This is a very odd story.

A police sergeant in Victoria has been suspended after she allegedly performed an outlawed Nazi salute.

The 65-year-old woman, who is an instructor on domestic violence policy and law at the Victoria state police academy in Melbourne, could face criminal charges for the gesture.

She praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler with the words, “Heil Hitler” on Tuesday and Wednesday in front of academy staff and recruits, police commissioner Shane Patton said.

The police officer, whose name has not been released, has served in the police for more than 40 years.

Patton said the suspended officer did not have a history of extreme views and her motives were unknown.

So, a female of 65 with 40 years of service, with no known extreme views & who works in the domestic violence area, suddenly ups & does the most offensive thing she can think of. A cry for help? Seeking wrap around care? Or is it two fingers to the Victorian Police & its active role in crushing Covid protest and not pro Palestinian protest?

Why do I think there’s more to this story than we have been told?

In November, if the proposed Waitangi Principles bill is introduced as announced, and the wording is roughly also as announced, it will confirm Government has the right to govern, which sounds dopey to need to reassert, but when Hipkins, Leader of Labour and the Opposition and former Prime Minister, says Maori did not cede sovereignty at Waitangi, 1840, he casts doubt on his integrity and right to have been Prime Minister and to still be in Government.

And in regard to Christopher Luxon, who has so repeatedly has stated National will not pass this proposed bill, will he finally explain exactly why he will not support such legislation, yet sight unseen, but will assert his right to even officially be in the position to not pass the bill – I did say above it seems dopey.

The Maori Party, who are apparently hypocritically still sitting in Parliament while awaiting the establishment of a Maori Parliament, along with Hipkins, are a prime reason for the bill.

And of course if the so-called Founding Document of the Nation, does not distinguish who has the right to govern – or that Principle cannot be derived from the Treaty – what fucking use is it?

        Taumata Arowai is the water regulator, it does the job the ministry of health used to do. It has no ownership of council asserts, it can’t control the council asserts. It is there to monitor the water quality. It’s not 3 waters

  OK, I’ll bite.
  
  Government interference, and overreliance on government, are the major factors amplifying disaster risk.
  
  The best way to mitigate disaster risk is to reduce the amount of government centralisation. Depend on yourself as much as possible and the communities around you.
  
  In NZ that means having emergency supplies etc to be able to last at least 3 days.
  
  We’re certainly not preppers but we could last at least 2 weeks on the food, water and gas we have in the house without going out of the front door.

Couple of excerpts –The nation is in the grip of the largest brain drain we’ve seen in decades. Probably. … I mean we don’t know for sure how intelligent the departing Kiwis are – the stats don’t make that clear. Sadly, those leaving are probably smart, well-qualified, employable young people who just don’t see opportunity in New Zealand right now. What the stats do tell us is that 81,200 Kiwis left these shores long-term in the year to August. In nominal terms, that’s probably the highest number of annual departures ever.

So taxpayers and their families current and future are leaving and unemployment numbers are rising. Sounds like a few Plan Bs are needed. Maybe up to 149 Plan Bs speeded up will help.

  If you’ve got a usable skill why would you remain in NZ facing the prospect of a tribal government? Chief Modlik spelt it out. His type of tribal Maori wants Oklahoma reservations ruled by Maoris. His 50% German genes are apparently overwhelmed by his mother’s Polynesian ones. It’s a recipe for disaster – domestic violence and alcoholism persists in reservations and the main industry is casinos. No wonder there’s a brain drain, with Australia the main beneficiary.

  Maori ways of knowing? Knowing what? They were a stone age people. Anything they knew was dwarfed by the knowledge of the western and eastern world. The only thing they have to offer (and I use the word “offer” very loosely) is fairy tales about mystical beings, which aren’t particularly fascinating. I’d suggest the indoctrination will only last as long as the funding. Once Auckland gets into Otago’s position, there will be a good few getting the employment chop.

  The biggest hurdle for this happening is farmers who won’t allow access.
  Recently I approached a landowner who surrounds a small DOC reserve behind Napier.. Asked for permission to jump the fence to retrieve a animal if I shot one. I could walk in via the DOC land but of course the easy animals are eating the grass on the farm. Owner was very pleased for someone to get rid of them as they have 200 acres of native in QE2 covenant that was getting smashed BUT I had to ask the neighbour was leasing the land. Went and asked… No way. Saving it for family. So between the two farms he had 2000 acres.
  I saw 8 deer within 100 meters of the DOC boundary. Dose anyone think his family would go short of a deer?

  Of course nobody will be sacked. They have been building homes to the specifications approved by the last government. It was all funded by debt. All draw downs of debt were approved by the Minister of Finance and the Housing Minister.
  
  In other words the development in question was a direct result of government directives.

A massive UK study, led by Oxford University’s Professor Colm D Andrews and involving 1.7 million children has found that heart damage, specifically myocarditis and pericarditis, only occurred in children who received COVID mRNA vaccines.

According to the study, “Zero cases of myocarditis or pericarditis were found in the unvaccinated group” and “despite widespread vaccination efforts, the virus did not put children at risk of death or the need for emergency care, hospitalization, or critical care.”

The study also found that COVID-19 vaccines offered little long-term protection, as many children caught the virus just 14 to 15 weeks after getting the shot.

  Keith: You posted this yesterday…what exactly are you trying to achieve? Many of us – me included – had our teenage and younger kids vaccinated because we were convinced at the time that it was the prudent thing to do. It now appears that that may very well not have been the case. But if there is damage, the damage has been done. We can’t go back in time and make a different decision.
  
  And if your response is that you are trying to convince people not to have any more shots? We all have more than enough information now to make well informed choices. To me, all posts like urs achieve is to make people worry – or perhaps guilty for the choices We made a few years back.

Australia’s iron ore capital Port Hedland is sending a written warning to all health practitioners within its boundaries about the dangers of the covid gene-vaccines and is calling for their immediate suspension on safety grounds after DNA contamination was again found in the products.

Councillor Adrian McRae told Letters From Australia that five out of eight council members had already been injured by the products in 2022, one suffering blood clots and myocarditis.

All reference to the Treaty and its ‘Principles’ are removed from the proposed Treaty Principles Bill, as with all other legislation where Treaty and its ‘Principles’ are actually irrelevant.

The utter inability to reasonably translate the precise sense of the Treaty – so that two consecutive Prime Ministers hold entirely opposite views (over of sovereignty) – may be the origin of questioning legitimacy of Government, but does not need to be part of correcting the situation which now exists.

So, without the Treaty in the bill, would Luxon still oppose its passing?
Will the Greens stop navel gazing long enough to see the big picture?
Will Winston realise his stance “that the Treaty has no principles any case” is not an argument without the Treaty?
Would Labour see it still-born?
And would even the race-based Maori Party realise race could be removed from this and it is then just a black and white decision?

Alas the bloody Treaty will be in the bill and the shambles will continue.
And the Land of the Long White Cloud may as well be the Land of the Long Black Cloud.

The primary UNIFIL mission was to ensure south Lebanon was cleared of hizbollah terrorists and assist the Lebanese military to ensure it stayed that way. It’s pretty clear that they have totally failed. It’s time for them to get out of the way and let Israel do the job that UNIFIL and the Lebanese failed to do.

Yesterday I forgot to mention this very good (near brilliant) novel that is centred around Somerset Maugham’s short story & Play “The Letter”.

It’s ” The House of Doors” by the Malaysian novelist Tan Twan Eng.
