  Whilst I applaud the Nats education policy I find it hillarious but sad that they intend to mandate the teaching of English writing maths and science.
  This proves what I and others have been posting for years that the education system has descended into a farce over the past 30 to 40 years with the emphasis on fringe subjects like Te Reo rather than the skills to get a job and live a productive life.
  No doubt the Teachers Unions will object to having to actually teach useful subjects rather than their woke garbage.

    Yes, we all know the education sector is a dogs breakfast, they say thirty years, but this crap gender quizzing, toilet choice instead of what is actual, the sexuality of kids has only begun the last few years, no wonder many kids are not going to school.
    
    When I went to school we did English, Maths, reading and science, and there was usually a period with cooking for the girls, and wood work for the boys, and that was it, at High school they added History, Economics, snd language if you wanted it, what is so hard about that?

      1967 we were melting aluminum with gas and a vacuum cleaner as an air blast. Poured into pre made sandbox molds. Two piece molds with cores.
      Man I had a lot of fun learning this.

      I accompanied my son into Pacific Radiology for an x ray. They said I had to wear a mask. I told them I had an exemption, but they said that only applied to the subject of the scan, not third parties.

    SO – the debate might be over but the accountability for every single “recommendation” that was not part of our original pandemic preparedness plan, none of which made one jot of difference, needs to begin. The lies from Jacinda’s podium of truth especially so that the 50% of “believers” can see what was done to them.
    
    Even the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) have come out with some weasel words to reduce the number of vaccinations. They’re not the whole way there yet but are getting there.

      mawm – it’s a start I suppose. At least they are advising against it for kids under 18 and don’t recommend it for adults under 65 who are normally healthy. I’m no doctor, but I actually think those with comorbidities are more at risk from this shit than their actual health issues, but I fully understand why they would think they need to have it.
      
      I have an immune compromised friend who never had major health issues until they took the jabs.
      Now they have multiple. Coincidence? Yeah nah. But we can’t even discuss the possibility because they were so invested in it from the beginning.
      
      These are the things that anger me so much about what was done to us. None of it was necessary.

It’s almost as if those expensive consultants who told us how great it would be were telling porkies.

        The Hundertwasser project was contingent on funding from the Northland Regional Council as the Cornerstone funder and additional funding from the government (PGF if I recall. )
        WDC granted the go ahead based on this, no government funding, no white elephant, or albatross on necks.

    Whangarei District Council held a referendum on the Art Center, it was thrown out.
    At the same time the Northland Regional Council decided to take dividends from North Port that had been paid to rate payers and create a Regional Development Fund.
    Council officers asked me what I thought of that idea, (Consultation with local organisations) I said I didn’t like it, but I’d be particularly upset if that money ended up with something stupid like the Hundertwasser Center.
    Noooo, they said, don’t be ridiculous. Nek Minute “We’ve busted the fund for Hundertwasser, but we’re going to ask the government for more money to top up the fund.”

      The NRC’s next move with the Northport funds was a wood processing facility that would provide umpteen jobs and be ever so good for the environment etc.
      It went broke within a couple of years and there’s suggestions the books were fiddled, council was trying to recover funds last I heard, and I presume the consultants thought it was great.

        I am a Monarchist and proud of it. Constitutional Monarchy has provided the most stable form of governance. In fact some non British countries have joined the Commonwealth in recent years to take advantage of the system. I refer to Rwanda, Mozambique, Gabon and Togo the last 4 countries to join the Commonwealth.
        I am also proud of my English heritage tracing my ancestry back to the 12th Century in Lancashire. I find it amusing that people with a few drops of Maori blood should be lauded for proclaiming their Maori ancestry and good on them for doing so yet Whites like me are despised if we proclaim our ancestry as will be demonstrated by the number of down ticks I will receive.

        At the end of the day it doesn’t seem to matter a hoot as to how I define myself…no-one much is going to take my views into account.
        
        I consider race to be a contrived nit-picking nonsense for the biological classification of humans… yet I am consistently classified as NZ European.
        Well, there’s little to debate about my ancestral origins…and so I’m not going to argue the point that because I was born on a S. Pacific Island and have spent most of my 70 years here, I am NOT European.
        
        But, how to argue the point as to my Hubby… He was born here…and is classified in this country as NZ European….but his parents – though both born and raised in Europe were definitely not classified as good European stock during the Nazi regime.
        Is my husband REALLY a European/white person?
        
        And there’s the rub… Other folks will quickly lump you into an Identity niche as quick as they can if it so advantages them to do so.

  This statement at the bottom of linked article opens up a whole new can worms for me.
  Why are there 2 trusts?
  Is the 2nd Gallery not in need of financial assistance?
  If not why?
  If so, why is that not mentioned in the article?
  Is it because they’re ‘special’ people?
  How much council money is actually being poured into this White Elephant via the 2 trusts?
  How can something be called ‘iconic’ when its been open barely a year?

  It has been reported today that traffic modelling by WBS consultancy revealed that if the two-way traffic was introduced in place of the current one-way system in Central Dunedin it would result in more congestion and increased journey times. Now, if this modelling was not done we wouldn’t know that, would we?

    Any prediction will by definition be based on some assumptions. Therein lies the beauty (if you are a consultant) or the mantrap (if you are a client). Accepting a consultant’s report and predictions without a rigorous examination of the assumptions and the prediction’s sensitivity to changing the assumptions is a mugs game and anyone doing so deserves to be ripped off royally.

  The media are still, both subtly and often less so, portraying Brown as out of touch and reactionary. And yet much of the noise I hear when I’m in Auckland is that ratepayers like what he is doing.

    last night I heard HDPA saying that councils were leaving becuase the organisation they paid to represent them had secretly sided with the government over three waters. This sounds like a great reason to resign from local bodies NZ.
    
    Now I hear the media report Brown wants out becuase they wasted money on a boozy conference. This seems like a stupid reason to leave an organisation.
    
    I suspect the media are, yet again, mis informing us with regards to Brown. I am sure the main reason is what HDPA referenced and that Brown also made comment around a boozy conference. I think the media want to protect Local body NZ and make people think Brown is a bit of a wowser.

  Local Government NZ are a joke. They are there to protect their own interests and jobs. Wayne Brown is correct in saying that their “conferences” are nothing more than an excuse to piss up large at ratepayer expense. Much worse however is their decision to direct Councils down ideological paths. As an example, it was LGNZ that agreed with the Liemore Pardy to support 3 waters and to go ahead with co-governance without their membership even being consulted. They are a law to themselves. In essence the idea of a lobby group – which is what they are – has some good points, but when they lobby on behalf of themselves and their own personal ideologies then it is time for them to go. I hope that other Councils also leave, but I don’t see much hope as most are already following the woke agendas.

    As a resident of Christchurch I was particularly impressed to hear discussion around Aucklands debt and budget. It is exciting to hear councils talk about pairing back ‘services’ to come into budget and avoid further borrowing.
    
    I also enjoy the obvious hatred in the media towards Brown. It’s quite entertaining. of course it also means we (esp those outside of Akl) have no idea if he really is the fool the media portray him to be.

  Provide every child with a Student Education Account. A child will receive $250,000 of taxpayer-funded education over their life, but parents have little choice in how it’s spent. ACT will empower parents by placing this money in a Student Education Account. Parents will be able to use it at any registered educational institution that will accept their child’s enrolment, public or private.
  
  Schools must be given the flexibility to respond to a diversity of needs and all children – not just the well-off – should have a choice in education. ACT’s Partnership Schools were an example of this philosophy in action. Educators had freedom to innovate and families could vote with their feet by taking their children to a more innovative school that better met their needs.
  
  The Government will spend just over $250,000 on taxpayer-funded education over the life of every baby born this year, but parents have little control over how it is spent. We could get much better value for that money for all children, but especially disadvantaged children, if it was used to empower families to choose their school, public or private. Those who want to continue at their current school will be able to do so, however those who don’t will have greater choice.

  Well National did introduce a number of good policies to deal with educational issues. The problem is that Labour immediately reversed most of them when they came in.
  
  But in general you are right, the dept of education is full of people who think the same way as Labour and any changes National put forward suffer from pushback and sabotage. Its our own ‘deep state’. The Ministry of ed needs to go. They have failed in their mission.

    The Henderson Intermediate(?) principal on AM this morning was trying to explain how children have to deal with so much outside school, which is why they do not learn the basics inside school.
    
    But didn’t earlier generations of school children also have to deal with stuff outside school? Like World Wars, economic depressions, and an influenza epidemic that actually did kill a lot of people. Earthquakes are not new, nor are occasional extreme weather events, or things closer to home – such as domestic violence and child abuse.
    
    Would it be terribly incorrect to suggest the elephant in the room may be larger numbers of children coming from missing parent and/or inter-generationally welfare-dependent families?
    Perhaps a society more interested in its rights than its responsibilities might also play a part?

Should Rosie Parker be allowed into NZ? (I suspect a resounding yes). Is what she says correct? I think so. The Rugby Union and the athletics body have both limited participation in women’s sport to bio-women. Would it be better if there was a lot less heat and more light by both sides?

The perception that farmer levy funded organisations like Beef and Lamb have also become government’s mouthpieces have cost the former chair his job. His replacement appears to have been endorsed by Groundswell.
There’ll be a lot more blood on the floor if the Nats continue to push HWEN and other anti farmer regulations without farmers having viable alternatives.

        It seems eerily similar to been told in 2017 by National people that the major election issue would be water quality and National weren’t planning to support farmers.
        As I recall National went on to win the most votes of any party in that election and become the largest opposition party under MMP, a historic first.

We learned today that local Iwi in Tauranga are demanding $100 million before they will allow the Port of Tauranga permission to upgrade the port for another (4th) Container wharf and a few other bits.
Earlier it was that there was no cultural report on some Pipi beds.
We had heard an offer of $3.75 million had been presented earlier but on last day of the long (11 years so far) hearing this new $100 million figure arose and the Iwi Lawyer said they should have expected this.
I do not really know what to say ~!

Perhaps the tide is turning, and the madness and delusions may – if not disappear altogether – then at least slow down to a trickle, I hope.

Hot on the heels of a British woman being allowed to enter the country to point out that biology is real and trans-women are fake, World Athletics has declared that trans-“women” who have been through puberty as a male are not allowed to compete in female world ranking events from the end of next week.

Further, for those who have not been through puberty as a male, they have reduced the permissible level of blood testosterone to below 2.5 nanomoles per litre, down from five, and must remain under this threshold for two years in order to compete internationally in the female category in any track and field event.

it’s almost as if somebody has opened a biology textbook, scratched their head and thought “something’s not quite right here.”

We can only hope this filters down through all levels of the sport, and to other sports as soon as possible. Stop. The. Madness.

    The situation became so absurd that it was obvious that Lia Thomas was ‘throwing’ some races because ‘she’ wanted to avoid the backlash of winning every race at a swimming meet.
    
    Of course the female swimmers were silenced and threatened with expulsion from college if they complained. When one of them objected to a person with a penis at close quarters in the locker room she was told to seek counselling for their phobia.
    
    Of course now that some of these swimmers have graduated, they are blowing the whistle.

    Hot off the press, so to speak. Just walked through a room that had the TV1 midday news on, with two women watching it.
    
    The first story was about Posie Parker’s imminent arrival here. The reporter was breathless in her telling of the story, as if enemy missiles were inbound and we all needed to hunker down and stay safe.
    
    But it was the reaction of the two luvvies watching that left me wondering how stupid and manipulated people have become.
    
    First reaction was, well if she’s coming here to stir things up, don’t let her in. And, why should we have to pay to keep her safe from protestors, she shouldn’t be allowed to stir things up, stir things up, stir things up…
    
    So, I asked, what do you know about Posie Parker? I got a big pause and frowns, then several variations of, she’s anti-trans and is coming here to stir things up. Neither of them had had any other information than what they had heard on state-funded media.
    
    This, folks, is how easy it is to destroy free speech using the thug’s veto, an ideological media, and rank ignorance.

  I’m not too sure she was even close to tearing him apart but, yes, a bit of a surprise that she seemed somewhat balanced in her questioning.
  
  For me, the most instructive thing about interviews like that are you get a real window into how the sausage is made when it comes to the propaganda.
  
  Hill kinda had him when she asked what would happen if he and his protest group simply stayed away and let Parker speak to a small group of people. He was caught off guard because it revealed that any violence or confrontation could only really happen if his protest group tried to interfere in what is a legal meeting with Parker and her attendees exercising their right to assemble and speak.

The push for greater literacy and numeracy from National will be great if it does nothing more that equip voters to recognise that the policies and numbers put out by Labour are so out of whack that they should be derided by the media and not lauded by them.

Take the announcement by Michael Wood regarding EV uptake and Charging Stations. We know that it was an uncosted thought bubble but a cursory look at the numbers will show you just how much of a pipe dream this is.

As an example, we only need to look at Norway.

Norway has a similar population, and the total number of private vehicles is nearly identical at 2.8 million.

Norway has been campaigning for greater uptake of EVs since 1990. In 33 years it has got to 19%.

Wood wants to get NZ to 30% in 7 years.

30% of 2.8 million is 840,000. 840,000/7 is 120,000.

To get to Wood’s goal, NZ’er need to purchase 10,000 new EV’s a month, every month, for 7 years.

Also, Norway generates 151 Terrawatt Hours of renewable energy evey year to power its country and vehicle fleet.

Wood wants 840,000 new EV’s in a country that only generates 48 terrawatt hours.

I have no idea what is worse. The total Naievety of Wood’s brain fart, of the fact that no media outlet is pulling him up on it!

  The answer is hidden on a page of responses all showing present favourable recent purchase results.
  All positive, as there has not been enough time to identify any possible unfavourable outcomes.

    NZ has high excess mortality. It began a few months after the jab rollout. Correlation is not causation, but the “coincidence” is more than enough to have the madness stopped.
    
    Excess NZ deaths are not due to covid. There are many reasons which include lack of medical treatment, mental pressures from loss of jobs, loss of friends and family relationships, loss of business and employment opportunities, and of course the jabs themselve.
    There is absolutely now doubt they are killing people. Many more than the handful that have so far been acknowledged.
    
    This is an unfolding story. Our numbers in NZ are undoubtedly manipulated to support the government narrative and to prevent the actual truth being permitted.

Far better to have them sitting listening to East Polynesian myths and BS than learning how to read, write, do maths and science. After all, most of these young teachers fresh from the woke Uni teacher training schools, can’t do any of the basics themselves anyway.     When the best you can do to is quote a single accident from 2007 (yes, 16 years ago), then your argument is really weak. Were the construction standards of that barrier the same as those built today? Close spaced triple cable with close spaced vertical supports. I think more motorcyclists’ lives have been saved by median barriers built to today’s standards stopping oncoming vehicles than by being killed through “cheese cutter” injuries.

Ending the covid debate for good

Lockdowns

If lockdowns were necessary, then countries which did not lock down would show spikes in their mortality rates.

This is not the case. We were fortunately provided with a control nation in the shape of Sweden, where there has been no evidence of a pandemic at all. And, no, Sweden did not do a ‘voluntary’ lockdown.

Masks

Governments had bad advisors from the very beginning… They were convinced by non-randomised studies, flawed observational studies. A lot of it had to do with appearing as if they were ‘doing something.’

In early 2020, when the pandemic was ramping up, we had just updated our Cochrane review ready to publish…but Cochrane held it up for 7 months before it was finally published in November 2020.

After the 7-month delay, Cochrane then published an editorial to accompany our review. The main message of that editorial was that you can’t sit on your hands, you’ve got to do something, you can’t wait for good evidence…. it’s a complete subversion of the ‘precautionary principle’ which states that you should do nothing unless you have reasonable evidence that benefits outweigh the harms.

Masks were entirely political and for the sake of social control.

Vaccines

The vaccine pushers willfully ignore a study conducted by Peter Doshi (a senior editor at one of the most prestigious medical journals in the world, the British Medical Journal), along with credible researchers from around the world.

This study, published in a journal entitled Vaccine, found the following:

Combined, the mRNA vaccines were associated with an excess risk of serious adverse events of special interest of 12.5 per 10,000 vaccinated… The excess risk of serious adverse events found in our study points to the need for formal harm-benefit analyses, particularly those that are stratified according to risk of serious COVID-19 outcomes.

Yes, the vaccines carry meaningful risk. Considering most people had already had covid when they got the vaccine, or they were at no risk of serious illness, the vaccine pressure campaign has been criminal.

A paper is currently in preprint from Denmark which aims to explain why the EU experienced excess all-cause mortality in the first nine months of 2022.

Its conclusion, which still awaits review:

Analyses of 31 countries weighted by population size show that all-cause mortality during the first nine months of 2022 increased more the higher the 2021 vaccination uptake.

Imagine still being pro-vax.

Conclusion – The debate is over.

The entire planet has fallen victim to a global assault in the name of health and safety.

Scientists and journalists (and politicians) who do not acknowledge this are at minimum complicit after the fact.

I see Biden’s latest Federal Judicial Nominee, Kato Crews doesn’t know what a Brady Motion is.

I’m guessing there’s a number of non-lawyer Kiwis on here that know what it is.

It’s basically a request by the defense for any potential exculpatory evidence from the prosecution.

It is a massively important legal right that serves to protect defendants rights to a fair trial and this Democrat Judge doesn’t know what it was.

An example of a Brady violation would be the Jan 6 lawyers not getting video showing their defendants being allowed in by Capital Police. It may not get them off but it would almost certainly get their sentences reduced.

A New Zealand example of what would be a Brady violation in the US was when the Prosecutors didn’t advise John Banks’ lawyers that Kim Dot Com had changed his story about their meeting.

Why do Auckland Council’s Franklin Ward Councillors vote left? I thought it would be a rural right voting area.

The latest example is Auckland Council votes to scrap their Membership to council industry group LGNZ and conferences, costing $640k per annum The vote was split with Andy Baker of Franklin voting to stay.

The Herald says “Rodney councillor Andy Baker said membership allowed the urban-based council to learn about its rural needs, Albert-Eden-Puketapapa councillor Julie Fairey said attending one conference had allowed her to make contacts and enduring relationships, and North Shore councillor Chris Darby said membership allowed Auckland to strengthen its sphere of interest.”

The Herald’s wrong Andy Baker is the Councillor for Franklin not the Councillor for Rodney who is Greg Sayers.

So how does LGNZ a lobby advocacy group with industry conferences, help rural areas I wonder? In what way?

Julie Fairey says she made relationships. Who cares. Good for her career no doubt but do it on your party dime.

And Darby said it allowed Auckland to “strengthen it’s sphere of interest”. What does that even mean. Is he an imperialist.

What’s up with Franklin Ward? Do they usually vote left.

  Andy Baker is as far as I know is a National supporter. His late father Pat Baker put his name forward for the then Franklin electorate in 1972 but lost out to Bill Birch. His grandfather was a member (if not chair) of the former Franklin County Council.

    Golriz pointed out yesterday that while Rights are absolute, they can contradict each other and therefore trade offs must be made.
    
    So we have the current potential tradeoffs:
    
    Trans people feeling safe by not having their rights discussed vs people discussing the tradeoffs between Trans rights and biological womens’ rights.
    
    And
    
    Trans people’s right to physical and emotional safety vs biological women’s right to physical and emotional safety
    
    Right now, Trans activists are claiming 100% rights and demanding biological women be quiet. I get the risks and issues etc but look at the following:
    
    The right for any biological male to declare that they’re a female and have access to female only safe spaces. The claim of wanting safety goes out the window when you’re just going to let the people who are a threat to you into the safe space anyway, so clearly as a comparison of rights there is no question that this must be thrown out in the interests of women’s right to safety.

    In the murky world of who funds VFF, there is big money behind the marketing campaign, and indeed the platform itself.
    
    As for Williams, he points to the fact that they were being told to not rock the boat by asking questions about the jabs and the mandates etc:

    Williams is spot on.

I was just reading where ‘The Warehouse’ had suffered a 60% drop in earnings during the last six months. And will be laying off hundreds a staff 🙁

Came as no surprise to me to be honest.
Last time I ever shopped there was to stock up on their cheap Butter.
What struck me even then was the LACK of staff anyway!
The only person we saw was the girl on the Till. And 4 of the 8 self-checkouts had ‘not-in-use-signs’….which meant Ma and me were there for nearly an hour going in and out buying 4 packets each at a time.
We ended up with 40 blocks between us. She kept 10 and me 30.

I’ve still got a few left in the bottom of the freezer I think.
So still quite a good saving nonetheless.

The voter stats are in and we are not oppressing Maori.
Auckland Local Boards agendas have the 2022 elections review for their next meetings.

From the 2022 Auckland Council election:

“Demographic data shows that turnout for electors of Māori descent was lower than the average turnout” (So they didn’t vote as much.)

“A higher percentage of Maori and European candidates stood for election than might be expected from looking at Auckland Adult population.”

“Both groups were more likely to be elected resulting in notable OVER representation” (Emphasis mine – so Maori didn’t vote as much but they were highly elected)

“Asian was the most under represented with only 12% compared to 29% of population”

(So Maori were over represented compared to the population in elected seats. PLUS they got two extra votes as Auckland Council has Maori seats granted by legislation.)

“The Local Government Electoral Legislation Bill, when enacted, will require the council to resolve by 20 December 2023 whether to have Māori representation. “

  Between 12pm and 12.30-ish today, I heard a political reporter on newstalkzb (didn’t catch name but American/Canadian) talking about this Posy Parker issue.
  It was sensible and refreshing to hear a reporter say that most people in NZ do not care about this woman coming to speak and didn’t really care about trans issues either.
  According to him it is just basically a beat up on Twitter by activists and that most ordinary New Zealanders have more to worry about – like how to pay next weeks rent.

  What’s to stop trans from forming their own sports events? Why can’t they go to a male prison? Oh, because they would be worried for their safety! How bloody ironic. That is all women want and it is what Parker is advocating for. Safe places for women.

If anyone was aware of the story from a few days ago of UK MP Andrew Bridgen giving a damning speech in their parliament regarding the rates of vaccine injuries and deaths in the UK, this is an interesting read.

The author managed to get a reply from their local MP as to why they, along with almost every other MP, fled the chamber before Bridgen could speak.

I’m waiting for a reply to these questions.

At least he managed to get a reply, unlike here in NZ where all 121 MPs apparently have nothing to say on the subject when questioned. They don’t even acknowledge receipt of the emails.

Free Speech Union email regards Posie Parker:

Yesterday, we were told that a collection of Rainbow organisations were seeking to have judicially review Immigration New Zealand’s decision to allow Posie Parker’s (Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull) entry into New Zealand. They claim that her very presence in New Zealand makes the Rainbow ‘community’ unsafe, and she is a threat to public order, so the decision to allow her to enter is illegal.

I worked with the team late into the night to get intervening status in the Court today, so if Crown Law didn’t make strong free speech arguments, we’d be there to pick up the slack. Good thing too, as their arguments have been about the lack of evidence that Posie Parker poses a harm to New Zealand, and not about the fact that speech rights protect her right to make provocative claims. Early this morning the Court granted intervening status, which meant we had to get our arguments in order quickly.

It is possible that without the counter-pressure we put on the Minister of Immigration initially, the decision would never have been made to allow her to enter the country. But it is certainly clear that without our presence in the Court today, no one would have been fighting for free speech.

The Rainbow organisations that are pursuing this case will clearly stop at nothing to silence voices that challenge their beliefs. We have to be just as committed to tolerance, open debate, and the right for free speech.

They have raised over $15,000 to support their cause and pay for the fees to continue to fight Parker coming into the country. Because we are ready to jump into the fight at a moments notice to defend free speech, I believe we will see them off once again.

The FSU are genuine bloody heroes.

I think most people are aware now that the covid narrative was a lie.
This excellent post by Dr Pierre Kory discusses this, how it happened, and the fallout we are beginning to witness – and this will continue.

Although I am continually awed by what mass propaganda can get the public to believe. I believe mandating the COVID-19 vaccines was something so egregious that no amount of propaganda could overcome the widespread distrust it would create.

I believe this because:

1. Many were forced to choose between prolonged economic hardship or submitting to a vaccination they did not want; being dominated in this manner is something people rarely forget.

2. Many either directly suffered a significant adverse effect from vaccination or saw it happen to someone they knew (I believe this now applies to over half of the USA’s adult population). Since many of those events were sudden deaths, the link to vaccination is both unambiguous and difficult to forget.

3. The ever-shifting promises from our healthcare authorities about the vaccines have over and over again been proven to be lies. Because of the two previous points, the public remembers exactly what was said and no amount of propaganda can rewrite the history of what happened.

All of this has led to the situation where we are continually watching the narrative implode in real time, as those in charge realize what they had previously hoped for is untenable (e.g., the public compliantly vaccinating every 4 months indefinitely). Instead, major concessions will need to be made to regain the public’s trust and something (e.g., long COVID or climate change) will need to be offered up as an explanation for the epidemic of sudden deaths and permanent disability we are now facing.

These are all accurate comments. None of this is every discussed in the mainstream media in NZ. Why?

A recent flurry of advertisements ( only since Christmas ) about some company called “Hazmat”.
This is apparently an organisation which handles dangerous substances, in particular relating to ASBESTOS when performing DIY home activities.
I detect a remarkable similarity in these advertisements to those from 2020 – 2022 regarding the dreaded COVID-19.
It smacks of a scam: they want $100 GST to check samples of demolition materials for asbestos from structures homeowners flatten so that they can have “piece of mind “.
Most homeowners wouldn’t have a clue about the composition of their homes’ materials, and that is the whole point !
Bloody leeches.

  You can send your sample to one of the DHBs in the old days and they would tell you if it was asbestos. I did that on the N Shore about 25 years ago.
