More evidence that the pharmaceutical industry funded CDC is unfit for purpose: The CDC has quietly added Covid shots to the pediatric immunization schedule.

The CDC has officially taken the recommendation of its vaccine panel and added a triple dose of the COVID shot to its list of recommended vaccinations for American kids, toddlers, and babies – a list used by many public school systems to determine which shots a child must have in order to start school.

Per the updated guidelines, healthy kids 6 months old and up should receive a two doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech monovalent COVID-19 vaccine followed by a bivalent vaccine or booster.

This amounts to deleterious vaccine mandates for kids who can’t push back by protesting or by mounting legal challenges.

Pfizer et al will profit. Kids will die. No one will be held accountable.

        I’ve come to embrace depopulation as a good thing, overpopulation is the root cause of many problems.
        If I was in a group of the most powerful people in the world trying to figure out solutions on a planetary scale I’d absolutely be on board.
        I’m not a member of such a group, but having reflected on this for a while I actually think it’s for the overall good to shrink the population within the next 2 or 3 generations.
        Anyway it’s just my opinion and I respect your right to hold your own opinion.

    Worked for me as a kid. We lived in the sticks so no Doctor just down the road to run to. I had mumps, chickenpox, English measles, German measles and whatever else. All with no vaccine. I like it that way, I have my own natural antibodies.
    I did of course had vaccines for polio, tetanus etc.

  Cyclone Hale was named by the Fiji Met Service
  
  Cyclone Gabrielle by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.

  The alphabetic system is per the marine area in which each cyclone forms and thus naming rights are awarded.
  Hale was only a depression in Australia waters and didn’t turn into a cyclone until named by Fiji, who were up to H.
  Australia are were onto G when Gabrielle formed.
  So for example Fiji Met Service area has had cyclones Hale, Irene (which we didn’t hear about) and now Gabrielle pass through.

  I think they are using Desley as the spokesperson. The lefties see this as a weakness but it shows Wayne Brown’s strength. He knows she is better with the media. His ego can tolerate him stepping aside. Also he is a one term mayor and it is great experience for Desley who has the capability to be his successor.

Of course Brown received no support from National as Labo appointed a minister of Auckland to help cancel out a democratically elected mayor. What a hatchet job.   She has been around some time and is very well prepared professional – that will upset them too, as Brown is doing what Luxon is doing delegating as any good manager should.

  Well, it is no longer just occasional light rain and no wind in Bayswater. It has been building all morning.
  
  If you care to look at the track of the Cyclone (of course that means going to the dreaded MSM and official sites like Metservice) then you can see that we are very obviously in for a severe weather event. Just how severe is not yet clear. But to put it mildly, it would be foolish to make no preparations.

    The commercial weather sites such as Predict Wind are saying much the same thing as Metservice etc so it will happen.

      BOM show something similar to PW if you follow the MSP forecast but their “track” now quite different. MetService “track” (Issued: 11:59am Sat, 11 Feb) whereas Meteye actual/forecast (Updated 12 Feb 2023, 2:39 AM AEDT).
      One might of thought, given the concern, that MetService could be a bit more diligent in their update schedule perhaps? Guess not seeing the next update will be: (The next bulletin will be issued by 1pm Sun, 12 Feb ).

        Local weather stations are really really good at advising the actual weather at Bayswater park.
        
        Rain radar is also another new fangled invention which also plots actual weather.

        It may come as a surprise, but yes, I am fully aware of this. And of course I know a lot of weather forecasting is done by computer simulations. However, simulations and satellite readings will not tell you the actual wind gust strength, the actual volume of rain, etc in specific locations.
        Which, as I am sure you are aware, is why there is an extensive network of met stations throughout New Zealand. It is why earlier this morning MetService was able to say there was a gust of 133 kph at Cape Reinga (which must surely have been exceeded by now).

      We have the tail of the cyclone currently ripping east to west across Northland down to the top of the Coromandel. Winds up north potentially hitting 50kts right now. Auckland not quite as bad. But it will increase as the day goes on, up to 60kts for sustained periods.
      
      The prediction is that the eye will move down the east coast out to sea a fair bit but it will be close.
      Certainly worth being prepared for. These things can change suddenly. Not as much rain yet, possibly late tomorrow.

        Yep, Follow the Jet streams for direction,
        If using Windy then “slide” the pressure up to 300 Hpa.
        It is going to be close but could quite easily slide to the West of the Cape.
        Current 962 Hpa and not weakening.
        Still a hell of a lot of energy in this.
        Be prepared for Monday Afternoon onwards.
        Constant monitoring will be required.
        Be warned.

        Hi Clan. Go too pressure and another drop down
        Menu in orange has a slider.
        Default is surface pressure.
        Slide it up to 300hpa and then you get direction of low.
        Otherwise google jet stream.
        Plenty of interactive live maps.
        997 Hpa. Should be falling rapidly soon.

    Going to the MSM to track this is not necessary.
    Apps like Windy and Ventusky are far more accurate with Ventusky running live.
    Here in Hillcrest North Shore rain stopped at 9.00, some wind and temperature at 19.5.

  I think the cyclone will hit us tomorrow through to Tuesday morning. The fun and games will start later tomorrow.
  Its quiet in the city at the moment as there is a southeasterly which only really shows itself in the outer Hauraki gulf.
  Having said all that the fear & disaster porn being pumped out is astonishing. This has led to supermarkets with product stripped from the shelves. The supply chain is creaking as a consequence

  Bridgenang – as we knew from the failed attempts to chase a flu vaccine for many years. The mRNA “vaccines” in particular are a complete disaster.
  
  People need to read that article and understand the difference between what can be stopped with a sterilising vaccine and what gets made worse by chasing the impossible.
  All of these outcomes like Original Antigenic Sin and Vaccine-associated enhanced disease (VAED), including Vaccine associated enhanced respiratory disease (VAERD) were warned about.

  It is the worst medical disaster in history and the next one will be worse if the profit driven pharmaceutical industrial complex is not destroyed and rebuilt with the necessary regulatory oversight.
  
  Currently there is none. Medsafe are a joke, as is the CDC and their equivalents around the world. Every one of them in the pockets of big pharma.

      You’re putting up a straw man here Alan. While its true that some people die from diseases that we now have vaccines for, not everyone dies from these diseases. The article essentially claims that if there’s a vaccine, its because there is the ability to develop natural immunity.
      While I’ve not seen a detailed list of vaccines and wether this is 100% true, the science behind the claim makes sense. Put simply, vaccines are based on the “technology” that our bodies use to develop immunity. If your body can’t do it, then science can’t do it.

      Alan – read the article fully. I may be wrong, but it seems to make perfect sense to me. If you can identify errors then please let me know what they are.
      Some diseases like smallpox, may well have an “end point” and it appears that particular disease has been eradicated. Not so much for polio as people seem to believe, though much of that may be due to interference by “science”.
      We know that there have been increases in outbreaks of polio in Africa, not from the wild virus, but driven by the vaccines. This is just one example. You won’t read or hear about it in NZ media.

So James Shaw has finally seen the light about biofuels.

      I dislike “labels” – where people are “labelled” as being right-wing, left-wing, pro-choice, pro-life, homophobic, whatever – at the best of times, because such labels tend to be used as a very broad descriptor, and people form views on people based on such labels which are invariably inaccurate.
      
      “Labels” imply all sorts of things to those that use them, and those that hear them. When somebody is labelled as “pro-life” for example (to pick a “label” at random), people immediately make assumptions about their world-views, what sort of person they are, where they stand on certain topics, their religious views, their political views. Which is utterly nonsensical, because as we all know you can’t just group people together based on a particular viewpoint they may have in common and make wide-ranging assumptions about them. It’s daft; yet people continue to do this based on “labels”.
      
      And so it is with the “extreme right-wing” label. People immediately form a view point of what sort of person goes with that label, even if they have never met them. And to label Benedict as “extreme right-wing” is quite bizarre. I cannot see how anybody who has read his intelligent and insightful comments on this site could possibly think of him as “extreme”.

I’ve posted before that I was able to work out the identities of two posters here simply by “joining the dots” between some of their posts and other posts on a Facebook community group that I belong to. And I wasn’t even trying.
      
      You have to be very careful with just how much personal information you choose to reveal. If you post on any other social media sites, have a LinkedIn profile, whatever, you increase the chances that someone will be able to identify you.
      
      It saddens me that I even have to write this – but in the current environment, people need to be aware.

  Glad you asked, as I also thinking the same for the last week or so and was thinking of asking hoping to hear the response was “oh he said he was going to take a holiday a while back”, but being doxxed and canceled also crossed my mind.
  
  “Aotearoa NZ” is becoming synonymous with authoritarianism i.e. if you don’t subscribe and swear allegiance to the new, radical, far-left agenda to transform this nation (in all sorts of areas) then you are to be exposed/doxxed/cancelled.
  
  This new radical form of “left-wing fascism” is leading the divisiveness and bitterness that is pitting people and communities against each other. And this is just at the beginning stage.
  
  It needs to stop and a change of Govt needs to examine this by bringing everything into the open and have open discussions on a more respectful way forward.
  
  It also needs to defund the “stirrers” (that are on the taxpayer payroll) and have it acknowledged that their views are extreme minority views (and while their views may have a place, they cannot be imposed on the majority).

[In Te Mana o te Wai statements]… anything and everything can be included without limit. These statements can of course be issued [only] by mana whenua – defined by the Bill as being the iwi or hapū holding and exercising, in accordance with tikanga, authority or other customary rights or interests in that area.

When Taumata Arowai, the new water regulator, was asked if they maintained a list of mana whenua they responded that they did not but instead pointed to a register of iwi and hapū maintained by Te Puni Kokiri. That list includes over 1200 iwi and hapū – each with a statutory right to issue a Te Mana o te Wai statement to the relevant water services entity.
To cap it off, section 91 of the Bill requires that the water services entities pay the remuneration, expenses and costs of mana whenua for exercising their duties, functions and powers under the Act. On the face of the Bill, this suggests that the water services entities will pay each iwi and hapū to prepare their Te Mana o te Wai statements. To confirm my understanding, I asked the Government, and a Department of Internal Affairs spokesperson confirmed that this is indeed the case with the following statement:

Under the Water Services Entities Act (currently the Water Services Entities Bill) the water services entities will be required to provide funding to their regional representative group and a regional advisory panel for that group or, as the case requires, to its territorial authority owners and to mana whenua, for remuneration, expenses, or costs.

These costs and expenses may include but are not limited to those associated with the preparation of Te Mana o te Wai statements.

The sheer number of these statements and their potential size and scope is mind-boggling. How much time, money and resource from the water services entities will be required to analyse each statement and respond with an implementation plan which is consistent with all of the other statements? How will statements that conflict with each other be reconciled? How will implementation of these statements be prioritised and how will they work alongside the requirements of the water infrastructure upgrade? Could these statements be used by an iwi to exert leverage over another iwi that it is in dispute with over another issue? Could an iwi use a statement to enhance a commercial interest of that iwi at the expense of a commercial competitor?

This unbridled expression of kaitiakitanga given to every iwi and hapū in the country and funded by ratepayers threatens to totally overwhelm the water services entities. And of course this is all completely untested. No-one has any idea whether this is workable until the system is implemented – at which time it will affect New Zealand’s entire water infrastructure.
Enough however is known now to suggest that this would be a monumental disaster for the country were this ever to be attempted.

Interesting, in Sir Apirana Ngata’s “The Treaty of Waitangi – An Explanation”, he affirms the name “Aotearoa” refers to the North Island only.

The laws made by Parliament affect all the people living on the face of this land, the land properly delineated and known as Aotearoa, the South Island and adjacent islands.

That was from page 15, note how Sir Apirana Ngata describes the land we know as NZ – “Aotearoa” as the North Island, then the “South Island” and “adjacent islands” to describe the hundreds of other smaller islands.

Now having established under this article of the Treaty the rights of the Maori, the law poses a question to the Maori, “Now, to whom does this land belong?” The reply would be noisy, there would be calls from this one, calls from that one. Blood would be spilt, that was Waitara, the repercussions spread to Waikato, and the fire spread to the far ends of Aotearoa (North Island).

This is from page 23 and Sir Apirana Ngata is clear that “Aotearoa” is referring to the “North Island”.

As Sir Apirana Ngata was born in 1874 (and had his book published in 1922) he was only a couple of generations away from the signing of the Treaty in 1840 and being Maori having an understanding of one’s history is of utmost importance. So if Sir Apirana Ngata says “Aotearoa” refers to the North Island then his words are authoritative.

Now this all fits other information in the public domain that is conveniently overlooked by the Govt, activists and the MSM 99% of the time. Back in 2021 Ngāi Tahu raised the fact that “Aotearoa” originally referred to the North Island.

So this issue needs re-examining (and as Ngāi Tahu’s Edward Ellison says in the article “It’s a bit slower, but they do it when the people are ready.”

In other words there is no need to rush to rename NZ as “Aotearoa” and basically it should be up to the people, when they are ready, whenever that may be and after considerable discussion and consensus ….. so not the Govt/Politicians and certainly not the MSM forcing it down people’s throats right now – take heed!

And if one thinks about it, this Govt/Political/MSM rush to rename NZ as “Aotearoa” (wrong as it is) is rather disrespectful to the Maori Chiefs that signed the 1840 Treaty in which the Maori translation of NZ was “Nu Tireni”.

If modern day Politicians, activists and MSM want to disrespect the Maori Chiefs and Elders … then that is on them and all that it entails ….

  Is there a way to disable it? I don’t want the thing blaring at me every time it gets a bit wet/windy. We live in NZ after all.
  It’d be OK if it was reserved for emergencies, but it appears that it’s going to be a regular thing now.
  I couldn’t find any way to disable it in my settings.

It’s sooo boring being stuck inside with this weather.
My partner has been watching the UFC-Prelims for the last two hours.
I suggested earlier we should go for a drive over to Mt Roskill and have a look at all the Wheelie-Bins blowing around the streets. He didn’t seem that interested.

What I find jarring is all people in this twitter thread thanking god for its survival. If god then shouldn’t we be be cursing the evil bastard that killed 20-30k mostly lovely people in this earthquake – with so many of them dying long slow agonizing deaths? Religious belief is so utterly bizarre.

Been a bit breezy up here today and a bit of rain – 50ml in the gauge since yesterday. Main issue is the power going off for about 5 secs every 5-10 minutes. Town is very quiet except for the Duke of Marlborough’s generator. I haven’t bothered to fire up ours.

Tomorrow should be less wind and more rain.
