Well, here is the UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid explaining to their parliament that 3 monthly boosters will keep the country safe.

Yes, seriously. 3 monthly. 4 shots each year. Forever.

First the vaxxes don’t work as promised, so the dutifully double jabbed need 6 monthly boosters.

Then the boosters don’t work as promised so the dutifully triple jabbed need 3 monthly boosters.

See any pattern here?

Pfizer et al will be orgasmic at this, as your bodies are converted to subscription income in perpetuity.

Further, our bio-fascist governments will be licking their chops at the prospect of demanding your bodily submission 3 monthly in order for you to retain your, ahem, ‘freedoms’.

  There’s an interesting question on the vax availability. We’ve consumed billions of doses to date and now billions more doses are to be made available. All of them were made since the approval or maybe they started them before that in anticipation. Either way, the math doesn’t work.
  
  If all the vaccine makers combined were able to make a dose at the rate of one per second, it would take almost 32 years to make a billion doses. Where’s it all coming from? Some people are on their fourth dose.
  
  We haven’t seen any visible expansion of their manufacturing facilities, no mass recruitment for the highly trained specialised staff required to make these things. Nothing like that is visible, at all. Yet here we are, with what appears to be an unlimited supply of this treatment. It’s almost like its been stockpiled.

    They’re making them much, much faster than 1/second. Remember each vial is 7 doses (or only 5 if you have NZ short-needle syndrome).
    
    The manufacturing has also been licensed out to many manufacturing sites. For example there’s even one in South Africa. The largest is in India.
    
    On its own, the Pfizer factory in Germany produces over 40 million doses a week (70 per second) and it is far from the largest. That’s 2 billion doses a year right there.

      You might be over-egging that one BY: certainly hundreds, but perhaps not thousands.
      
      According to ourworddata, there are currently 35.5 million doses being administered a day. That’s 410 per second. Quite likely the production rate is close to the same.
      
      At a few $ profit per dose you can see why they’ll be keen to keep the hamster running as long as possible.
      
      You can see while they’re actively pushing that people use the existing stuff for Omicron even though they know it needs a change. A 3 month hiatus in productions while making a new recipe would be a disaster on the stock market.

    Wow, you really are clueless on how these things are made, aren’t you? The vials contain 2mls of vaccine, and each dose to be administered is 300 microlitres or 0.3 ml.
    
    1 billion doses x 0.3 mls/ dose = 300,000 litres of vaccine.
    
    There are 6 doses per vial of vaccine (6 x 0.3mls = 1.8ml) although there are 2 mls of vaccine supplied per vial using the same principle as a Baker’s dozen.
    
    300,000 L x 2/1.8 = 333,333 L
    
    Therefore:-
    333,333 L / 2 (10-3) L [vial] = 166,666,500 vials
    
    So the manufacturer has to produce 333,333 L of vaccine and bottle it into 166,666,500 vials to produce 1 billion doses of vaccine.
    
    Just 4 factories running 24/7 need to make 83,333 L in total each and bottle that into 41,666,625 vials. If it took 1 year to make that many, then each factory would need to produce 228.3 liters of vaccine a day, and bottle that into 114,155 vials a day. A reasonable Coke bottling factory could handle that, why do you think a company like Pfizer with a purpose-built factory and plant, for example, couldn’t?

    IMO, it’s a control mechanism. Look no further than countries using the most draconian measures to control their populations in the name of Covid eg Germany, Austria, Canada, America, New Zealand and Australia (in Qld, Vic, WA, SA and ACT) to name a few.
    What do all these places have in common? I would suggest Socialist Govts with Control Freaks in charge and little or no expertise in managing economies.
    Extrapolating from the above, what will the ultimate result be? IMO, a Global Financial Crisis the likes of which no living person has experienced.
    Then, step in and take charge none other than that cesspit of Socialist dictators, the UN. Then what do we get? A world without borders, a one-world Govt and ………
    There are already UN Mandates in place and agreed in one way or another for Mandate Implementation.
    Then, the Man-Made Global Warming scam will also have served its purpose and fade into insignificance. Its followers will have done their job and be suitably rewarded by the UN.

    I don’t have any of the default vax passport IDs so I need to get my alternative ID checked by a RealMe agent.
    
    Took time off work midweek to go to local AA office – after 20 mins queuing, RealMe has crashed indefinitely – give up.
    
    Queuing again first thing Saturday morning. AA guy comes out and points to person five spots ahead of me and says about there is two hours away. Don’t have two hours spare, give up.
    
    So, despite having obligingly suffered the underlying substantive physical indignity of vaccination, it appears I’m still required to pretty much elevate the most facile bureaucratic act of rubber stamping to, at the very least a committed pastime, if not a full time job.

    Morry45, bit late to this, and many of the salient points have already been raised. I can’t find evidence of a single, coordinated conspiracy here, but rather disparate sets of powerful people leveraging the situation for their own ends. They include: –
    
    Western leaders: Mostly Marxist in world view and for them this is a great opportunity to strengthen their grip on power and to start to dismantle some of the democratic principles that have proven so pesky at having them thrown from office after screwing economies and peoples lives while working hard to strengthening their positions a the ruling elite. The problem we face as they get replaced by people who are still Marxist, but more agreeably so. Rinse and repeat.
    
    WHO: Sick of playing second fiddle to the IPCC in the game of advancing the UN’s very publicly stated aim of becoming an unelected global government thereby neutering state sovereignty.
    
    Fauci, Gates et al: These guys have been donkey-deep in this mess, and not in a constructive way. Fauci name is listed on 4 patents for a key glycoprotein (GP120) that is found in SARS-CoV-2, but no other coronaviruses. As for Gates, his vaccine efforts have been killing poor rural people in India and parts of Africa.
    
    Big Pharma: Have looked enviously at the technology industry’s assumption of global dominance, and have lusted after a subscription revenue model
    
    ‘Experts’: A motley crew of assorted scientific wannabe’s who see their opportunity for some prime time. Given license to make outlandish predictions with no accountability because their paymasters in WHO, Big Pharma and state leaders need a fearful population for their aspirations to be advanced.
    
    In terms of where it will head, I see a couple of scenarios: –
    1. If the masses sit idly by and tacitly support these government interventions, then we will see emergence of a digital social credit and payment system; or,
    2. If the masses rise up and reject these interventions, demanding a complete unwinding of the diktat-driven policy world that has been foisted on us, then we might get some semblance of civil democracy back.

        I too began with what I called a “confluence of interest” theory as I see most drivers of social change in that light.
        I could easily imagine Pharma executives planning a marketing initiative based on fear. I could imagine big investors piling on, politicians recognising a wonderful opportunity to wipe the slate clean under the guise of a natural disaster or actually buying into the fear, security agencies recognising a business opportunity, Law Enforcement seeing an opportunity for their Holy Grail – permanent and universal tracking etc. etc. The Media’s role is easy to understand – since Clinton it has been made available to manipulation by the investor classes.
        It has gone on too long however. The fact that the “vaccines” don’t provide immunity and increasingly appear to be hazardous does indeed make a nonsense out of discriminatory measures such as vaccine passports and mandates.
        So why persist?
        There does seem to be something behind the curtain. Melissa Cuimmei’s explanation is one of the better theories.
        There are others of course. One could see it as simply the consequence of the invention of the calculator.
        The almost religious faith in artificial intelligence is misplaced. Computer modelling of something with an infinite number of variables such as human behaviour (or the behaviour of a virus) is simply junk. There is a widespread misconception that computers can think. They cannot. They can only calculate.

  I think this is a massive stock clearing exercise.
  
  It is looking more and more like the vaccine is less effective on Delta and even less effective still on Omicron – then likely even less effective on the next (if there is one). Pfizer needs to tweak the recipe to handle the Omicron changes.
  
  That means Pfizer is now sitting on a lot of stock that is now obsolete. They will want to clear that stock. The only way to do that is to double down on vax.

    These variants do seem to be following the long-accepted trend with viruses, that they lose their deadliness, even as possibly they become more transmissible. There has been numerous viruses in the past in human history that did not stay around forever, mutating into ever more deadly forms and of course, killing off all of humanity, and no vaccine technology existed either.
    
    Every single one has mutated itself into some kind of endemic, latent, co-existent form; and a dance with human immune systems occurred meanwhile. It is a question how well we really understand this.
    
    But with Covid, we are expected to believe endless speculative alarmism that flies in the face of all past experience and orthodox knowledge. Each new variant could be the Doomsday one! Natural immunity is useless! Only needles can save us!
    
    Experts and non-experts alike, who are insisting on these “unorthodoxies”, cannot possibly be in good faith. The era we are in, is “The Great Gaslighting”. The progressives, the globalists – their modus operandi is to enforce belief in lies. This is how they operate in everything, not just Covid. The way humanity falls into various categories in responding to it, is something we have seen before in the history of totalitarian movements.

    I was very surprised that our Government did a big push to just have a 3 week space between the 2 vaccinations.
    
    All the data indicates that better immunity is gained with a longer period between vax 1 and vax 2…
    
    ‘The larger interval is also consistent with the advice from the COVID Technical Advisory Group (CVTAG) for an extended interval between doses.

        Not sure how you think South Africa comes into it, but then I don’t quite know how the criminal mind works.
        
        But since you brought up South Africa…
        
        South Africa has approx 24% fully vaccinated – though likely a bit higher in cities and approx 30% in Soweto.
        
        Since around 1/3 of the people in Baragwanath hospital (Soweto) with Omicron are vaccinated, it looks like the vaccine isn’t working on Omicron.

      They started with using the 3-week gap between doses, because that’s the protocol used in the Phase III trials.
      
      Then, in about July/August, they recommended extending that to an 8-12 week gap, because the ongoing medical research showed that gives a stronger immune response.
      
      Then, once Delta got established here, they went back to the original 3-week recommendation because although that doesn’t give quite as strong a protection it does get a lot more people fully vaccinated faster. Sensibly prioritising a lot of good vs a little bit of perfect.
      
      AFAIK we have no imminent problem with Pfizer vaccine here going past its use-by date.

        And yes, Covid is statistically more serious than polio. Polio is so mild that more than 95% of people infected by it don’t even know they’ve ever had it. The images we remember of kids in iron lungs, or with withered limbs, are actually statistically rare cases. Less than 1% of polio infections led to any form of paralysis, most of those cleared in within 30 days, and about 2% of that 1% died. The US’s worst year for polio (1952) saw 58,000 reported cases, and 3,145 deaths. In 70 years about 110,000 Americans died of polio.
        
        So far the US records nearly 50 million cases of Covid and about 800,000 deaths, in less than 24 months.

  It seems while the vaccine wains in efficacy 5 – 6 months after reaching its full potency, it still for some considerable time prevents you from developing serious illness or needing hospitalisation if you catch the virus in the interim.
  And that would seem to be an option, were it to happen: that the vaccine protects you to survive an actual covid infection that would then give you a degree of natural immunity.
  
  An initial suggestion that natural immunity was best (‘natural’, eh?), was only true if you survived that first on onslaught you’d be OK, but if you didn’t it would become a dead issue. Now the vaccine could make a better bet.
  Is anyone doing any helpful research on that scenario? Is it not a duty of “protection” (even under Article 3 of the Treaty) that the Crown do such research, or accumulate such knowledge as is available on it? How long does ‘natural immunity’ last, compared to the vaccine?
  
  Or does that scenario not fit Ardern’s agenda? (on the edge of a conspiracy, huh?)

    Seeing so many Covid infections are asymptomatic or mild, it is obviously perfectly possible to achieve natural immunity at no risk of death. The experts just need to accept the mechanism by which infections are more or less severe. This is the dose of aerosols one inhales.
    
    I have lost the link now, but more than a year ago, a couple of researchers proposed that people should deliberately “cohort with” others who have a confirmed Covid infection but have passed the crucial “shedding” stage. They rightly called this “passive inoculation”.
    
    The reason lockdowns are so spectacularly unsuccessful is that they forego the abundant mild and asymptomatic transmission in normal everyday life that with pandemics in the past, conferred herd immunity invisibly or nearly so, in most. This process is what we should be tracking with the new hyper sensitive PCR technology, instead of going into a hysterical panic about every single “case”.

        – Southern USA in summer -> people stay indoors for the AC. Result, Covid-19 cases increase. Fall and Winter arrive they go outside as the heat eases to mild temperatures. Result, Covid-19 cases drop.

        Tom Hunter has beaten me to it – but I have been saying this repeatedly for a long time. Anything that keeps people indoors with the outdoors air excluded, creates perfect Covid aerosol-spread conditions indoors. As Tom says, this can be severe heat, just as much as cold.
        
        It is airconditioning that makes the difference between hot weather in rich societies and hot weather in poor societies. This is why most of Africa has got off quite lightly in Covid. The MSM does beat up some exceptional locations like Johannesburg where it gets very cold and dry – dry = perfect Covid conditions too.
        
        NZ – to repeat myself for the thousandth time on this blog – is humid, windy, has high UV, high ozone, relatively mild range of temperatures, low air pollution, and a predominant housing type that inherently “breathes”, unlike the masonry housing that predominates in some parts of the world.
        
        I have said for a long time that even our coldest weather won’t produce Bergamo or NYC outcomes; and even our hottest weather won’t produce Southern USA outcomes. During our balmiest weather, expect Covid to be a non-event. It certainly got here from China by January 2020 and we didn’t even notice it. It is a big fat politically expedient lie that Jacinda acting hard’n’early in March 2020, “saved us from Neil Ferguson-computer-model levels of death”.
        
        My distress at the sheer avoidable stupidity in all this, over so long a period now, is literally wrecking my health. Just more collateral damage – for many it is absurdly unnecessary hysteria about the virus – for others who still have a mind and use it, it is endless distress at what we see and others won’t.

        There actually is serious transmission in the vaccinated around the world, what rock have you been hiding under? Maybe not admitted in NZ, but that would be a measure of the sheer manipulative dishonesty of our data-providing agencies. Furthermore, these outbreaks of serious transmission correlate with lifting of restrictions, so it is unproven that the vaccine ever was providing real protection. People going back to all-night raves when they are allowed to, 6 months after they got the jab, and getting infected, does not mean they wouldn’t have got infected if they went to an all-night rave 1 month after the jab – they just weren’t allowed to back then.
        
        I believe Prof. John Gibson of Waikato University has a paper submitted for publication, that proves this from multi-country data. Covid infections rising again correlates with Google mobility data (as a proxy for people returning to normal life), and the vaccination data, population proportion, timing of vaccination, etc is statistically irrelevant.

      Now about now I reckon you may want to retract that ‘remains open to debate’ and insert inflict tyranny on the hapless masses, or take control…or something. Because I suspect you have rather inadvertently stumbled on the truth. The whole covid episode wasn’t planned (at least by us). We are merely respondents. The response has been an almighty effort to protect lives and businesses and health systems and do so using methods pretty standard across the western world. It is a dislocation of society and it’s mechanisms few (none?) alive have experienced.
      
      Problem is, we are walking backwards into the future. Our past provides our way marks and reference points. They are all we can see and we navigate as a society accordingly, sometimes bumping, sometimes crashing into obstacles we didn’t, couldn’t see.
      
      Could they/we have done it better? Undoubtedly. Have we been hamstrung by political factionalism, the quality of our actors, maybe our very democratic system, when maybe a unified approach was warranted? Sure. Is there a coalition of resistance to policy (however dissimilar their messages) growing? Absolutely. Has anybody got a proposal how to order our response so that it reflects our needs and our democracy that isn’t this method? Put it on the table.
      
      But lets not have any of that. We have a fish to fry and we are sprinkling it with various condiments and seasonings. Tyranny, socialism, intellectual superiority, clarity of observation, Nuremberg Codes, Fauci’s gain of function, Cindy, Q, all put on the grill with great dollops of fear and anger. At which point all we have to do is make sure the heat goes on.
      
      And best of all, a smug, rank superiority that imagines perhaps “there [is] something in the mental make-up of the 15% or so of people that can see it all quite clearly”

  Conclusion, being vaccinated has zero effect on all cause mortality for individuals. So if there is an effect protecting one against Covid, there is a negative impact on other causes, probably through the negative impact that the vaccination has on the immune system for a period. Important in this analysis is the identification of the classification of deaths of people who die within 14 days of either jab as being unvaccinated. Thus there is a very visible spike in deaths amongst the unvaccinated in the 14 day period after the vaccine is administered, with the explanation that this is the recording of deaths of those who have been vaccinated less than 14 days.
  
  With the change applied, the all causes mortality rates for vaccinated and unvaccinated is statistically no different for all ages.
  
  In the comments to the three, there is also the note that a thorough analysis of the original data Pfizer used to get emergency approval for the vaccine actually shows no statistically valid reduction in all cause mortality either, with both the vaccinated and the control group having the same outcome within the uncertainties.
  
  Obviously needs additional analysis to confirm, but if true (love that phrase, big if true) it blows the entire Covid response almost worldwide right out of the water.
  
  Second note, and I need to locate the reference, but a meta study of 400 studies into non-pharmaceutical responses to Covid (lockdowns etc) shows that one of them have had any positive effect, and most when measured in general welfare terms are net negative, some highly so.
  
  Is this why free speech is so closely suppressed these days. To prevent sensible discussions of alternatives to the current narrative.

  The high-quality data says the Pfizer vaccine should have 3 doses, not the 2 used in the original Phase III trials. People under age of 30 might get away with only 2 doses, but over 30s should have 3.
  
  The 3rd shot isn’t about restoring waning immunity, but rather it’s about increasing the immune response beyond what the 2nd shot ever delivered.   That’s not unusual. Diptheria, pertussis and tetanus require *6* vaccinations, starting in pregnancy. Polio needs 4. Hep B takes 3 jabs. A 3-dose primary vaccination series isn’t unusual at all.
  
  AFAIK neither the pharmas or medical researchers are arguing for annual boosters, let alone 3-monthly. With Pfizer it does look like 3 shots and you’re done.
  
  That said, I could see an ongoing annual shot to “update” your immunity for any new variants. That annual update would likely be folded into the influenza shot.

Or Willie Jackson (again) or Kelvin Davis recusing themselves from any Parliamentary matter – and that would be about everything – for being a self-conflicted Maori, or indeed any other non-Maori member for just that too: for being non-Maori. Or the media – fourth estate turned fifth column – for uttering anything without acknowledging their $55 million State funding through NZ ON AIR?

  Why should anyone apologize for being successful? Do people not understand that wealth does not come easy. I’ve never met a millionaire who is not a workaholic with a phone ringing all day long. Stories of working 16 hour days, 7 days a week, for months in a row and regret for not spending enough time with their kids during the important years of when they were young seem to be a common thread with them. It is not a lifestyle I’d aspire for my kids, if anything it is more an addiction to work and having no life at all. I’ve never met a multi millionaire who has just had a 9 to 5 job all their lives. Their the busiest people I know and I hate calling them in case their busy and I disrupt them.
  Also with Luxtons Remuera mansion going up in value; um does anyone know who has been in power the last 4 years? He could really capitalize on this and use it as a way to highlight government failure. I wish he would, we’d never hear about his houses again.

I’ve said before that we appear to be repeating history, in that these covid times look very much the same recipe that was used against the Russia, Chinese and German peoples in their leadup to their revolutions/wars in the early to mid 20th century.

The psychological conditioning we are experiencing is called mass formation psychosis. Some here have also mentioned the same phenomena. Unless you want NZ (and the rest of the world) to fall into this condition, you should at least become familiar with the condition and how it works. If you decide after doing that it’s not happening and these last two years are just a completely rational response to a deadly pandemic, that’s fine. At least you’ve made up your mind based on facts. If you dismiss it out of hand you’re potentially condemning yourself and your family to a life of boot-stamping-on-face-forever from which you and they will never, ever escape. Because unlike those other three times, this time, no country will come to save us, there are no countries powerful enough to resist the rest of the group of countries who are all succumbing to this condition.

    On what basis could you possibly support a blanket ban on prescribing Ivermectin to those who want it ? It is incredibly safe, far safer for example than the vaccines, and even if it has no positive effect, it is dirt cheap and is extremely unlikely to do any harm. Safe of course using the correct human formulation and dosage levels, but any drug is “dangerous” if improperly dosed; the extremely widely available Panadol has a far worse safety record than Ivermectin for example, yet one can buy a lethal dose of Panadol from a supermarket with zero supervision.
    
    So banning it is simply maintaining the narrative.

      I also am unaware of why Ivermectin is banned if that’s actually the case. As you say all medicines have potential to harm in very rare instances. Unlike probably all others the massive global application of the vaccine over a short period under massive scrutiny has yielded results categorically confirming the very high safety standard observed in pre release trials.

Under new rules all those travelling to America from 6 December must provide a negative result from a Covid test taken less than 24 hours before departure. Previously 72 hours. Plus be fully vaxxed. No quarantine required on arrival.

Getting test results here within 24 hours ……

I remember when

If you have lost a traffic cone then it would be an idea to look on the highway between Levin and Otaki.
Apparently it is SH1, but it is so heavily disguised it is impossible to recognise it as being a one anything.
All you can do as you view the motorway extensions at Otaki is close you eyes and dream of a much better future.

      Scroll down to Fact Sheet 10, then to “What has changed?”. Firstly, enforcement officers (EOs) are authorised (by the Commissioner of Police). Secondly, roadblocks and checkpoints are set up by the Police: the authorised EOs assist the Police (not the other way round), and act under the supervision of a constable.
      
      Also, see “How will this impact you?”: “If the enforcement officer stops you, they will be required to show you their identification.” That implies they will identify themselves every time, without having to be asked to do so. In addition, “Police will retain decision making powers and enforcement officers will be acting under the direction and supervision of a constable at all times.”
      
      Notice also, that it is stated that EOs will “do an initial review of exemption documentation, […].” To me, that means that occupants of a vehicle only have to show their ‘exemption documentation’ (separately, or via the driver) to the EO — they do not have to hand them / their phone over to the EO. If the EO insists on actually being given the documentation / phone, then the occupants are within their rights to request that the constable be called over to sort the matter out.

  COVID-19 Public Health Response Amendment Bill (No 2)
  12 Section 22 amended (Power to close roads and public places and stop vehicles)
  (1) In section 22(2), replace ““authority”” with ““supervision””.
  (2) After section 22(3), insert:
  (3A) For the purpose of enforcing or monitoring compliance with a COVID-19 order that restricts movement by persons with or without vehicles, a constable may stop a vehicle persons and vehicles at any road block or checkpoint established for that purpose.
  (3) After section 22(4), insert:
  (5) An enforcement officer may also stop a vehicle persons and vehicles for the purpose stated in subsection (3A) if acting under the supervision of a constable.
  (6) For the purpose of subsection (5) only, enforcement officer means a person authorised in accordance with section 18 who is—
  (a) a member of the Armed Forces (as defined in section 2(1) of the Defence Act 1990):
  (b) any person whom the Commissioner recognises as being—
  (i) a Māori warden; or
  (ii) a nominated representative of an iwi organisation; or
  (iii) a Pasifika warden; or
  (iv) a community patroller.
  (7) Section 18 applies with any necessary modifications for the purpose of subsection (6)

The trust in science has been exploited by the global warming people and now the CV19 pushers. As the science gets increasingly exposed as sloppy this will no doubt lead to further distrust in science.

Unfortunately all science will be tarred by the same brush.

    “Real” scientist here. Yes, I am deeply depressed, but there is a fight-back going on.
    
    The Royal Society is coming under a lot of pressure from its membership over its ‘investigation’ of two of its Fellows (one of whom – Garth Cooper – is Maori) for being signatories to the Listener letter seeking to defend NCEA science from incorporating Maori spiritualism. Many teachers are also pushing back against the Ministry of Education on this matter.
    
    The fight is far from won and the forces arrayed against us are formidable, but resistance is mounting. I urge all citizens of New Zealand who want children in this country to have a proper scientific education to have a look at the proposed standards for yourselves and, if you don’t like what you see, make your voices heard to the Minister for Education, the Ministry, your children’s schools and teachers and your friends and family.

  Science is about uncertainty and the limitations of human knowledge – which is why real scientists, schooled in Popperism come across as diffident whereas those “scientists™” wheeled out to advance political agendas come across as certain in their conclusions and invoke the secular
  equivalent of Papal infallibility
  
  Our real problem here is that politicians are convinced that their policies are for the greater good and firmly close their eyes to the collateral damage they cause
  
  This of course is why communism ultimately failed – when theoretical utopias failed to materialize instead of examining the flaws in their grand schemes they blamed people who they deemed to have sabotaged their dream by not co-operating
  
  An example might be the Soviet famines of the early thirties – according to “Science” as defined by Lysenko farmers could grow two crops of wheat per year by early planting, in the real world both plantings failed and instead of doubling wheat production they created a famine.
  
  And of course it was the farmers who were to blame and who were punished for this failure

      Yep, it’s a looong code of random Key letters – starts with NZCP: EYTUBGGHDTRDHGHJVKB ETC ETC.
      Looks like a key of some sort, that will interact with a Private key held in the Web Reader App. Without the Private key, I believe it cannot be changed or falsified. Given the fcuk ups this lot are known for, expect the Private Key to be leaked at some stage.
      Check with cmm, he knows a lot about these things.

What I noticed was how distressed I felt, how anxious I felt on Friday. It was a change in the atmosphere. Did anyone else feel it?

Previously we were about equality and everyone having a fair go in life and the chance for everyone to do well. Now we have two classes of people. They were hounded and arrested and sent to prison camps and shot. Just for the crime of being a Kulak. They were the enemy of the revolution!

It appears both fascists and socialists need a devil, they need an enemy. Today we are led by a socialist and we have an enemy, the wicked Unvaxed!

  Do you mean the staff who are already vaccinated? Yet again, no one can justify the illogic of vaccination to keep someone else “safe,” particularly when even the vaccinated person is not “safe” either.
  
  Moreover, I think you’ll find that it is the employer who decides whether to opt for vaccine verification. If they decide this, then I think it’s perfectly reasonable to have to pay out 4 weeks pay before the employee has their contract terminated because of the employer’s decision.

  From my limited understanding, pre-Omicron shows up on 3 PCR markers and Omicron on only two.

Just wanted to point out to those on here who think that you have to be obese to get type 2 diabetes, that is incorrect. You can have a normal BMI and still have the condition. So you need to understand that those with t2 or pre diabetic condition, may not have got it because ‘they deserve it’ because they are obese and ate crap food. Studies in the UK have shown this.

Leading on from this, people with T2 diabetes, may find themselves with severe covid effects should they contract it. Just wanted to get rid of the ‘they got what they deserve from being obese and should lose weight’ mentality running on this blogsite.

  What’s obesity? The relationship between the body weight and height in metres squared and expressed as BMI. If it’s over 30 one is classed as “obese”. But…does it take into account the structure of the body such as bone thickness or muscular structure and distribution? No, it does not. Furthermore the value of 30 is entirely arbitrary.

  While you can get type 2 obesity without being obese, obesity is a major cause of type 2 diabetes – just not the only cause.
  
  Same too with smoking and lung cancer – it is possible to get lung cancer without smoking and it is possible to smoke without getting lung cancer, but smoking vastly increases your chance of getting lung cancer.

    It is ridiculous to think of BMI as something that turns on at BMI 30 and off at BMI 29.99.
    
    Rather think of it as a scale:
    * some people really are obese at 30, some are still reasonably health. At 30, the health impact of obesity is rather low.
    * but a mega-fatty with a BMI of 45+ is a completely different story. There’s no way you’re going to be BMI 45+ and healthy.

I’d like to just throw my support for the new vaccination roll-out. It’s time to discuss the merits of Compulsory Vaccinations for five to eleven year olds.

No reasonable person would dispute this is a great idea.

But what about the ‘vaxxine-hesitant’? You know those pesky parents (sorry – ‘caregivers) who appear to think it is their role to nurture and protect their children?

The best way to get it done though would be to freeze parents’ bank-accounts, or fine them until they comply, or withhold benefits, Working for Families, and such.

At the same time, if they illegally withdraw their children from schools, a Special Health Officer could visit door to door and with the assistance of a Special Constable, detain the parents while this is undertaken.

This wouls also mean that those who chose ‘home-schooling’ for whatever reasons, could be captured and made ‘safe’.

Yes, know. I’m just a loopy ‘conspiracy theorist’.

That could never happen here, could it?

But it it did, it was a good thing they got all those legal guns confiscated, eh?

    To me, if you were “coerced” then that means (1) you weren’t convinced on the facts of vaccination, which by themselves should be compelling to all but the obstinate, and (2) you’re spineless in that you don’t have the strength of your convictions but folded under pressure.

I remember when

Hanmer Springs staff shorages highlight the problems a lot of tourism businesses are facing.
Lack of younmg travellers on OE who usually fill these positions. In Hanmer Springs they account for at least 50% of the workforce.
Lack of acommodation to handle the staff that are available.
The hiring of staff is further influenced by possible changing alert levels, during the season.

  Yes, this happened to the NZ Doctors Speaking Out with Science group in August. I couldn’t work out why it was diverting to a government website full of “the vaccine is safe” information. For a few weeks I thought they had shut down the website, but I then realised when I used my cell (using data not home WiFi), I could get to the proper site. So we had to set up a VPN and use DuckDuck Go not Google. Now I don’t get blocked from all the “misinformation” being put out by doctors, mathmaticians and scientists around the world actually looking at the data.

  The QR code on the vaccine pass contains the data stating that you’re vaccinated, the phones used to scan the pass don’t need to report back to MoH for this data and the phones can be used without an internet connection.

There have been blogs here about it before but is it a total rort.
The test for the full driving licence.
I have heard of two drivers failing three test between them.
Almost invariably involving a “Stop” sign and usually that question of whether the vehicle came to a stop of not.
Great research seems to be done to involve a “Stop” of a type they will never, ever, encounter again.
The “fail” almost always involves “you drove very well,” but – I have to fail you because of that one technicality.

Never mind it’s only money and more employment opportunities for the staff.

I have been reading the Stuff articles on Chris Luxon this week and have observed some interesting behaviour from the moderators. For example, the Luke Malpass article today there were early comments about yesterdays poll that have been removed. Some quite thoughtful comments about Chris Luxon have been removed. We end up with a lot of fairly juvenile National suck type comments. So multiple layers of moderating weeding out comments that aren’t pro Labour.

Not sure if this has appeared on the site anywhere in the last couple of days, but if it has it is worth repeating.

I got an email yesterday from the tax payers union asking for help with their stop 3 waters banner campaign. The idea is to build on the TV and other media they have done by festooning the countryside with fairly large banners in order to keep the issue in front of people over the summer. They are look for either people to volunteer a site or pay for a banner or possibly both depending on how visible your dwelling is. A banner ( 2.4m by 1.2 m so not trivial ) is $124 and change. I have paid for one.

If they can get a thousand or two of these around the nation it will, if nothing else, annoy the hell out of Labour MPs.

  Having said that I’d love to see us with: a Navy of four new(ish) frigates, decent troop transport ships, a serious air anti-sub capacity; Army with anti-tank, anti-air/missile/artillery systems; Air Force air support in the form of C-130 Herc gunships, and decent air transport, etc. Zero chance of any of that.

  At the start of WWII my father, having previously belonged to the Territorials, set off for North Africa & return to NZ late 1945.
  He said a lot of guys weren’t so much interested in their patriotic duty so much as the adventure. He told if NZ was ever involved in a war again there’d never be any problem getting blokes to sign up for the same reasons.
  NZ used to have a base in Singapore specifically as an enticement to get people interested in joining up.

    Yes, men signed up for adventure in 1914 and 1939, although some learnt from previous experience so they had to introduce conscription.
    My grandfather volunteered in ww2, although it cost him a lot of money in lost business. He was always bitter about those who skived off and made a lot of money and avoided the war as a result. There was a guy down the road who was a black market peddler and illegal bookie who did very nicely.
    Would today’s generation volunteer like that for adventure, to travel the world to interestingplaces and people, and blow 5hem up? I don’t think so, as we are more experienced in travel, with more information on the world. It does not have the mystique as it did for a farm worker from a provincial town 8n 1914 or 1939.
    Thanks to movies and TV news, the horror of war is better known. It was nightly tv reporting in glorious colors of the Vietnam War that was largely responsible for turning the home front against the war. The US army made damn sure that mistake wasn’t repeated in the gulf war in 1991, and had a lot more control over journalists in Afghanistan and Iraq.

    But did you see that the government has mandated that any worker who REFUSES to be vaccinated, must be paid ‘at least 4-weeks wages’ when they are terminated?
    
    We know of at least one restaurant owner that is facing a 40K payout!!
    He’s been closed for the last three months and bleeding some real serious cash.

Our State television behaving like Soviet Central Television?

On TV1 news tonight, calls were nade for New Zealand bookshops to stop selling books from Tross Publishing.

These seem to be titles giving an alternative view of the Treaty of Waitangi and its ramifications, and other Maori issues.

The broadcast blasted questioning of He Puapua, which backs a goal of the Maori minority (about 16 per cent) 50:50 running the country with majority citizens by 2040.

Today was the first time in my 74 years that I felt discriminated against. Other than go to a grocery store or a pharmacy I am no longer allowed to go anywhere else or do anything else. All because I am not willing to subject myself to an experimental vaccine that can only legally be called a vaccine by the FDA changing the definition of “vaccine”.

The “vaccine” that won’t actually protect you from catching the Covid19 virus or passing it on. The “vaccine” that requires you to get booster shot after booster shot and might not actually work against the next variant.

The vaccine that doesn’t kill the virus and allows it to coexist with your vaccine possibly making it more immune to vaccines and prevent your natural body defenses from creating natural immunity to the virus.

  Mitre10 will still welcome you. Needed to pick something up yesterday so had to go into town, was pretty quite, airily quite, the mall next door looks quite, all very bizarre for a late Saturday afternoon, much quite than it was a week ago.
