Other countries -Italy, France, Greece – have mandated vaccine passports for indoor venues, bars, restaurants, nightclubs etc.

They too have created classes of the ‘have shots’ and ‘shots have not,’ restricting the latters access to facilities, so what our Government is doing aint new or revolutionary.

To call it apartheid is an insult to all the people who suffered in South Africa from decades of repression because of their skin colour.

Ardern earned the Plank because she answered a question honestly.

Q: ‘Does it mean vaccinated people get more rights than unvaccinated?’

A: ‘That’s what it is, yes.’

Spot on: People who don’t get vaccinated will loose rights of access to a whole swag of things.

  What should matter during this pandemic is immunity status, not vax status. People who have acquired immunity due to a prior Covid infection don’t need to be vaccinated. They’ve already been vaccinated – by mother nature. And you want these same people who have more robust immunity and pose a lower risk than the vaxxed to be treated like second-class, disease-carrying social lepers.
  
  That is the power of propaganda, folks. The power to warp someone’s mind, corrupt their ethics, destroy their humanity.

    If immunity can be established in those people I see the argument for them being exempted. Also I support alternative vaccines for those who are anti Pfizer.

    Some things to ask them:
    * HTF they think that is voluntary? Do they understand what the word means?
    * How do they justify this on a legal basis? It is taxpayer funded. It is not private property.
    * Do they claim this is a health and safety issue? If so, who did the assessment? Do they have trained medical staff on their payroll or did someone just wave their clipboard?

    I’d take exception to the definition of apartheid being ” a former policy of segregation and political, social, and economic discrimination against the nonwhite majority in the Republic of South Africa”
    
    It was a policy against EVERYONE. Much is made about black people being kicked off their land, but fewer people realise that white people were kicked off their land too!
    
    Likewise, it the anti-unvaccinated policies are not polices that just impact unvaccinated. They impact EVERYONE.
    
    PS: I am not shilling for apartheid or being an apartheid apologist. I am trying to get this framed accurately.

  It is revolutionary, it is being done by many countries, doesn’t make it ethical, moral or good.

Something that Americans just don’t get, the idea that a politician is so dissatisfied with the way the questions are going they orhcestrate a move to a more controlled environment.

But as DPF said a few days ago, we don’t want to become like Americans (or the Plank of the Week Brits), strident and condemnatory in our public debate.

Yes, we do. Hammer the shits. Everything good and right about our culture is at stake. A little harsh language is the least we can do.

I often take a reading of the number of comments various posts attract here on KB. (It’s a hobby).

This post is interesting because it has failed to attract more than 50 responses – even amongst the political saddoes I am content to be part of.

In my view, this is significant for Ardern, in that even a post illustrating her various shortcomings is attracting interest.

The literal worse fate that can befall any politician is when people are so over them, they don’t even excite outrage anymore.

This is where she is right now.
