  Nothing Andrea Vance writes is “worth reading”…she is a relentless enemy of the right of politics. Anything positive in that piece is her holding her nose and writing something which supposedly demonstrates her balance.

    They are all so up them selves they would make tedious issue daily over writing being fun – or fun being writing.
    
    Up until the point the public got so bored with them – they would refuse to pay – and their places of work would go broke – and they would all then receive welfare payments!

      Blackbob: Yes indeed…After meeting and talkinging to him on a few occasions I never much rated Dunne…but I never thought he was dumb enough to think that conniving bitch was actually interested in him…proof I guess that there’s no fool like an old one.

    It’s positive because Stanford is a female and in intersectionality world that these cretins inhabit, her gender can mitigate her poor choice in politics, of which is further reinforced in the article by her inferring that Stanford wants the system changed (bad patriarcal westminister system) and works with two other females in the green and labour parties, for me it’s the sisterhood looking after one another.
    Stanford is a hard worker and solid, but doesn’t have the spine nor vision for leadership. A Snr minister is her best hope and that might be a stretch. My hunch is she is a bit of a lightweight. But she is a centrist, liberal female so the media will root for her as the best of a bad bunch on the right.

      You’re spot on with the first point pdm; she has done a fantastic job representing families separated by Faafoi’s indifference and apathy. On the second point, it probably doesn’t take a lot to make Faafoi look incompetent, to be fair 😉

  Erica is my local MP. My kids went to school with her so I got know the family. They are good people. Erica is real leadership material even at this stage. She would easily take Cindy on. No comparison with their intellectual abilities. Cindy is a lite weight.

Was all sounding so good untill she supported school climate strikes. Then you realise she is another patron of “the swamp”.

Media grooming her to try yet again attempt to remove Collins. She’s woke enough to be accepted to media as they sense wheels falling off Labour beyond their control to cover up.

From the article, Erica’s preference for positioning as the brains behind the leadership, is commendable in it’s focus of making things happen, but am less comfortable that some of her ideals at least appear as though they could be said to fall into the category of ‘woke’, much like Christopher Luxton’s [Luxon’s]. Whereas a party is needed that is dead set on one nation called New Zealand, one team, one law for all.

  Not so sure you are right about Luxon, much like Key, when he became leader he was driven by what was right for the country, not just leftie bullshit, every time i have heard Luxon speak, i have yet to hear him suggest his leftie ideas, Erica sadly is great potential, but she is an out and out greenie, i am worried about that, she will have to put that aside, or Nats will only lose more support

    I can not see how that Act have taken support from Nats for quite some time, Nats were 28% in this weeks poll, 3 % higher than they were on election night, from what i can see, they are only taking support from the rotten Labour party, as they are the only parliamentary party that to lose votes from election night is Labour, some 13 seats from what i can see

National will stay around the 30% mark until they come out with policy that clearly defines a difference between National and Labour! A difference that is not merely ‘we will repeal’ a Labour policy/law but something that has a clear line in the sand from Labour and decidedly right of political spectrum otherwise ACT will just continue to canniblise National voters and if they cannot sway Labours soft voters then 2023 is Labours for the taking.
(Although maybe Arden not leader, she doesn’t do well, mentally, when not adored)

I have spoken with her a few times about an issue. She is hard working and very well informed, is quite reserved but strong, and one if the stronger National MPs. She is the de facto Minister of Immigration since Faafoi has checked out and no longer bothers. She’ll make a good deputy.
