The one not on billboards yet but will have the biggest impact is the zero net carbon (dioxide). They are relying on unicorns and fairy dust technology, people accepting a massive drop in their standard of living and utilities like electricity being rationed. Can you see people accepting that? Me neither.

    I once sat John Key down in my office and explained the science of it to him. I.e. the fact that carbon dioxide would continue to increase but its effect on the temperature would be minimal from now on.
    He seemed to understand it, but of course this is a political business, not a scientific one, so even if they understand the truth, they will be too frightened to admit it.

As well as Three Waters, there is recentralisation of the DHBs and the government playing a bigger part in Electricity generation. Seems the answer to everything is State control. Who would have guessed that was the policy they want to implement.

    Disagree redeye – it is the DHB’s , not the MOH according to Hippy and St Ash.
    I’m fully vaxxed as I happen to live in a DHB area that knows what it is doing and not being “disconnected” by the MOH. MOH /Minister is the only place there is a disconnect!

Judith wants Jacinda Ardern to own these policy’s and will not stop until she has proved the point and National as a whole have to stand with her and ram home the point as this is in my opinion the only way to change those who back Jacinda at the polls will realize how dangerous she is for New Zealand .
Jacinda Ardern will pass the buck as soon as the going gets tough and will try anythink to wriggle free if National can convince others that this is her agenda , led by her , for her and any accolades that go with it.
You watch when the going gets tough and she starts to lose the argument it will be other Ministers fault before her own and the blame will be passed on.

    I wonder if Jacinda Ardern and the Minister of Police were aware that quite a few women don’t trust Mr Tam.
    
    Tam was stood down as the Royal Commission’s head of policy and research in June last year, after RNZ revealed a female state abuse survivor contacted the inquiry with safety fears. Other female survivors had also expressed concerns because of gang involvement in the inquiry’s process.
    
    An independent inquiry was ordered into the allegations but its scope and subsequent findings have never been made public.
    
    The Royal Commission has confirmed to RNZ that Tam no longer works for the inquiry but the circumstances surrounding the end of his employment remain a mystery.

That’s nothing new as I’ve raised the issue here on several occasions where nothing is said during an election campaign, and then immediately afterwards Labour and Green’s MP’s race to the private members box to place in bills that the public received little knowledge of. Prostitution, smacking and gay marriage are the 3 standout bills. And National never complained about that!!!!!!

Quite clearly this is now a case of — when it suits National to complain and make hay!!!!!

Can you see now David why people are continuously pissed with Labour lite?

It’s like the “Judith is a tax expert” well given she, like Key was, is politically constrained, then the truth is that Judith is a ‘status quo tax expert’ at best. That’s nothing against Judith as it is simply the truth.

Back in 1989 when I lived in west Berlin we became aware that demonstrations that were being held every Monday night in Leipzig. These demo’s lead to fall of the wall & changed the world.
