Ministry does a u-turn on counting uneaten lunches.
Officials haveu-turned on a multimillion dollar school lunch policy and will now start regular of the numbers of taxpayers funded leftovers.
In Hamilton alone, hundreds of lunches packs were sent untouched to food shelters for the community to pick up everyday.
Opposition MP’s called the lack of rigour in the program “irresponsible “, but Education Minister Chris Hipkins said it would be “nanny statish” to make schools monitor the uneaten lunches.
But now in a about turn schools will now be counting the average dailly number of surplus lunches and reporting that to the Ministry of Education.

This is the problem with Jacindas pet projects they obviously have not done there homework and have willy nilly set a program in progress without finding out that the responsible parents don’t want their children being told to eat school funded rubbish instead of what they choose for their children to have.
These school lunches were for children who weren’t given food by there parents for lunches but Jacinda Ardern and Labour decided that everyone at school where the program was put in will have a free lunch
So the taxpayer pays again for those that should never be allowed to have children until they realize it comes with responsibility.

Weak honours list at the the higher end. Noticeable how many are ‘promotions’ on previously received honours, without the recipient doing anything more than what they were previously honoured for.

I was trying to get my head around some greenie-inspired David Attenborough programme last evening when they wheeled in that brainwashed Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg.
That was the end of it for me. The girl is mad, just like Chloe Swarbrick.
I’ll give Attenborough the benefit of the doubt. At least he’s had 95 years to think about it.

        Unfortunately, while they are not bad people, most people are idiots. They naively accept whatever they are told without any real interrogation of the message. The widespread and unquestioning acceptance of the threat posed by Covid and by climate change are just two contemporary examples. These people get their “science” from Twitter, not from coolly assessing propositions on their merit that is derived from the supporting evidence and the logical relationships between premises and the conclusions reached.

        How much one is driven is not the key factor here. It is what they are driven by.
        
        Being driven by principles and standards (Wood), is far more preferable then being driven by obsession (Greta) who has been cultivated by indoctrination and repetition of bullshit ideas, rather than giving her the help for her Autism she actually needs.
        
        Great is a victim or horrible child abuse, reminiscent of some yesteryear circus where instead of giving the child they help it needs, they place the cretin in a cage and charge circus patrons to watch the child behaving like a chimpanzee.
        
        In a rational society, the parents would be prosecuted and the autsitic child put into care. But its OK, Greta is obsessed with Climate Change.
        
        If however she was obsessed with Climate Change being a giant swindle, I’m sure the parents would be in prison, having been found guilty of “hate speech” and child abuse, and Greta would be in State care. You see, it’s “OK when the left do it”.

        A dancing bear in chains may earn a lot of money as well, but does not get the benefit of those earnings.
        
        Unless she or her handlers are funneling all that $46m to genuine Climate Change solutions, she is no better than the dancing bear. And preaching one thing, and living a life that is not in sync with that preaching will be doing her head in. She will be living the high life, not in sync with what she preaches.
        
        Last I checked, she doesn’t travel around the world by clipper ship or horse and carriage. She cannot transport herself from location to location like some ancient wizard.
        
        She is just another dancing bear in chains. The chains are not made with steel or even physical. Her chains are psychological obsessions, cultured by indoctrination, and conditioning. She is just as exploited as a dancing bear, but far more dangerous.

    What about the fact it is very hard to get anywhere in a sprawling city like Auckland without using a car, it frequently rains, we often have passengers or children with us as well as gear for work or sport. It is just virtue signaling and Wood said as much when he and Robertson announced the cycle bridge, he said it will be iconic, an excellent experience and will put Auckland on the map (At around 23 mins).

      That’s not a fact at all.
      There are some places it’s difficult to get to in a timely manner, but others it’s quicker to catch a train, bus or a ferry.
      I used to commute on a bike in Wellington. Not as quick as a car, maybe, but I liked to get out in the fresh air at the end of the day and get a bit of exercise.

    Of course it will die out in 50 years. That is because all the alarmist predictions will have not materialised. This will be despite a rise in CO2 because although China is emitting more all the time the atmosphere is pretty much saturated with CO2.
    In 1989 the UN predicted climate disaster by 2000. This year the UN is predicted we have until 2030 before “we will reach the point of no return”. Note, not an actual disaster in 2030, just a tipping point. The goal posts keep being moved, conveniently.

        Well, Unity, it actually is rising. But the rate of rise is not accelerating. Also the sea is rising at a rate of about 1.5mm per year. Which is why my 1970’s marine chart of the Hauraki Gulf is still accurate.
        Moreover, the warming that we have been experiencing since about 1800 is beneficial and driven mainly by natural causes.

      It seems clear that CO2 does increase the temperature and sea level. However, no one knows by how much. It is silly denying reality. The sea level is rising not about 3 mm a year.
      
      The question is where do we spend the money? Do we spend it ruining the economy or dealing with the sea level rise that we cannot stop?

        NZ Stats Dept says sea level is rising about 1.5mm per year since 1800. Over the last couple of decades NIWA say about 3.4mm pa. However, Anthony Watts says that satellite records in the last two decades have caused this latest measurement error and that is because the earth’s shape has changed by that error amount. Tidal guages around the world still hold to the 1.5mm per year measurement
        By the way Duncan Garner asked James Shaw what was the rate of sea level rise and he didn’t know!

    The climate will not go down hill, because they are wrong and they are lying. However, that is not the point. The point is fundamentally detrimentally altering everyone’s current standard of living and way of life, based only on illogic and unreason.
    
    The climate will not change as the self-interested scaremongers claim, but, after having upended society and politics for the benefit of the hyper-elites, in 5o years a speech will be given to the Peoples of the World (nations will be a relic of a “less enlightened age” of “prejudice and small-mindedness”), basically saying “we have saved you all, but, there is still much more to be done. There is always more to be done. Onward we march to the utopia that is just over the horizon.” Of course, this horizon will be forever just over there, and always out of reach.

  Greta (and her handlers/promoters/parents) and their unjustified & unsubstantiated claims of “the start a mass extinction” etc, are to blame for the massive increase in mental health issues in teenagers. The message that we are all “doomed” (credit Dads Army) has not been challenged, and frankly disproven. She has been allowed to poison the next generation. Free speech and debate is critical, but in the case of Greta , political leaders and msm have been too scared to point out the flaws in her claims – is it because she is suffering from a mental disease herself and it’s not PC to be mean to her (would like to quote borat about his brother bilo but don’t want to upset mods)

Watching BBC World News yesterday, I caught a very chilling programme about where the world may be heading with the use of AI.

BBC One – Panorama, Are You Scared Yet, Human?

During the course of the programme, the President of Microsoft states in his interview, that “Orwell’s 1984, is likely to be a reality by 2024”.

A very chilling depiction of where the world could be heading in the name of security.

Why is it that humankind seems intent on making science fiction a reality?

Secondly, given the abuse of technology for military/state supremacy that the superpowers are engaging in, should we as New Zealanders be alarmed at the naive basis of the Ardern government to foreign relations with China and our traditional allies?

  Shame wasnt it. But then I think it might also reflect the Poms facing the reality that their batting line up in a tad fragile, particularly in the middle order.
  
  So, Captain, a question. For mine, Id be dropping Taylor and putting Conway in at 2nd drop, trying that for the 2nd Test.
  
  Thoughts? Anyone? Know its controversial and in all likelihood Taylor, a long time and very good servant to NZ cricket and NZ, will most likely retire after the India match, but surely its about results and fielding our best team?
  
  And its not just about Conways 200, as wonderful a knock as it was. Taylor hasn’t delivered in a long time.

  To be fair, we probably would have done the same at three down.
  
  It would have been very hard to get the runs because the fielding captain can adopt all sorts of tactics to slow the run rate down. Bowling outside leg etc for instance.
  
  So, chasing the runs would have heavily favoured the fielding team. With one test still to go, it was probably better to settle for a draw in this one and leave the series open for the decider.

    Concur, they looked tired and didnt seem to be able to pull anything new out of their bag of tricks, which was a shame.
    
    Not having Boult in the side for me is a weakness – think he came home prior to heading to the UK (hes been spotted training at Lords) for family reasons, which is fair enough. Seems hes been penciled for the second test, good.
    
    Sadly that means we played Santner who, frankly, couldn’t turn a fucking door knob.
    
    For me they should have gone with Mitchell instead of Santner. Drop Taylor, Conway 2nd drop and the two Toms to open.

Yesterday, had an interesting situation which got us wondering. We had reason to visit Tindall’s Red Shed at Silverdale and found you could make purchases only if you had cash. At the store their systems were down for electronic payments.
That got us thinking, given our modern dependency on electronic card payment systems, what will happen in the future when NZ starts to have electricity blackouts? This all because NZ has failed to invest in electricity generating plant of significant capacity over the past 30 years.

  Good point. And Cindy’s commitment to 100% renewable energy by 2030 is a crock of shit. The best renewable energy currently, is hydroelectricity. Especially as demand is increasing due to electric cars.
  
  Given the decades of run-up required to put dams in place, 2040 would be difficult, even if there were dam projects in the pipeline.
  
  But here we are in Lala land, where Cindy tells us that all forms of heating, lighting, industrial energy use, and transportation will be renewable and not a drop of petroleum in sight. But no more dams because we have to be kind to the snails.

  A good point. I see Aust is seriously considering Nuclear Power in some states and why not? I think the concept of any Nuclear Power in NZ a bit too grown-up for our mob to think about.   If the electricity gets that unreliable, you can bet your last dollar that Red Shed etc will install back up systems to keep their tills running when the power goes out.
  
  Otherwise, it’s back to the 1990s. Remember them? Shops weren’t open 24/7 and people survived.

    The cost of solar keeps dropping. But it will not be the energy savings that motivate large warehouses (in general) to invest in solar. It will be protection of revenue when there is instability in the electricity grid.
    
    With Cindy’s push to electric cars, outlaw oil and clean burning gas, and an increased reliance on imported coal, makes us a third world country in terms of energy.

  Electricity generation in NZ has been privatized.
  In the good old days the MOW built the dams. I doubt if any private company would want to build a Benmore let alone a nuclear power station.
  Furthermore.
  Ain’t nobody gonna want a nuclear power station in their part of the shakey isles.
  Manapouri Power Station will become available soon.
  I’m also wondering if the country may become more power efficient with the increased use of led lighting as an example.

    Back in the late 1960s work was well underway to build a Nuclear Power station in New Zealand. The proposed site was at Oyster Point on the Kaipara Harbour.
    The proposal was scrapped when the Maui gas field was discovered and the only practical use for the gas was to use it in a gas-fired power station.
    You can drive Green Party supporters nuts by pointing out what could have happened if the oil exploration ban had been in place in 1969, and Maui had never been discovered..

    I suggest that is over pessimistic and in parts wrong. With support from government (needed for environmental approvals etc) one of the generators might well build a large dam if a site was available. But I don’t think any sizeable catchments remain unexploited in an area where such a development would be permitted.
    
    Add to this if you like, but almost every river that has the flow and reliability is in the South Island West coast area down to fiordland. The Buller river springs to mind but I can’t see that being dammed.
    
    Nuclear could easily be placed in a relatively stable location, the site identified 40 or so years ago is probably still the best. That is Kaipara North Head south of Dargaville. It is high enough to be out of reach to any but the most catastrophic tsunamis (up to 250 metres, and if the tsunami goes that far up bye bye Auckland), and that area is as seismically stable as anywhere in NZ, has ready access to cooling water off shore, and is close enough to where the power is needed to make transmission simple.
    
    Manapouri could be available any time, but until we can transmit the power Northwards it is of very limited value. This has been brought up a number of times before, and the projected cost of linking Manapouri to the Benmore main switching centre with a network capable of carrying the full output is in the region of $1.5B. Probably should be done anyway, but not a quick or cheap answer.
    
    And yes, no doubt the widespread use of LED lighting in many areas has had some impact on power usage, but lighting is not a major power use, heating and especially hot water would be the biggest part. Cooking as well. More efficient appliances also probably helps, but as the become more efficient, we use more of them.
    
    Final thought, not so long ago I was shopping and the power went out; and the business had those old zip-zap machines with paper based card transactions that were wheeled out for temporary use. Would of course take time to process those transactions later, and hence be a bit of a cost, but more flexible than just cash.

      Ed I think you are an order of magnitude too low to get the full 4000GWh pa north. It will take 10 years to get the consents and even thien, they will need Public Works Act. Transpower can’t even move two pylons in Tauranga Harbour without running foul of the law.

      Just use Grant Robertson’s $926,000,000 Implementation Fund, and the $685,000,000 Auckland Lycra Bridge Fund, and you have the $1.5 Billion plus a surplus. So no cost at all. 🙂

Nuclear takes 5 to 17 years longer between planning and operation and produces on average 23 times the emissions per unit electricity generated (between 9 to 37 times depending upon plant size and construction schedule). Note carefully that the journalist inserted “alleged” in square brackets. This campaigner is still calling him an “offender”.

Let’s switch things around. A scenario where a woman is being seriously assaulted by a man. She grabs a knife and kills him. Police charge her with manslaughter. Jury says ‘You must be kidding.’ She is found not guilty. The media would be all over it. Would the media run a story by men’s advocates who call her a killer and demand that she be silenced?

I have zero interest in watching this show. But I think that it is a legitimate subject for a journalist.

I firmly believe that anyone anywhere in the world should be able to read the results of studies coming out of my lab. My research is publicly funded after all. But it’s also a question of equity. Why should findings only be available to those who can afford journal subscriptions or one-off fees?

      Many scientists prefer putting a pre-publication version of their paper on one of the Open Source Science archives…. they get a better quality of feedback that helps to shape up an improved paper.

  Most of the answer lies in >98% of academics being naive and frankly, stupid, when it comes to the real world.
  
  For example, an academic complains when they have to pay a plumber $30 for a call out fee/travel time……. when those very same academics spend 4-5 hours reviewing articles for journals FOR FREE.
  
  Academics need to wake up and start charging journals for their reviewing time. Why not? They have a skill set and ability. It is the only language the large publishers like Elsevier will understand. The journals may then put their prices up but then no-one will buy the journals.
  
  Wiles also over-estimates how many people are actually interested in her work. For those that are, she should download the PDFs of her work into her website or ResearchGate where anyone can see them. Isn’t she a communicator after all?

    Ideas are just ideas. So many academics publish things that are their ideas or research. But ideas are all they are, even if they are accurate. But as you say >98% of academics are naive and stupid. If they are naive and stupid, chances are their ideas as well.
    
    Results however, have a way of informing the world. If something has validity, it has to be taken to the next level, and applied to make some difference to the world, make a product, a service, a cure, a solution to a problem, etc.
    
    Results, not ideas, are what make the world a better place. People will pay money for results, ideas not so much unless they actually work. You can get big money for ideas that work, but to prove it works, you have to take it one level further and demonstrate it.

  The other major issue is the publishers are deliberately looking for sensationalism – gets the clicks. That means they choose articles that are often very poorly written, have dodgy data or reasoning but they have a clickbait abstract, even if the conclusions don’t support it. Think climate science.
  The underlying problem is there are too many academics, often secondrate for the best are making money in private industry, under publish or perish, Universities are now mainly just degree mills under a pretense of intellectual superiority. There is also grade inflation which is a whole separate problem.

  Because it won’t be available at all unless somebody puts time, expense and effort into making it available, and most people can’t do that without being paid for it, is why.

  It’s a nice wee trough of exclusivity – just like academia.
  
  From my limited understanding Prof Wiles is prevented by the university from publishing her material on a public platform and may only publish it via these gate-keepers of “truth”.
  
  It’s a bit like joining industry bodies such as IEEE where if you don’t join you’re cut off from a huge industrial knowledgebase. It has improved a bit, but not all the way there yet.
  
  Join IEEE and two or three of the other publishers and you’ve spend $400 per year.

  One good thing about the US. If it is funded by the taxpayer, it is released free. This includes research, world leading software (e.g. Fire Dynamics Simulator) from the likes of NIST.
  The US taxpayer acutally gets a lot of benefit from it, as the research and software is picked up and extended by others.
  We shoudl do the same. It always annoys me that NZ Standards are developed and written by unpaid volunteers , yet cost a fortune to buy.

It was interesting reading the responses to Andrea Vances column yesterday.
As we saw here with Muttonbirds flailing attempts at deflection none of Labours online shills seemed to be able to actually critique the content so they attacked Vance instead often in language they would deride others for using as being sexist.

What a farce the announced agreement over international corporation taxation arrangements is.
Claims that it will stop the race to the bottom with countries creating tax havens for corporates with ever lower corporate tax rates, are just that claims that are baseless.
With many Non G7 countries having corporation tax regimes with tax rates below 15%, how do the G7 expect things to change. Then there is the clause that it will only apply to nominated profits in the specific trading country where the profits are above 10%.

How will either of the above key clauses stop the extensive “Corporate Intercompany Transfer Charging Regimes” that see a companies profits moved from one tax jurisdiction to another without any impediment and only limited tax being paid? Agreements such as the one announced this weekend, is nothing but window dressing to the problem of corporations that operate in multi-national jurisdictions and do not pay appropriate levels of corporation tax.
Until countries impose turnover taxes on the sales/revenue received from sales in a specific country, multi-national corporations will continue to invest in “Transfer payment regimes” to launder profits from jurisdictions of high corporate tax rates to tax havens, and will continue to make the politicians who talk of significant changes as this announcement look as clueless (or inept) as they really are.

  Nope, sales taxes are a lousy way to raise tax, different industries have hugely different margins.
  
  NZ already has a transfers regime and a thin capitalisation prevention one as well. As long as one applies fair rules to transfers, why should organisations not be able to set up their affairs to (legally) minimise their taxation imposition.
  
  Remember, ultimately companies don’t pay taxes, only people pay taxes. Company tax is in some measure ultimately paid by owners, employees, and customers in various shares.

A laugh for the morning at our fellow kiwis.
I was looking through the government’s petitions to parliament website. Here are some of the issues of concern:
• Ban the use and sale of glitter in NZ.
• Implement a one child policy in NZ to combat climate change.
• Stop killer robots.
•.Remove all erect phalluses from public Maori statues.
•. Allow for 12 to 14 year olds to vote on issues to be prioritised
• Designers of public infrastructure be required to meet equine needs
•. Fair road levies, more biofuel and remuneration for tree owners.
It was reassuring to see that these petitions had gained few signatures. Eg, the one child policy only had one, probably the starter’s obnoxious brother.

  The only things that made the numbers look big are:
  1) India is a logistics disaster zone anyway and the slightest change throws the place into disarray making everything seem worse.

    All informed commentators have said India’s real rate is at least three or four times the published figures. They simply don’t have the testing capability to determine the true level of infection. Hardly surprising given that much of India is third world.

  Just three weeks after adding Ivermectin, Delhi now leads India out of the deadly second surge of the COVID pandemic. Cases that had peaked at 28,395 on April 20 plummeted nearly 80% to just 6,430 on May 15. Deaths peaked May 4, and now they are also down 25%.

  Meanwhile, three other Indian states have followed Goa’s lead in adding Ivermectin: Uttarkhand, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. And, as expected, they have seen a drop in new daily cases as well, with Uttar Pradesh down nearly 75% from a peak of 37,944 just four days after they began following the April 20 AIIMS guidance to just 10,505 on May 16.

  The tragic story in all this is that the Indian state of Tamil Nadu installed a new leader on May 7, 2021. He suddenly reversed their state’s decision to adopt Ivermectin. Readers of my book all know about Peruvian President Sagasti’s fateful decision to outlaw Ivermectin. Before taking power, the COVID deaths had dropped 14 fold to almost nothing with Ivermectin use. However after Sagasti was elected, Ivermectin was stopped, and deaths roared back at 13 fold.

  Why don’t Maori join the rest of us? Why do they have to have race-based divisions? Surely we can all just be New Zealanders and stop this nonsense. ‘White privilege’ is a ridiculous appendage. After all there are more ‘white’ people than there are ‘Maori’ so there’s often going to be more ‘white’ people sitting at the table. Those who identify as ‘Maori’ should get off their butts and get themselves elected like everyone else has to. I totally disagree with the term ‘white privilege’. The way it seems to be today it would be more appropriate to use the term ‘Maori privilege’ because we are hearing about them day in and day out hour by hour. It’s nauseating. They have been given so much assistance from the year dot so if they aren’t succeeding today, then they should look in the mirror. There are plenty of decent hardworking ‘Maori’ who get on with their lives like the rest of us proving that their ‘Maori’ side doesn’t hold them back. There are no ‘Maori’ today – only people of mixed heritage. We MUST stop these racist divisions and just all be New Zealanders. Special places ‘at the table’ need to be earned, not gifted.

        There is also the New Zealander born overseas to at least one New Zealand parent (NZ citizenship by descent).
        
        Note that is an inferior grade of citizenship because it cannot be passed on to one’s children. It would have to be “upgraded” to Citizenship by Decree.

        DNA does not establish countries. Look at Britain, India, Russia, the United States, even Han-dominant China – and you find communities with different DNA.
        
        DNA of Maori shows they are East Polynesians. It shows their ancient origins can be traced back to the tiny hill tribes of Taiwan, and these ancestors receive far less consideration as minorities than Maori do in New Zealand.

      All Maori today have other heritage, making them only part Maori. There are no full blooded Maori.
      They should elevate their ‘other’ side and let the World be their oyster. Better still, forget their genetic make-up and just get on with life as a proud New Zealander. They will be so much better for it!!

        When I was young a lot of people I knew, who had never been near Ireland, celebrated their Irish roots. Every year down at the church hall there was a St Patrick’s Day concert. My father was president of the Hibernians and they played darts with the Orange Lodge people.
        Then there were the Dalmatian clubs. Down the road from me in Mangere Bridge is a Chinese Activity Centre and there are Indian, Muslim & Thai centres all over the place where people meet.
        Maori marae abound.
        All these people, and many others, retain an identity that goes back to some culture from a country they may only have a tenuous dna connection to.

    The ‘disadvantaged Maori’ are only so because of the poor leadership by some elements of the Maori leadership; mainly lack of leadership and encouragement.
    Maori have had access to all the same schooling as we stale pale white people, difference in achievement is due to our parenting.
    Most modern MAori are doing very well, successful in employment and successful at parenting.

Very proud for a member of our Rotary Club this morning. His wife received an ONZM a few years ago, and this morning, Graeme received the Queen’s Service Medal for the hours of voluntary work he has done over many years for the Cancer Society, Master Electricians and Rotary.

We’re only a small club, around fifteen members, but in our ranks we have a Knight, ONZM and QSM; all people who just want to make a difference, and who, in the best traditions of Rotary, put Service Above Self.

The article in the Herald that Matthew Tukaki was randomly called a racial slur on a wellington street is shocking, and unacceptable.

It lead me to his twitter account and some questions about race, and mixed race families.
He says, ” But The fact we need to spell it out for

tells me they have learnt nothing. #colonisation was never good for anyone of colour #fullstop.”

His Wikipedia page says, “He is the Great Grandson on his mother’s side of Sir Charles St Julian ” St Julian is french or english originally Charles Trout. He is a person of many colours it seems like many of us. How can he say his European fore fathers made no contribution to this country and it’s development. Wasn’t his own grandfather an advocate for colonisation of a type.

St Julians lead an interesting life in relation to colonisation: “From 1848, when he opened a correspondence with Hawaii, until his death in Fiji twenty-six years later, St Julian pursued a vision of European expansion in the Pacific which he associated with the political emergence of indigenous nations in the islands, modelled on the Polynesian Kingdom of Hawaii. St Julian sought to influence developments in the Pacific, on the one hand through his public writings, on the other by proferring advice privately to those in positions of authority, both in the islands and elsewhere.”

  I grew up in rural NZ in a place where Maori families outnumbered European families. I was 5 before I traveled by bus to the ‘big smoke’ and saw more white (no pun intended) than brown people. If I had a dollar for every time I copped a racial slur during my preschool years my school years, my service years and my being out and about in NZ and overseas for decades, I do believe I could buy Parliament another slide. Almost 🙂
  
  But we let these things go in the past (unless it should be best used as a reason for the fight now if the other party was trying to push for one at their choice of time… learned that in the service).
  
  My mother taught me and I see no reason to think otherwise: “Sticks and stones may break your bones but names will never hurt you.”
  
  Mr Tutaki, why are you so broken up about getting called a name? Drink a cup of concrete and harden up.

  I heard Peter Williams interview Paul Goldsmith during the week. Interestingly, Goldsmith’s first job after graduating from university with an MA in History was with the Waitangi Tribunal. His knowledge and understanding of New Zealand history is, I should imagine, better than most!

What would the world be like today had Hitler succeeded in conquering Russia — western Europe living under a totalitarian regime — Britain a military fortress under US influence to stop the Nazi threat ?

Do Maori/PI qualify for disabled parking without displaying permits, or do they just take them and tell everyone to fuck off. Took a client to Porirua and he had a permit; we went to Pak’nSave, all taken, same at Warehouse, where I was abused. Ignored this rough looking thug, but took his number and when I rego checked, saw there was a security over the vehicle, and it was to us; also WoF was out of date as was insurance. Security at risk and he will be walking . . . tough!
