  My father has it full on. Biden has all the signs we went through. If his wife (not his sister, that would be weird) was kind to him, she’d take him home, sit him in a comfortable chair and throw a rug over him. Some jigsaw puzzles on the coffee table maybe, but not Monopoly, that gets too confusing for them and they think they can take that money and use it in gas stations. Not good, even on Super Thursday.

Politics seems to have been very kind to Joe, its made him very rich and his son and his brother…….all for an amazing small ability if almost nothing………and the same amount of integrity is seems. Since the Dems want him they must have someone in line for VP so as he lapses into senility she will be able to take over.

Ha, ha.

That was 2013 and it was a fawning effort to lead into 2016 and try and get Democrat control for three presidential terms.

Except Sleepy Joe once again made one of his poor executive decisions – Obama’s Defence Secretary Gates once said that Biden had been on the wrong side of every Foreign Policy decision of the last thirty years – and refused to run in 2016.

He likely would have beaten Trump, simply by being more likeable than Hillary, especially with the Deplorables of the MidWest who ended up crushing her dreams.

But now it’s 2020, and it’s Joe “Brain-Bleed” Biden, a man who has mentally declined so badly that even Left-Wingers are talking about it:

They’re making the pretty cogent point that Biden can’t hide forever and President Donald Trump isn’t going to hold back on him in a general election, so it’s going to come out. Not to mention, that it’s irresponsible and not right to vote for someone who you think may have significant issues that will impair his ability to do the job. Now, obviously some of them are Bernie supporters. But that doesn’t make them any less right. They’re also chastising the Democrats who are refusing to acknowledge there’s a problem.

You’re going to hang your hat on this guy in 2020, DPF? Jesus!

Wonder how much the Dems paid for that fluff piece. More references to style crap like his ray-bans than to the guy’s governing record. No mention of his role leading up to the Iraq war. Nor his key role in bankruptcy legislation (banks and corporations get bailouts, but muggles can’t discharge credit card or student debt in bankruptcy). Nor his vote for repealing Glass-Steagal, nor his votes for the various trade deals like NAFTA and the China trade normalization that gutted American manufacturing. Nor his constant calls for cutting Social Security. Nor his repeat shopping around of son Hunter for “advance gratitude”. Nor his seemingly rapidly fading mental agility. But who knows, if Bernie is gonna fade, maybe the issues don’t matter anymore.

There are two big problems with Joe Biden, especially with the old interview. Joe Biden in 2013 is not the Joe Biden in 2020. He has deteriorated significantly in the last year. Look how fast Ronald Reagan went down. The second hidden issue (it wasn’t traversed that I could see) was the stench of corruption. There are a lot of dodgy things about his past and his getting money for his family connections. Why else would anyone hire Hunter for the board?
Trump has similar scandals behind him, but he looks a lot cleaner than Joe and saner than Bernie. It is a scary choice – the least of the evils..

It looks like David is shifting his allegiance from Bernie to Joe. Creepy Joe is not a raving communist like Bernie – even though David said he would go for Bernie ahead of Trump (some craziness there) – But Creepy Joe is senile, corrupt and lacking in integrity.

    I don’t think Trump is a psychopath and that is a precisely defined but often misused word.
    “a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behaviour.” He is not that. Trump is a narcissic buffoon, but the more people with TDS mischaracterize him, the more popular he will get as his opponents continue to overegg their abuse.

Oh – and here’s another aspect of Biden from Kevin Williamson at National Review, and as you read it remember how much of a NeverTrumper Williamson is:

You may have heard that Biden lost his wife and daughter in a horrifying drunk-driving wreck, the fault of a monster of a man who irresponsibly “drank his lunch,” as Biden puts it.

Biden’s wife and daughter did, in fact, die in a car wreck. That is true. It is not true that the driver of the other car was drunk, that he had been drinking, or that there was any reason to believe he was drunk or had been drinking — or even that he was at fault.

The late Mrs. Biden “drove into the path of [the] tractor-trailer,” the police report says. But Biden, like every other third-rate ward-heeler of his ilk, thinks and speaks only in terms of good guys and bad guys, white hats and black hats — and if something bad happens to good people, then it must be because somebody in a black hat did something nefarious.

The driver of that truck went to his grave haunted by Biden’s lies, to the point where his children were forced to beg the vice president to stop defaming their late father.

The casual cruelty with which Biden is willing to subordinate the lives of ordinary people to his political ambitions — for the sake of a petty tear-jerker line in one of his occasionally plagiarized stump speeches — is remarkable.

But that’s Joe Biden.

what the hell does this even mean:
“Biden has on his signature Ray-Bans—the aviators!—and that was what, above all else about his whirlwind trip to Rome, was inexplicably spectacular.”
The writer sounds like she/he has dementia as well.

There’s a Jay Leno’s Garage episode in which Biden seems a decent enough old buffer, doing burnouts in his ‘vette. He should definitely stick to doing that until he can’t remember where he put the car keys, which doesn’t appear to be far into the future.

The bar is set pretty low for Joe. A lot of democrats are nervous about what he might say or do. He has actually been OK in the dem debates. If he can have a reasonable discussion with Bernie about policy he will start to generate some enthusiasm. A one on one will suit him better than a 12 person circular firing squad .

The debates with Bernie will be more difficult than with Trump. Bernie has a good grasp of detail of his ideas even if they are unworkable. Trump does slogans and insults not detail.
