The #nzpol 100

Some anonymous user has created the #nzpol100 feed, which you can view here. Essentially, it’s a group of 100 handpicked accounts which tweet frequently and well on NZ politics (which goes by the #nzpol hashtag). It looks like the choices rotate from time to time with the list is being constantly updated. The account also tweets short bios about the accounts (with varying degrees of success at humour).

In the past, Bryce Edwards and Geoffrey Miller put out a list of the Top 100 accounts to follow but they got a lot of aggravation from people who missed out. So it’s not surprising this account has remained anonymous. Anyway, there’s nothing on the account that claims it is “the” top 100, which is why the membership seems to change from time to time.

Anyway, if you’re into Twitter and politics its just one of such lists that’s available but it looks like a pretty balanced one. A good way to dip your toe into the world of online politics!
