I thought it was trying to say that royalty was dead or that it was like a dog chasing a bone, Doesn’t make it a good cartoon in my opinion, if it isn’t clear.

I just wish the Royal institution would just go away. The shameless charm offensive we are enduring from Harry and Meaghan and her clothing is cringeworthy. They are a perfectly nice couple but really why is this family a part of our constitution.

Stringers cartoon references Whisper, the last of the Queen’s Corgi’s who passed away recently, aged 12.
Whisper was originally the Queen’s gamekeepers corgi but was adopted by Her Majesty following the death of her beloved corgi Willow aged 14 years.
The Queen has bred Corgi’s since 1944, she has had 30 Corgi’s over the years, and her last Corgi Willow was the 14th generation of Corgi descended from her first Corgi Susan.

Queen is just being practical, as always. At her advanced age any corgi she takes on is likely to outlive her so best to end it with Whisper. HRH is slowly but surely setting her affairs in order.

Speaking of royalty and the the current tour by #6 in line to be our HoS.
The daily gushing over their excruciatingly banal activities reminds me of Thailand where every evening on all the Thai TV channels an unbelievably formal presentation of some royals handing out degrees or opening tractor factories is shown for 15-30 minutes. The bowing and scrapping by lesser mortals is eye popping.
At least Meagan reached into the crowd and actually hugged someone she recognized from Instagram yesterday. That’ll soon be beaten out of her.

  They do stuff that is suggested by their hosts. I get the feeling that the hosts haven’t too many ideas – or, just maybe the Sussex’s chose activities that THEY like.
  Anyway it’s a first ‘royal tour’ for this youth adjacent couple. They’ll do the heavier stuff later, when they are older.

I read a thing somewhere that she loved her corgis because they were just about the only people in her life who were straight with her.

All of the humans in her life were all stiff, nervous, curtseying, bowing, painfully shy, formal and stumbling over their words. Whereas the dogs were just dogs, they didn’t give a shit what her station was.
