The idea that it took a perennial lardarse to finally give a voice to the destitute beneficiary with elastic morals was always implausible. And that’s me being kind.

I’m not talking here about the distended belly of the malnourished. I’m a sweaty fat fuck myself, so I know one when I see one. And that’s swearing, is that.

And how deliciously ironic is it that that same idea does such a great disservice to John Campbell and his other media luvvies, who have long been championing the so-called poor in New Zealand without ever having a credible case study of absolute poverty (cf. relative poverty).

Beggars in the street have smartphones, and all the access they want to social media and a fawning, uncritical, lazy MSM – why do they need a con artist to speak for them?

We were being asked to believe that notwithstanding the efforts, over 10 or more years, by Campbell and co., Turei had finally – where others had failed – shone a light on what’s apparently so wrong with our welfare system.

Shame on you Turei, for throwing your whanau under the bus in a dishonest attempt to excuse your theft and score political points in the process.

Shame on you Shaw, you coward, for showering yourself in Turei’s shit. Thanks to you, the stench will outlive her departure.

And shame on you Marvelly and all the other enablers, who worsen the plight of the deserving by cheerleading the bullshitting, entitled, thieving and undeserving.

  She reminded New Zealanders why there are checks and balances in the welfare system – to catch out people who fraud the system.

  I’ve gone grown very, very cynical of all Politicians over the past few year but there is something about the likes of Arden, Macron and Trudeau that really grates me.
  
  It’s not just their Politics, it the fact that they really are inferior, c list candidates that have been foisted upon us.
  
  They are absolute lightweights with no gravitas whatsoever who haven’t thought one intelligent thought in their entire lives.
  
  They are foisted on the public by the MSM as being “cool” and this seems to be enough to attract the reality tv watching, Social Media posting unthinking idiots of today in droves.

  And that falls right at the feet of the entire Green caucus – especially Shaw.

Pensioners and Superannuates,who end up giving a winning vote to Labour.
The $13 dollars a week ,promised by National in April, will not happen.Ardern and gang dont give tax cuts,no one will get them.
Now for the water tax. Fixed incomes will take a huge hit,as the cost of living will rocket,should they get a mandate. Dont be fooled, by bullshit and jelly beans ,by someone too sweet to be wholesome.

I think Cindy is going to take the last polling as a mandate to go all comrade on us.

We’ve seen a new water policy and a new transport policy. No doubt soon a new housing policy, minimum wage, etc etc.

She’ll get giddy with the new found power and keep heaping it on, not realising that she has already overstepped the bounds of what NZ will swallow.

Meanwhile the punters will get less enamoured by her dazzling facade and realise there’s nothing inside.

All that will play out in the next 6 weeks.

      Are you kidding? Admittedly it’s from the US, but the table claims that close to 1,000 litres of water is need to produce a litre of wine. Ironically it looks like the only thing people will be able to afford to drink will be bottled water.

    The extra cost would make NZ dairy products too expensive on the world market and that would do two things:
    * Kill the NZ dairy industry (since 95% or such of our milk is exported).
    * Kill the NZD meaning the costs of all imported products would go up dramatically.
    
    That flat screen TV you think you’re going to be able to fiddle out of WINZ is going to cost an extra $500.

        Most farming that is close to cities (eg. West Melton area next to Chch) is not financially sound because the land would be far more profitable developed.
        
        I used to wind up a friend of mine who has a huge family farm in commuting distance of Chch. I called him a hobby farmer even though they run thousands of ewes + wheat etc. He disagreed.
        
        So I put it to him that his farm lands were probably worth $20M or more sold off as 10 acre blocks (more for smaller subdivisions). Chuck that in the bank and the income would be more than what he gets from looking at ewes’ bums and lambing in the sleet. Therefore it’s a hobby, not a business.

    GIven humans are approx. 90% water and need to consume 2.4 litres a day (approx.) to keep up I can see where labour is coming from with their water tax, tax the human body for all that water it contains and uses.
    Anything that we put in our mouth will either contain water or have been manufactured with the use of water.
    If people analyse this in detail they will see it is actually a hidden tax on the end user.
    The city dwellers need to consider the amount of wine they drink. It is not the actual liquid in the bottle it is the amount of water used in the manufacture.
    Lucky we import most of our almonds otherwise the nut eaters would go broke just contemplating the thought of an almond.

I am actually very happy with the TV3 poll

1. National didn’t suffer any loss only a minor 0.8% drop
2. Tooth Fairy simply reclaimed the votes back from the toxic Greens and Winston First parties.
3. Basically the left block remained the same and nothing has changed
4. Tooth Fairy in her honey moon period jumped up in the PM stakes which has no meaning. Remember Bill English is no John Key
5. Once Tooth Fairy’s make up wears off Kiwis will find out that she is just flake and full of bumper sticker slogans
6. Next couple of polls will maintain this status and then Tooth Fairy will come down to earth with a thud.
7. Having said all that Bill English needs to lift his game a lot. He cannot sleep walk to victory
8. Now Winnie will be in full swing into protection mode. See him attack Tooth Fairy as if there is no tomorrow
9. Once the MSM stop worshipping Tooth Fairy, they will start to ask hard questions
10. When the socialist Cindy announces her income tax policy i.e. 40% tax in rich pricks, she will lose another chunk of voters

This election is for Bill English to lose and not for Tooth Fairy to win.

  Yeah. It was pretty good news. I think we’ll see Labour keep the pressure on the Greens by trying to attract their voters.
  
  Labour’s best hope is to cannibalize the Greens (maybe until they drop out of parliament completely) and get into a position where Labour+NZF can govern without a third party. Last night those two were at 42.3% — another 5% and they might reach a majority.

  Better still was the UMR poll (Labour’s internal poll). Their polling only concluded yesterday, and by last night the poll had already been leaked to the Herald, presumably by the Labour Party.
  
  The good news was that NZF’s support halved, from 16% to just 8%, with the Greens also down to 8%. The even better news was that National, which normally polls worst of all polls in UMR, was UP one point to 43%. It’s looking more and more like a two-horse race, and with six weeks to go, I’d back the stayer Wiremu Pakeha over the sprinter Jacinda 😎

  Yep, just as it has been since the first MMP election in 1996, and despite all the other bit-players, the real election is always between National and Labour. It is when one takes enough votes off the other that they win government, maybe needing NZ First as a coalition partner. She spoke of a water tax ,yet said wait until after the election ,and we will let the voters known,how much they will be gouged.   It is good that the co-leader of the Greens has gone. But the crisis has not yet passed. If labour gets enough votes then they will bring in the Greens as their coalition partner.
  
  I agree with everything said about taxation and so forth. However I believe that the real threat to our country is immigration. James Shaw of the Greens has promised to bring in thousands and thousands of Syrian refugees. These will be mainly young men of fighting age and they will be 99% Muslim.

  If you don’t believe me look at France. There was an attack on French troops yesterday in Paris by a terrorist. The identity of this person has not yet been released but they will be a Muslim terrorist.
  
  But what this also shows us is that France is under martial law. There are literally thousands of French troops patrolling the streets keeping the French people safe from Muslim terrorists.
  
  Do we want this in our country? We do not have a terrorist problem at the moment because we have very few Muslims. The only way to keep New Zealanders safe is to elect a government that will not change our immigration settings.

    It’s what infuriates me so much about the nature of political debate in this country.
    
    The past 2 weeks has all been about Barclay, Arden and Turei. The MSM has devoted thousands of pages of forest to covering these 3 people, whose actions (considering Arden, despite what MSM will tell you, won’t change anything major) doesn’t impact our lives one iota.
    
    Yet when it comes to the largest ever deliberate long term population replacement in all our history (I include the European migration of the 1800’s) that will impact us for generations to come, the most serious debate we seem to have is a couple of columns in the Lifestyle section on how only Indian chefs are capable of cooking a proper curry.

Also, what will happen is that the cost of goods and services will increase expedentially and there will be very few winners. Just like a dog chasing its tail. More people will be worse off and very few better off. And the ones who manage to survive, will be funding the increase in the unemployment bill. Benefit fraud will go through the roof. Given the latest Poll The Captn and other ‘Two Ticks Blue” is now critical for those who want a Nat led government.

Winston has since 1996 always gone to the Party with a highest election vote first. He wont change that. he certainly wont change that to join a government that includes the Green.

Labour needs to get to near 40% on my reading with NZF at 10% to govern together.

IMHO now Me Tu has gone some Greens will return to the fold. So Labour will drop. Even if they stay at current levels it wont be enough.

Dunne Seymour and Maori Party will join Nats and NZF IF Winston agrees.

Winston knows he wont get a PM shared role. The best he can get is Deputy.

As the beltway knows WInston is notorious for not ‘doing his boxes” so he will want a post that doesnt involve many’boxes”.
By most accounts he was very good Foreign Minister ( ask Condi Rice).

The added benefit is FMs are out of the country most of time.

So Deputy and FM would be my pick.

The other day I clicked on a link somewhere (can’t remember where) which opened a voting survey purporting to tell you which NZ party most aligns with your views.

I took the survey. The questions were really interesting and there were more than just yes/no options for areas where you wanted to go deeper. I assume this survey was an adaptation of an overseas (US) model because the word ‘federal’ came up a couple of times, but nevertheless it seems to cover NZ issues pretty well.

    It looks far too professional to be a fake sponsored by a political party. My guess is that it’s a two-way project constructed by some international political think tank which collects the data as bona fide survey material but gives the respondent interesting feedback on his/her views as a sort of ‘reward loop’.
    
    My result was 61% NZF too. I don’t think Winston Peters has the financial resources or the technical interest to fake this. Also it appears (by the IP addtess) to also be used in other countries, so I either have to accept that this party closely aligns with my views or that I’m being used as part of some technically advanced international conspiracy theory. It’s good that Turei has finally done the decent thing and left. It’s also plain that the Greens have to decide if they are Green or hard-Left Red. The two MPs who quit/were ousted obviously must be reinstated (should they want to be) if they are to have any claim to being ‘Green’. Are the Greens trying to achieve Green objectives – or they aiming for Red comrade-type ‘loyalty’ and uniformity?

Labour has the same problem – either they’re a bunch of activists mired in identity politics or they want to provide responsible governance for the whole country. There are far too many working people who are earning less than subsistence wages and Labour betrayed them years ago in favour of identity politics.

For them it’s also complicated by the Left being seriously flaky. Their voters are clearly not concerned with policy – because the poll results don’t derive from policy. Apart from Turei, they derive entirely from Jacinda’s toothy grin. The Left feel they’ve ‘achieved’ something – an appearance to compete with John Key – who isn’t there anymore.

What little policy Jacinda’s come up with so far – apart from targeting particular NZers in the usual politics of envy, ‘divide-and-rule’ strategy – has all the usual hallmarks of ‘We’ll do it in ten years’. That’s a third term from now – and they have yet to win one election, let alone three.

The only thing that’s going to be done after the election is the water policy – and then they’re going to ‘consult’ and ‘talk about it’. Translation – firstly, there’s no promise to do anything; secondly, they’ll do nothing different to now because it’s ‘fiscally responsible’ – except maybe ‘in the future’.

National support, on the other hand, clearly is not based on John Key, appearance or otherwise. Bill English is a human, wholesome, and responsible leader of the governance of the country – who clearly cares passionately for NZ and its people, even if he doesn’t show it effusively. He is exceptionally committed to it. He has lots of ‘skin in the game’, having created and raised an extensive family and persevered through political ups and downs which few others have survived. He’s certainly not in it ‘for a good time’. He’s in it ‘for a long time’. And he’s done it with humility, aplomb, and respect – also with success, given NZ is currently better off than many countries in the world.

Love them or hate them, National can’t fluff any of their policies – they’re in government. They have to ‘do’ things for real and can’t promise wish lists. They certainly would find it difficult to promise things ‘in ten years’ – not only are they not fortune-tellers, the chances of any party remaining in government for 19 straight years must be low.

They do have to be innovative though, in dealing with modern life. They do have to listen and respond more to voters – and allow them more autonomy on the values they live by. They do have to ensure that everyone who works receives a livable wage, and that those who can’t work, for whatever reason, can survive as well. They do need to find a more ‘national’ identity, sense of belonging, and shared values to help glue society together and set and maintain basic standards of a social contract on both sides.

I do want clean water but not at the expense of making it saleable, thereby exposing people to the risk of not being able to ‘afford’ it (or in good quality) in the future.

I do want equal wages for women, but not at the expense of forcing all women (men, if they prefer) into the workforce when they want to be or should be parenting.

I do want much more invested in children, as human capital, but not thrusting them into relentlessly parentless environments, leaving them to the mercy of the MSM and social media, ideologically brainwashed and politicised before they should be, and convinced that they are fit to rule the world in their ignorance and/or compassionate naivete.

Rampant industrialisation was a terrible idea, whether it produced some good capabilities/ideas or not. Rampant capitalism and consumerism is equally damaging of people and the planet. We need some new ideas but they must be practical, rational, and true and work for everyone.

National have lots of scope to get out of any rut they’ve acquired and start being truly innovative, particularly the younger streams of it. Identity politics needs to be over. Time for a true growth spurt.

That’s my immediate response to the news that Metiria Turei has resigned and will be leaving Parliament. Rage, just utter rage at a political system where this can happen. Where people who have been poor are villified and harassed because of the choices a corrupt, unfair, immoral system forced them to make. Where those people are sent a clear message that they should not and never can be involved in politics. Where instead, we’re ruled by entitled wankers like Gower and Hosking and People Like Them who meet their approval.

The crap is flying in all directions over at NRT!

  There’s some irony to that. Have you not noticed that a lot of the world is feeling that same ‘rage’ – from every side of the spectrum. And it is reaching very dangerous levels.
  
  It derives from the world progressively having been governed by small elites who believe that they know how everyone else should live and enforce it, irrespective of the value system employed – but it has predominated in the Left /Liberal.
  
  When ‘the people’ determine the governments and policies they want, there is some balance. That balance may not be the optimum that any purist ideologue wants, and it may prevent anyone ever getting what they feel is the ‘full’ opportunity to institute their philosophies or strategies. But it does ensure that the majority of the people live at some level of peaceful autonomy and a tolerable level of fairness and equality.
  
  We live in a world where governments have progressively stolen the power of ‘the people’ to pursue policies which satisfy a ‘few’ and frustrate everyone else. It doesn’t actually matter what their policies are – it just disenfranchises and disconnects the majority of the population, who all become progressively angrier.
  
  Modern politics can be described as a reenactment of Milgram’s famous experiment. Someone with power and ‘authority’ instructs the general populace to apply electric shocks to those who don’t ‘achieve’ successfully (in the experiment if was spelling a word wrong – in society you can insert any PC concept, smoking etc., but also unemployment, water pollution, etc.)
  
  Every time the ‘subject’ fails, they are shocked – the level of shock escalating with each failure until it becomes lethal.
  
  The experiment showed that 60% to 70% will administer lethal electric shocks to anyone for generic ‘failure’ to obey orders and ‘achieve’ successfully. Despite watching the victim suffer, scream, and die, some will love it altogether, some will go along with it with unease, some will weep and wail while doing it but do it anyway. Only 20% to 30% will say ‘No’ at the lethal or suffering level.
  
  This result was consistent across the world and cultures, including Australia and NZ. The French repeated this on public television a few years ago – the experiment always causes horror and major disturbance for those faced with their own ‘humanity’.
  
  For me, the ‘whole’ increasingly suffers from Stockholm syndrome and become utterly confused about where they’re at and what they believe in – and angry about it, often without even knowing why, desperately clinging to the justification they’ve been given. Others, of course, become directly abusive, suicidal, etc.
  
  In the internet world, they all have increasing visibility, especially the 20% to 30%. The potential for unthinking obedience and ‘rebellion’ just grows, as does the anger of all. It’s very, very dangerous, inspiring continuous generic mental, physical, and emotional disturbance.
  
  The only way out of it is public democracy and an overt, informed, chosen social contract accepted by the vast majority, which is fully participant in its own governance.
  
  It requires democratic representatives who actually represent the views of an informed and beneficent people – as the highest good – no matter the political orientation.
  
  Activists should be seen and heard – just not in allowed in government and governance.

  I read earlier I think in Stuff that Kelvin Davis is good mates with Winston and Shane Jones. I note also the Maori Party comments on Adern and Davis.
  
  I stopped reading Wailoil regularly earlier in the year after having been a paid subscriber for a couple of months. I stopped mainly because I felt the blog had largely lost objectivity over some issues, not least was his obvious hatred for English.
  
  The blogs insistence that NZF would never go with anything involving the Greens was another loss of objectivity in my view. I am sure some vote for NZF because they agree with their policies etc etc but to vote for NZF as a protest vote against National has never made any sense to me.
  
  The likely result going on current polling and the personal relationships in play is a Lab/NZF/MP government.
  
  To do my bit to try and avoid that the only logical step I can see is party vote National.

    Indeed, Winnie and his cuzzie, whanau is strong with Maori, makes it seem obvious Winnie would go with Labour.
    The other thought could be a party vote Act as National will still need a support partner, they will hold their electorate seats so possibly their party vote will not equate to giving them more seats. However if Seymour takes Epsom, which seems a strong possibility then Act needs less percentage for every extra list MP they bring in.

      Two things stop me voting ACT. First I once liked how Seymour applied himself, but recently he has come across to me at least as rather childish. Maybe I am just getting old or lacking in humour!
      
      Second I fear that on current polling a party vote Act will be wasted, but that is my only other realistic option. I would far prefer National was to the right of their current position but I see MMP as meaning that to get into Government a party has to hold the centre and about 45% of us say we are okay where National is now, seems like that is the centre to me?
      
      From time to time I wonder about a “grand coalition” between National and Labour. There is talent and deadwood on both sides and such a beast would have the ability to get things done. I wonder if they would be good things or bad!

You can continue to push a completely anti-national rhetoric and stories that try to portray how badly NZ is being managed, but the people that actually get out there and vote, in the main, are not stupid.
They see that the message the media is giving does not match to the reality they can see.
It is time to wake up and start reporting the facts and only the facts.
Stop using lies and half truths to force your own opinions and beliefs onto the rest of the country.
You go on about the rights of the press to be able to say what they want, but how about the responsibility of the press to tell the truth? or is that something that has gone by the by.
I am saddened and disgusted about where the press has got to. I highly doubt that this post will make it past the “adjudicators” and stay, but just remember that the more you blatantly lie and try to say that black is white, the more you put off the very people you are trying to brainwash.

The program is broken for yesterday. Beautiful Soup is messing up, though it’s entirely possible that I’m not using it the way it was intended, thus exacerbating the problem.

I’m no fan of Trevor Mallard, but the latest outrage is just ridiculous.

Labour MP Trevor Mallard has also apologised for using a Maori name as a play on words in a social media exchange with Wellington Mayor Justin Lester.
In a Twitter conversation on Saturday, Lester joked with a follower that they would miss his witty repartee if they unfollowed him.

Mallard responded: “Witi Reparti played for Taumaranui” – something he now says was inappropriate.
Porirua City councillor Ana Coffey slammed the exchange, saying Maori names were not to be used as punchlines.
“My name, Ana, isn’t that exotic. But when your name is other or your language is not English it doesn’t feel good to be made fun of.”
It was irresponsible for “people in power” to use other language or cultures as comedy, she said.
Lester said he called Mallard to tell him the joke was inappropriate.
“I thought he was referring to an actual club rugby player from Taumaranui and I joined in with Simon Culhane, a player from my childhood.”
When approached for an interview, Mallard referred to comments he made on social media:
“This is an inappropriate use of 1970s nickname. Not appropriate then and not now. I apologise for using and to anyone who took it seriously.”
Tana (Porirua mayor) said Coffey was right to call out Mallard’s tweet, as names should be treated with respect.

Pauline Hanson has unleashed on the Australian Islamic population, claiming the ‘gutless’ Labor Party have ‘sold their soul for the Muslim vote’ and the government have been hiding information on their impact.

Speaking to the Senate on Wednesday afternoon, Hanson accused the government of ‘hiding evidence of high unemployment and high dependence on social welfare’ to protect the Islamic community.

So how come the media didn’t go hunting for Mr Stanton while all this was going on? He must have had the drawbridge at the castle firmly raised so nobody could get in. In a way, I do feel some sympathy for her as the blow torch was applied as she virtually faced it all alone albeit with support from James Shaw. But I guess that is the price one pays for being caught out. The emotional roller coaster ride she’s been on will surely leave her shaken and stirred…..

  North Korea is China’s and Russia’s ‘pet monster’ which can attack the West generally, and the US in particular, while they maintain plausible deniability.
  
  It could easily and literally ‘explode’ in a heartbeat – same rage as Sublime “Burn it all to the fucking ground”. Except those countries are trying to keep the liberal West out of their societies – as is Turkey.
  
  I’m sure if NK, China, or Russia think they can get away with any form of a ‘small’ strategic strike on the West, they’ll do it. They’ve been ‘grooming’ Europe and the UK for months, if not years, by incursions into their territory by land, sea, and air.
  
  Bill English was a lot more condemning on TV last night of the rhetoric. Meanwhile, the futile UN keeps upping sanctions to no effect and any Security Council action will be roundly vetoed.
  
  Whatever, let’s face it, there’s absolutely nothing Bill English can do. We could always try sending Jacinda – she claims to have sorted out Palestinian/Israeli relations previously, at least between youth.

    I assume that they – or you – assume I was meaning ‘Christian’ – I wasn’t; or heterosexual – I wasn’t. For heaven’s sake – ‘wholesome’ is now politically incorrect?

He lives and speaks with integrity (Yes, I know he’s a politician but he’s not Turei), fronts up to criticism and hard subjects, appears to live a healthy and responsible lifestyle which is an acceptable model for young and all, honours his commitments to himself, his colleagues, his family, and his country.
    
    I have not attacked Ardern. I have said that she is a completely unknown quantity outside of her appearance – which to my mind does not qualify her to be PM. And anyone who thinks it does is not worthy of a vote.
    
    I’ve also said I will assess both Labour and her according to their willingness to respond to what voters want, rather than ideology, and policies – specifically those which will provide significant benefit to the whole country, more particularly the most vulnerable, and specifically in the next three years rather than in some distant future if it pans out well.
    
    If you think that is a ‘personal attack’, well, that’s why I stopped voting for the Left.

        On the one hand, I’ve never seen it. And I could say it shouldn’t be said – it shouldn’t.
        
        On the other hand, it’s a colloquialism from a past generation that goes along with things like ‘old biddy’ and ‘silly bitch’ – and is also presumably some play on words about farming cows, given he’s sitting on a tractor.
        
        There is a difference in context between the sign and walking up to someone saying, “You’re a mad cow’ or “She’s a mad cow” which would be unforgivable.
        
        Brings to mind a situation my father once described, being stuck in a traffic jam in Customs Street, behind a woman who had stalled her car, a Traffic Cop behind her – who turned on his loudspeaker, told all the people hooting and honking to control themselves. He very politely told the woman to take her time, be calm, and restart the car.
        
        She did. And promptly put it in reverse and backed solidly into the Traffic car behind her. Unfortunately, the Traffic Cop forgot he had his loudspeaker on and said, “God. Look what the silly bitch has gone and done now.” Nobody honked anymore – they were paralysed with laughter.
        
        It’s not the best – and I’m sure he’d be crucified for it today. But that was then – and doesn’t equate with him walking up to her and calling her a ‘silly bitch’ which also would have been unforgivable.

  Trump is talking to Kim Jong Un in a language that he actually understands. America now has a president that isn’t afraid to fight back. Gone are the days of strategic talks, red lines, and empty threats. While Kim Jong Un may not listen to Trump, he probably respects the matched bravado.
  
  Kim Jong Un is a dictator. He has no interest in civilized discussion. He’s saber rattling. Trump is now doing it back. And for anybody who doubts this approach, I advise you to take a look at history and see how we got here.
  
  I sleep soundly at night knowing that Trump isn’t afraid to be a man; neither are his top military strategists. They aren’t afraid to protect their own. Trump isn’t apologizing for American world leadership. He’s rising to the occasion. And if it offends you, go to North Korea and do the negotiating yourself.

        The real root cause of WWII was the Versailles Treaty, the wicked impositions it imposed on Germany and the failure of the treaty to incorporate Wilson’s “14 point plan” which encouraged German leaders to stop the slaughter and pursue for peace when they were still deep in French territory.
        
        In particular, the architects of Versailles threw Wilsons “self determination” out the window and created all sorts of bastard countries (the forerunner of multiculturalism) whereby large minorities were ruled over by foreigners.
        
        Fast forward to 1939, Poland, encouraged by the backing of France and the Sassoon family of Britain were persecuting and killing their minority German population (in an area that had been a German territory for hundreds of years) forcing Germany to act.
        
        Even in August 1939, there was still no need for WWII if only Poland would give back to Germany territory that had been German for hundred of years. Remember, France and Britain declared war on Germany first.         Lucia – right up until Hitler invaded Poland, he’d been asking their government to protect the Germans living in the Danzig corridor and when they refused, he demanded that Germany reclaim this land that had been Prussian for centuries.
        
        Err Milkaid – Czech Republic wasn’t an invasion, see above for Poland. Denmark offered free passage on the way to Norway which had given British Naval ships and troops berths in their Harbours thus you can hardly say they were neutral.
        
        I agree with your point on Belgium & Holland who were neutral but how else was one supposed to get around the Maginot Line?
        
        If you are honest with yourself and have actually read any utterances from the German National Socialists, all they desired was to reunite the German people in one country and defeat the Soviet Union.
        
        After witnessing the horrors of the Bolsheviks and what they had done to Christians in Russia/Ukraine, the Nazis rather understandably wanted to neutralise the threat to the European peoples. That is why so many different nations of people joined the Whermacht in the largest multicultural army of all time – to defeat the scourge of Marxism/Bolshevism.

I was watching the ice queen on TV tonight and the camera zoomed up on to her choppers.

They have suddenly enlarged to a size you would normally see in the many cartoons.

They are gynormous.

Cops said they came from a range of countries including Bangladesh, Iran, Pakistan, Albania, Turkey, Iraq, Kurdistan etc

Anything similar about people from these countries that could have led to this offending?
