A prominent Māori GP Dr Rawiri Tipene-Leach, who designed the first flax wahakura 10 years ago is accusing the Ministry of Health of racism for stopping the funding of special baskets to protect babies sleeping with their parents.

I’ve posted before that I think Trump is an awful Presidential candidate (although so is Hillary Clinton), a poor excuse for a Republican and has got bugger all likelihood of winning, IMHO (while acknowledging few “experts” tipped him to get this far, and as long as he is still in the race, he has a chance).

Nonetheless, I caught Willie Jackson and Mary Jane Tomasi on the radio talking like Trump was Satan-incarnate, and then reporting that a group of American women have said they consider the rhetoric of Donald Trump is “unsafe” and “places them in danger”. Wow!

Then I remembered that is the standard reported reaction of “Women”, “Blacks”, “Hispanics”, “LGBT” and any other alleged minority or nonmale and WASP interest group (ok, maybe not Cubans!) to every Republican candidate since, oh…at least Barry Goldwater in 1964.

I see that Turkey is under pressure not to introduce the death penalty. The mere reference to “death penalty” is one of those issues that can quickly divide a roomful of people into supporters and detractors. I’ve always been in two minds about this issue. Ultimately, if I’m honest with myself, it comes down to how much of a bad bugger we’re talking about – does he or she deserve it?

Please consider this bad bugger and let me know if you think he deserves the death penalty or whether we should keep him locked up for the rest of his miserable life.

The article begins innocently enough:

A prisoner dubbed by media as the Northern Territory’s “Hannibal Lecter” has appeared in the Supreme Court threatening misbehaviour and violence unless he is transferred to the Alice Springs prison, because he gets better privileges there.

But this isn’t an article about human rights. If you read on, and don’t mind graphic detail, you’ll find out that this scumbucket committed a truly horrendous crime.

His attitude to prison life:

Albury said if he was transferred back to the Alice Springs facility, staff could “expect one incident a week … in Darwin there will be three to four a week”. “The one in Alice, I’ll just be telling a screw to go and get f**ked. In Darwin, I’ll throw piss, shit, boiling water on them,” he said. … “I’m not going to change my behaviour. I’ve been going with it for 55 years and I’ll go with it for another 55 … if I live that long. “I can do whatever I want … what are they going to do to me?”

A professional opinion:

One specialist noted Albury had a fantasy about “making people frightened that they may be the next to be killed”. “He is not seeking publicity or notoriety. He simply gets pleasure out of the thought of having that degree of control over people,” the assessment found. Albury had fantasised about “terrorising a town by committing casual, motiveless murder for the purpose of making people frightened that they may be the next to be killed,” the psychologist’s report found. “There is a sadistic element to his killing. He derives pleasure from the mutilation of the body of the victim … he says that it ‘makes it interesting’. “He makes it clear that given his casual attitude to murder he would kill again, given the opportunity.”

No prospect of redemption:

In a 2004 letter to prison authorities, Albury said his “chance of re-offending in violent murderous manner is 100 per cent (hopefully soon)”. “I have no wish to die, but as above I am unstoppable, I love my work,” he said. The letter ends: “P.S. — will kill again — it’s what I do for an occupation.”

So the question is: do we pay lots of money to keep these type of “people” (in the broadest sense of the word) locked up for the rest of their miserable lives in the name of a humane society? Like I say, I’m in two minds about the issue, but in some ways I wouldn’t mind if this kind of scumbucket were to have an unfortunate “accident” in prison.

I drove through Mt. Roskill a couple of times to play golf at Akarana and to say that the destination was more interesting than the journey is an understatement.

Almost certainly, as along with their shitty attitudes to western society Muslims bring with them the notion that women are a lesser species deserving of poorer treatment than the family goat.

But more importantly we will probably never hear about it as the scum MSM will refuse to report on anything that might put the kibosh on the government allowing more of their darlings into the country.

Trade Minister Todd McClay says he was told Zespri in China was warned about trade implications against New Zealand companies but dismissed it as “unsubstantiated rumour” after Chinese authorities denied it.

in Indonesia today McClay confirmed when he was in China he was told that “an industry body” had raised concerns with a New Zealand company.

NZ First leader Winston Peters said it was unbelievable Government ministers had not known of Chinese concern.

“After days of obfuscation and denial the Government is now confirming it had knowledge of China approaching New Zealand exporters expressing concerns at legitimate policy concerns back in New Zealand.”

He said the Chinese Government had used the threat of “industry consultation” in the past.

As I’ve said before, Obama is not only gay he’s also a Muslim and his favoured faction is the Muslim Brotherhood. All his moves are for that side. This is a big part of why he’s done what he’s done with Iran. Of course it’s not possible to be anti-Israel seriously and still remain POYUS, look what happened to JFK for example. But his desire to do what he sees as the right thing by Muslims has seen him take Israel on like no other POTUS has ever done. Ever.

Is that good, or bad?

Dairy giant Fonterra told Government officials it had been approached by a Chinese commerce representative, warning of reprisals if they did anything to compromise Chinese steel imports.

It’s the latest revelation in a series of about-turns about the Government’s knowledge of Chinese threats of a wider trade war.

Already, both the Government and kiwifruit giant Zespri have back-pedalled on claims they had not been briefed about Chinese anger. New Zealand officials are looking into allegations it dumped cheap steel on the New Zealand market, and the world’s biggest trading nation has been making its fury known to New Zealand exporters.

Fonterra informed Wellington officials at the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) of the communication. Industry sources said Fonterra trade policy manager Jenny McGregor contacted NZ trade officials last week, to confirm Fonterra’s Beijing office had been contacted earlier in the week by Chinese commerce representatives.

Talking to media in Jakarta, Prime Minister John Key said the Government’s position had not changed. But his language appeared to shift from there being no knowledge of an issue at all to an issue that would not warrant “retaliatory action.

IS has claimed an Afghan teenager who attacked passengers on a train in Germany with an axe on Monday night as one of its ‘fighters’.

Earlier on Tuesday, the interior minister said a hand-drawn Isil flag was found in the room of the 17-year-old, whose attack left three seriously injured.

Funnily enough I used to believe the approved narrative I was fed from an early age (although in America I observe that it is much more all consuming). Until, that is, I stirred myself to get acquainted with all the evidence, pro and con (the reason being that I couldn’t understand the holocaust denial laws in many countries, and rightly smelt a rat).

Having done so last year, I spent months in a state of incandescent outrage. I had fallen for what I and an ever increasing number of ordinary, decent people are finally realising was exactly what what Ms Schaefer (the Green candidate suspended by her party) in the video describes it to be: “the biggest and most pernicious and persistent lie in all of history!”

Most people don’t want to step down that path as it will shatter the comforting narrative they’ve built up all their lives and read about in approved history books. For them, ignorance is indeed bliss.

Shouldn’t there be be a warning at the top of the page for anyone from Mt Roskill accidentally wandering on to here? That they should put their sewer boots on, have pegs on their noses and naturally have had all the necessary vaccinations.
