On a topic DPF has posted extensively on before, have to say that Uber is amazing. Got to London at easter and have used it 20+ times. Will never go back to taxis.

Got a taxi out of necessity a month or so ago. Guy doesn’t accept card payments (and to think these dinosaurs think their anti-competitive behaviour is just ‘levelling the playing field’) so I make him stop at an ATM to get some cash out at the end of the journey. Having done so, as I get out of the cab to walk to the ATM he proceeds to scream abuse at me thinking I’m doing a runner (he had forgotten why we were stopping obviously). He apologetically takes my cash and drives off.

Funny that by far the worst private driving experience I’ve ever had is one of those regulated, trustworthy taxi drivers.

This also is apart from the fact that fares are around a third at most of taxis. Even on a weekend late at night where there is occasionally 1.5 – 2x surge pricing Uber is still always cheaper than a cab.

Never again. Get with the times or wither and die

It looks like the UN are getting back at Tony Abbott for his speech, on migrants, in London recently by having a go at Australia’s policy. They are a bit slow ( as usual) given firstly how the speech was received in Europe ( generally quite positively) but also in the last week or so many European countries are starting to work on ways to close their boarders.

But the Aussie media will lap it up the UN criticism so they can have another go at Abbott.

While travelling to Scotland recently my wife – despite carefully divesting herself of potential terrorist weapons (you know, things like nail-clippers) activated the airport scanner. In her sixties, blond and blue-eyed a less likely terrorist would be hard to imagine. Yet she was forced repeatedly to pass through the device before finally being undergoing a humiliating body search. Which predictably revealed nothing.

Meanwhile a few hundred miles to the south hundreds of thousand of swarthy and angry young men with names like Mohammed and Khaled with enough baggage to accommodate a small arsenal swarm across the EU borders without so much as a cursory check from the authorities. This of course is just an extreme example to highlight the inexplicable nature of European politicians’ support for the brown tsunami engulfing their countries. Because for the average politician such an influx represents unrelieved bad news. Pressure on social services, further limiting access to already crowded schools and hospitals, more taxes to pay for the parasites etc. And not least the inevitable ethnic strife to come.

The spider at the centre of the current web is of course Frau Merkel. Which in one sense is surprising in that five years ago she publicly admitted that multicultural ‘had utterly failed’, and that the whole concept whereby ‘different cultures live side-by-side simply does not work’. The invasion has lead to most other European leaders realising the same thing. (Or admitting it openly anyway as the realisation must have dawned on them years ago.) So now she’s battling bitter opposition on all fronts yet persists in her support.

Why?

My own belief – and that’s all it is, a belief – is that the NWO globalists, especially those at the heart of the American Deep State, have the dirt on her. This would also explain her otherwise inexplicable support for America’s deranged policies on Eastern Europe and Russia even in the face of outraged reaction from virtually the entire German business sector and much of the public. And she also allowed the country’s Federal Intelligence Service collaborate with the N.S.A. in spying on and passing industrial secrets from German advanced technology companies such as EADS and Eurocopter.

Don’t forget that Merkel was a staunch Party member under the former Communist regime in East Germany before magically somersaulting into the united country’s Chancellorship. Who knows what kind of dirt lies under this particular stone? In support of my theory the New York Times has reported that “the N.S.A., in a practice that dates back to the depths of the Cold War and that has never ended, was recording her conversations and those of other top German leaders. It continued to track Ms. Merkel as she ascended to the top of Germany’s political apparatus.”

Maybe I’m wrong but I fail to see any other logical reason for Merkel to enforce a policy that she herself admitted doesn’t work.

We know there are convicted criminals on Christmas Island. we know around 50 of them are NZ citizens awaiting deportation. We
Somehow this is all John Key’s fault.

If RNZ (what can that R stand for?) accepts their news reports from any crim, publicity-seeking MP, completely uncritically, then it is no wonder it is too embarrassed to call itself a radio station.

It is no longer a proper news outlet and this morning’s effort was disgraceful.

We used to – they were known as the BRITISH EMPIRE Games!!! Unfortunately (and, ironically, as a direct result of the actions of a few Germans and an Austrian; with help from the USA and the UN), the Empire is no more and the (now) ‘Commonwealth’ Games are but a shadow of their former selves.

BTW, it was usually the ENGLISH / BRITISH WASPS who tended not to cheat at sport. Them across the ‘Channel (especially the always-perfidious French) were never, ever, be expected to do anything else but…

‘R’ at one time stood for ‘Royal’ as in Royal New Zealand Air Force, and was always on the basis of an especially-issued (conferred) Charter issued by Buckingham Palace. As Radio Red is now using this appellation without benefit of (Royal) Charter, it would seem to be getting ideas well above its station, which given the ‘anti’ right (and by implication anti society / royalty) rhetoric which emanates from them, is somewhat rich.

Perhaps they feel they are being ‘inclusive’?

What do they think NZ can do? Send in its SAS? To back some criminals??????

If criminals in an overseas detention centre riot and arm themselves with machetes etc (one speaking on Radio NZ), some may well end up getting shot.

Nothing NZ Lefties can do about it. Not a helluva lot of sympathy will come from the majority of NZ’ers.

The number of NZ State houses contaminated by methamphetamine is rapidly increasing. 2 years ago 28 State homes needed decontaminating, in the first 1/4 of this financial year it has risen to 174 houses that needed decontaminating. In 2014 Housing NZ spent $2.3m decontaminating almost 230 meth infected houses. Those costs have come out of OUR tax money.

Even just smoking this poison in a house can render it uninhabitable, and particularly dangerous for children even to visit for short periods. Homes that have been used to cook meth have to be completely demolished and in some cases the surrounding soil needs to be removed.

Housing NZ have demolished 14 State houses in the past year. In the next year 600 houses are expected to be decontaminated at a cost of $8,000-$16,000 per house. That cost is met by the taxpayer.

Paula Bennett says it is a privilege to live in a State house and use of meth will not be tolerated.

Sorry Paula, but telling them off for drug behaviour is not adequate to prevent them from ruining State owned assets and costing the taxpayer an ever increasing amount. Time to get tough with these bastards.

Komata – ‘Royal’ with regard to an organisation is a word protected by legislation in NZ. Some years ago a NZ group with Royal buried in its name sought to become an Incorporated Society (HM the Queen is the Patron of the parent organisation). The Registrar would not accept the name without consent from Buckingham Palace. The group wrote to the Palace and consent was given.

Interestingly companies in Holland can seek to use ‘Royal’ in their name if they have been in business for 100 years, ‘Royal Dutch Shell’ is a high profile example.

I would think that with the evidence produced so far, the likelihood that the Russian A321 was brought down in the Sinai by a bomb gets less likely day by day. An explosive noise heard on the cockpit voice recorder could be indistinguishable from the sound of an explosive decompression at 31,000 feet after a major structural failure, or from an explosion in a fuel tank as in the TWA 747 over New York for example. There are very rapid easy tests which positively detect the presence of bomb residues, and it is significant that no such results have been reported so far. There are political reasons (internal and external) why Russia would like these bomb conspiracy theories to continue as long as possible, and so far the Western media seem happy to comply by continuing with stupid reporting, such as “90% chance it was a bomb” statements. Putin will be pleased they are distracting from what may be the real reason – poor maintenance. After all, he didn’t seem to care about the MH17 victims, so letting the apparent blame for his own disaster fall elsewhere suits him just fine. Interesting times.

University Admin: Constitution ‘Offensive, Oppressive, Obscene’

“Yale, Syracuse and Cornell administrators destroyed copies of the U.S. Constitution, referring to the nation’s founding document as “obscene material or proaganda.”

Project Veritas went to the college campuses to hand out miniature copies of the Constitution. After that, a PV journalist went undercover as a student to see how far school administrators would go to be “politically correct.”

The undercover PV journalist approached different school administrators posing as a student who was offended by the act of someone passing out copies of the Constitution on the college campuses.

“It triggered me. I have been trying to deal with it ever since, of why that would be on campus,” the undercover actress told one administrator. “I just see this as such an oppressive document that I was completely shocked to see it on campus.”

She went on to say that the Constitution was discriminatory.

“You will be outraged at what (university officials) do to help one student ‘ease her pain,'” Project Veritas wrote in a statement.

The responses were 100 percent in favor of helping the student ease her distress by destroying the “offensive” copy on the document. ”
