The Auditor-General is keeping it post 2013. No need to look into rash promises made by Nazianal MPs I guess. Maybe McMutton will think it’s safe to come home now. If questioned in the House he can mumble about ‘pending inquiry’.

Ok, on another issue chaps.

It’s now over ten yeas since I have been coming here. I can’t quite remember if it was 2004 or 2005 that I found Kiwiblog. I remember back then the left had this weird site called Kiwiblogblog, it looked exactly the same as DPF’s site but was populated by the same knuckle dragging shite that now populate the Standard and the Daily Bog.

Anyway, over that time some very good members have frequented this site, some are long gone such as Insolent prick’ who was hilarious and Clint Heine was always worth reading. Others such as the perennial parasite Phool Ure have thankfully moved on also. Some are still around, perhaps my favourite commentator of all, Dime, is still around, and, of course who can ever forget D4J and his legendary meltdowns.

One thing I will say though is this, I think I enjoyed this site more when the corrupt Helen Klark was in power, I can work up far more passion fighting against a corrupt Labour government than I can against the insipid Labour lite we have now.

So, who else has been here for at least ten years and what are your memories?

You’re onto it. Education is the only answer short of dragging people off the street & locking them up on suspicion of being gay. That didn’t sort out many problems in Oscar Wilde’s time & it’s fairly doubtful that it would work now.

But how can we improve this education & at what level? You’re probably correct in that the message has to be hammered home before early sexual encounters or experimentation. It leaves only the schools & the parents.

Regrettably few parents are much use in this instance, mostly because they are not ready, on an emotional level, to believe that their pride & joy is taking it up the blurter. In any case the kids would be reluctant to give an indication of their sexual preferences until it was too late, knowing full well the likely impact on their parents.

So that leaves the schools & colleges. They do their best to cover all types of sexuality without making judgement calls but where does this lead? Even on these threads, not a week goes by without some religious, conservative dinosaur condemning a school system that teaches the use & application of contraceptives. As far as they are concerned the stork brings babies while family planning & disease prevention is the work of the devil.

See the problem?

There is a simple formula to getting a hugely upticked post.

Keep it short and sweet
Always attack the all encompassing term “the left”
Blame them for something from Mikeys list.
And never, ever attack National

The problem with that approach though is that is boring. I consider it a post well made if I can slam the Nats from the right and get about 40/60% uptick to downtick ratio.

EAD only if you think you were combating an equal. Red was great at calling people ‘fucking progs’ and dismissing anything he didnt believe in. Now his multis are gone, liberal agendas are more frequently down ticked. Some of the reasons they dont tell is in the real world some kids will end up dead.(Muslims ) shipped back to the islands or beaten and enslaved for life if parents are told.
Or the child will have no choice but to do what the parent or family says.
Often the only ones who are thinking of the kids are the school staff .
Kids in that situation still have to go though the process that involves convincing a series of doctors that an abortion will result in less harm than having the child.
Not easy process for an teenage girl .
School councilors would usually prefer to inform the family but it is the needs of the child that is the first priority for them not the needs of the parents .

Would I ever get angry at her choices, for sure! But I wouldn’t kill her or make her a pariah for them. Personally I would rather know where my child was in her understanding of life

Reality must be looked in the eye. Clinton is a hugely divisive figure, including within her own party – and not primarily because she is a woman. There is the clan question.

What does it say about the meritocratic credentials of the United States that two of the most favoured candidates for 2016 are closely related to recent presidents? Neither is to blame but in my book, this alone would be a reason for both Clinton and Jeb Bush to leave the field. It is also a reason why they may not be electable.

Don’t let the love you have for your daughter blind you to the sheer dysfunctional hellholes that some kids are brought/dragged up in. Alcohol, religion. violence…..it’s all there & maybe not so far distant as you think.

It actually works both ways sometimes the child is intent on keeping the baby yet knows the family would force her to abort.

it is the child who takes priority for the school social staff not the parents wishes.

The idiot woman who started the inquiry really should look at her parenting failures rather than blame the school for her dysfunctional relationship with her daughter.

If they do manage to change a law that is stood since the seventy’s we will see a resurgence in knitting needle abortions and other horrors of the past.

Prime Minister John Key is not ruling out Phil Heatley returning to Cabinet, but is waiting to see if a high level investigation clears him.

An emotional Mr Heatley this morning resigned his housing and fisheries portfolios over misspending the taxpayers’ money and making a wrongful declaration.

Mr Heatley’s accounts have gone to Auditor-General Lyn Provost for analysis and she has also been tasked with working with Ministerial Services to improve the systems and processes around ministerial expenses.

The resignation was over Mr Heatley signing an expense claim for a dinner when in fact the $70 charge was for bottles of wine at a National Party function. It followed other revelations of misspending this week.

Mr Key said that after discussing the issue with Mr Heatley yesterday he recommended Mr Heatley stand down. But Mr Heatley insisted on resigning.

“When the Auditor-General’s report comes back at that point, I will reflect on it but I am not closing the door to him going back. That’s possible,” Mr Key told reporters this afternoon. …..”

I have nothing personal against male homosexuals.

It’s just what they do with each other that seems contratdictory to nature.

And I believe that the more we OK and normalise homoism the more we weaken our own society and give creedence to islam.

Imagine two equal groups of say, parameciums (maybe paramecia)

One homosexual, the other heterosexual.

Which group will prevail in the long run ?

Which group has a future.

Which group will nature eventually eliminate through natural selection ?

Drivers caught over the new but under the old breath alcohol limit account for almost a third of drink driving offences since the law change.

The latest police figures also showed the number of people recorded drink driving at higher levels plummeting.

The limit was cut from 400 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath to 250mcg at the beginning of December 2014.

In the first month, 806 people were caught out, but that number has dropped steadily and was 638 in June.

Police have issued 4917 infringement notices to motorists caught between the new and old limits since the new limit was introduced.

In that same period people blew over the old 400mcg limit 10,081 times.

Well call me surprised.
This revelation comes just a few days after the police admitted they were targeting functions rather than the previous stop anywhere booze bus stops.

So no random stops on busy roads but the worst offenders are no longer being caught.

It’s spurious to think that drink drivers have changed their habits because those that drive these things changed the limit.
