Milne calls Dalziel neo-liberal

Labour’s Christchurch Central candidate Tony Milne facebooked:

All over the world people are desperately crying out for solutions that move us away from the failed neo-liberal experiment of the past 30 years. Policies such as asset sales that widened the gap between the rich and everyone else.

Post-earthquake Christchurch is an important test – can the burden as well as the opportunities be shared collectively in a fair way.

Even Michael Cullen has pointed out that people who call the National Government neo-liberal are stupid and don’t know what they are talking about. By that standard, calling Lianne Dalziel neo-liberal is an even stupider thing to say. Some on the left seem to think it is just a term of insult to use against anything they don’t like.
