Japanese hot spring closed down because of ‘orgies’

A popular Japanese hot spring has been closed after complaints bathers were using the open-air baths for orgies.

The Fudo-no-yu spa – or onsen – in Tochigi prefecture near Tokyo is famous for its tranquil mountain forest setting, surrounded by trees. But the secluded spring became the site of lewd acts, thanks to a group of exhibitionists who took advantage of the onsen’s honesty box system. Up to 15 middle-aged men and several young women regularly descended on the unsupervised onsen to partake in orgies, according to the Tokyo Reporter.

The baths were also plagued by voyeurs taking photos of other bathers and shooting adult videos, footage of which ended up online. In addition, one man told the Sankei Shimbun there were reports of women’s underwear and purses being stolen.

I used to as it was the only place in Wellington I could get the skincare I used, otherwise I would have had to go to Auckland. I didn’t really buy anything else there though.

Scott Watson’s father celebrates court ruling

The father of convicted double killer Scott Watson is tonight celebrating his family’s “first real win in the courts” after a judge ruled his son can meet a journalist behind bars and break a 17-year silence.

Watson is currently serving a life sentence for the 1998 New Year’s Day murders of Ben Smart and Olivia Hope in the Marlborough Sounds. He is up for parole next month.

He sought a judicial review at the High Court at Christchurch last month after claiming that the chief executive of Corrections refused him a meeting with investigative journalist Mike White where he could tell his side of the mysterious story.

Watson had been allowed to write to Mr White, but Corrections deemed that a face-to-face meeting would have caused too much distress for the Smart and Hope families.

But in a “damning” ruling out today, Justice Rachel Dunningham found Corrections’ stance to have been “unreasonable” and quashed their decision.

She said there had been “no rational basis” for declining a sit-down interview between Watson, and Mr White, who in 2007 wrote a North and South article that raised “mounting doubts police got the right man”.

There are a number of cases that don’t make sense which the legal system has problems acknowledging and pretends don’t exist and because our media are so profoundly useless these cases don’t get raised.

Ellis is the absolute standout, a flaming-letter million-mile-high standout.

Stepping back from there you have of course Bain, Tamihere, Watson and some others which slip my mind.

My question to the legal people is: I understand why the system needs to keep the perception of justice in the public mind and part of that is not admitting to mistakes every five minutes because who can stand a flaky system. But the cases that are in the public’s mind aren’t that numerous, and how the fuck does the incredible unbelievable extraordinary obduracy displayed by the system, benefit in that perception.

All most people have concluded, by my reading, is that the system is heartless, uncaring, and frankly, terrifying.

If that’s what the system wishes to engender in the people it purports to operate to protect, then that doesn’t seem to me to be a very good thing.

That’s what I think Nosty.

Yet somehow everyone muddled through.

Yes.

There was a small thing where the world was a micro-millimetre away from thermo-nuclear war, but let’s just ignore that, shall we?

For those who read the newspaper and “watch the news” generally take it at face value that China appears to be autonomous because the Communists came to power spouting nationalist slogans ( despite the fact they were funded by Wall Street). The reasoning was that the Chinese people would revolt against overt foreign domination, but embrace their place in the NWO if they believed they were in control. It’s was basically the same takeover method they used to put the Bolsheviks in power.

I see the Spratleys as another potential powder keg for WW3. The so called Chinese “economic miracle” (I.e. Western style credit bubble) is bursting and the elites need to divert the peons attention away from the mess they’ve created. The wealthy are getting out and buying up prime Western Real Estate and businesses while the elite need to focus the peons anger at external forces. Works every time.

I think Scott Watson was quietly and systematically set up over a long period of time. The boatman who took the kids out is absolutely certain they climbed aboard a boat that didn’t match Watson’s boat in any shape or form. That boat existed and disappeared.

Anyone with any analytical skills at all who took the time to study the Bain case would wonder how there could be the slightest doubt who killed the family. The evidence is all there short of an actual video of the course of events.

Peter Ellis has been wronged in a way that is impossible to believe could happen. No other profession could get away with such a FUCKING BIG LIE.

I don’t know enough about the Watson case to have an informed view regarding guilt or innocence.

I’ve read the judgment. The key reasoning is set out at paragraphs [48] and [49]:

To summarise, in the prison context, I accept it is appropriate to accord weight to the Chief Executive [of the Department of Corrections]’s assessment of what is required to ensure the security and good order of the prison. I also accept that a prisoner’s right to freedom of expression is necessarily limited, both because that is inherent in the punishment imposed, and for reasons related to the effective administration of the prison.

However, the courts have regularly recognised that the right to express concerns about an alleged miscarriage of justice is a legitimate exception to those restrictions and there is both an individual, and a public, interest in facilitating a prisoner’s ability to ventilate these issues where that can be done in a responsible and considered way. In this area, the Chief Executive is not in any better position than the courts to judge how concerns about the interests of the victims should be weighed against the protection of the right affirmed in s 14 of [the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990].

Here’s the essence of the judge’s ruling:

1. The right to freedom of expression is an important constitutional right.
2. A serving prisoner may have a limited, not full, right to freedom of expression.
3. In this case, the Chief Executive allowed Watson to communicate with a journalist through written correspondence, so his refusal to allow an interview (on the basis that the interview would have an adverse effect on victim’s families) was unreasonable in an administrative law sense.
4. The purpose of the interview (to allow a journalist to investigate Watson’s assertion that he’s a victim of a miscarriage of justice) was a factor that points strongly in favour of allowing the interview.

So, overall, I can see how the judge came to her conclusion.

I imagine, though, that people who think Watson is guilty will be annoyed that he’s allowed to speak to the media (claiming innocence) from behind bars.

Wikileaks TISA dump makes a mockery of secrecy, exposes NZ’s extreme position

In the largest ever leak of documents from a ‘trade’ negotiation, Wikileaks has posted a raft of texts and documents tabled in the Trade in Services Agreement negotiations. The topics range from finance, post and transport to professional services and domestic regulation.

‘This leak sends a resounding message to countries that are determined to negotiate TISA in the shadows of the World Trade Organisation’, said trade in services expert Professor Jane Kelsey from the University of Auckland.

‘The 24 parties, including New Zealand, have tried to shroud this deal in even more secrecy than the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA). Documents are to remain secret until 5 years after the agreement comes into force or negotiations are formally terminated. That’s clearly not going to happen.’

There is a stocktaking meeting in Geneva early July. Professor Kelsey urged the parties to revoke their secrecy pact and resolve to release all the documents, as some TISA countries have begun to do unilaterally.

Among the leaks are updates on financial services and e-commerce texts that were first posted last year. According to Professor Kelsey, they confirm that the world’s most powerful services exporters, acting on behalf of their corporations, refuse to learn any lessons from the global financial crisis and want instead to intensify the risks from barely regulated cross border finance.

‘The e-commerce chapter remains equally worrying’, Professor Kelsey said. ‘They could limit or even prevent governments from requiring firms to hold data locally, and allow them to choose to store it offshore in countries with minimal privacy protection and intrusive spying laws’.

New Zealand’s role stands starkly exposed, most notably by the domestic regulation text. Having failed to get WTO members to agree to extreme neoliberal ‘disciplines’ that require them to adopt light-handed and risk-tolerant approaches to regulation, it is pushing this aggressively through TISA.

‘That failed model brought us finance company collapses, leaky buildings, the Pike River mining disaster, elder-abuse in our rest homes’, Kelsey said.

‘The National government recklessly locked New Zealand governments into this model through the free trade deal with South Korea. Now it wants to bind all the other TISA governments to do the same. If the government has its way, this extreme position will ultimately end up being imposed on the entire 160 members of the WTO, including some of the world’s most vulnerable countries.’

‘Just as growing numbers of New Zealanders have challenged the back door dealings in the TPPA, they need to send the same message over TISA and any other secret negotiation over which we have no say.’

Sean Plunket is a journalist whose opinion I respect and he said that his journalist father, who covered Watson’s trial from go to whoa thought that Watson is probably guilty but maybe shouldn’t have been found guilty based on the evidence presented at his trial.

Re: your question on China, it’s the same as your question on Putin.

We’re all being played like violins. All of us. All the time. The question is how many veils we see through at any given time.

And that’s a life question not a point question re: a particular issue.

If you want my take on it as it stands now.

The NWO like any organisation has disagreements, power plays, factions, etc. Just because they all ultimately report to and worship Satan doesn’t mean they all sing from the same hymnbook at any given moment in time.

And because the NWO operates over timeframes of centuries as a matter of course, there is no reason to think there won’t be conflicts lasting decades if not indeed, centuries.

I think personally you can tell by looking at the way an empire treats its people. What did China do to the man at the tank in T Square? What happened to him?

How did the UK colonialists subdue the natives in the lands it conquered? (I was reading the other day it’s SoP was to capture the strongest man in a village and shackle him up in public. The officer then proceeded to sodomise him in front of all the other villagers. How public school. How “humane.” That’s who we, of course, are descended from.

Most importantly, how effective. Is that the most important measure? Is it the result, or is it how you get there, which counts the most? If it’s the latter, then how come our societies, all of them, are designed along the lines of the former?

And so on.

Those are the questions you raise EAD and they’re damn good ones.

I just wish you and I and a few others could at least have an intelligent debate on here about these matters, along with the minds of many others here, without the majority of people getting all confused and mistaking it for example as an attack on certain groups, simply because that’s how the propaganda has taught them how to think and they don’t know any different.

@Scott cheers for that! It just amazes me how on some of the most benign of comments someone downticks, personally I just think it is someone who doesn’t like me, and will downtick whatever I say.

I might try an experiment and say something really inoffensive and benign in GD and see how many downticks it gets….

Maybe I could try and guess who it was, hunt out the person so to speak, though that would mean more time over at TS to try and get ideas how to conduct a witch hunt, and I think one visit there every day or two is enough.

Thanks for your considered response. You are correct on there being so many levels to the deceptions pulled on us by the NWO. Fortunately the web has come along which been an invaluable tool in enabling us to see how the great games works and expose their nefarious actions. For example I remember there was a poll recently that showed only 16% of the American public believed the official fable of what happened on 9/11. Likewise, the considerable doubt thrown on official versions of the Malaysian Airlines planes and recent “terrorist” incidents.

I don’t think they ever foresaw the development of the web in their plans and it’s great ability to disseminate this information which is why they are currently in overdrive promoting the multiculturalism, feminism, sexism, Islam is evil memes to further divide us against ourselves rather than seeing the great evil before us as more and more and people wake up to what is really going on around us.

I don’t think so either because they were using computer models of society that weren’t programmed to calculate it, but you can guarantee they now have an extremely accurate social model of the interweb and have had since the early 1990’s. They have seen where we’re at, coming, for 20 years.

They have let this propagate for a reason. They could have shut it down many times for many reasons. You know about Internet2 I assume and that’s their backout plan if things get unmanageable.

They just engineer a nuke or a power grid outage, blame it on tewwowists and usher in I2, and control all the site setup processes rather than let it run free as they have. Voila.

But they’re not superbeings, they don’t know everything and they don’t get their own way all the time. We good guys have multiple parties helping us as well as sabotaging them.

But you can tell they’re pushing the envelope now. They’re putting through so many outrageously obvious plays, just to see who wakes up. And so far they’re grinning in their masks aren’t they. So few are.

Who knows what they’re reading into that.

Just stunning though, isn’t it.

They’re a hundred times more obvious than in the 60’s, the information establishing them is a thousand even a million times more available than in the 60’s, and still, still, the morons cover their ignorance with cognitive dissonance that a 2 year old could crack if they set their minds on it.

The children of these morons are going to look at this period in history in 40 years, and curse them for being the roaring galloping mentals they in fact have proved themselves to be. Sad they’re going to be doing that from behind the prison walls isn’t it.
