Wasabi flavoured icecream?

Yes, I’ve tried it in the mountains in Nagano Prefecture at some of the places where they grow wasabi. There’s often a little wasabi icecream machine booth in the souvenir shop at these wasabi farms. It’s actually quite good.

I wonder if anyone will make miso chocolate. That could work….

Just on the weird flavoured food (in light of posts on wasabi ice cream and vegemite chocolate), here in china they have cucumber flavoured potato chips – and yes they really do taste like cucumber! There are some other weird flavoured potato chips too, but that is the only one I have actually tried.

Good news in the UK. The Conservative Party is on track to achieve what nobody thought possible, win an outright majority. Labour has lost Scotland to the SNP, and failed to win enough in England. There is already talk of Miliband resigning.

UKIP have not had the result they wanted, or that their supporters claimed they would. At best they may take two seats, but Farrage has lost his. After all the rhetoric from their followers, they turned out to be, well, a little on the limp side. 😉

Best news of the day though is that odious Islamic terrorist supporter, Jew hater and anti-American nutjob George Galloway has lost his seat and is under police investigation for tweeting the exit poll results before the booths had closed.

All in all, bloody good news! 🙂

Tories – 262 seats – 40% of the vote.

Labour – 214 seats – 33% of the vote.

SNP – 56 seats – 9% of the vote.

Lib Dems – 8 seats – 1% of the vote.

Shawn,

Most people put Japan in the “too hard” basket, but really, it’s not. With the $NZ so strong against the yen, it’s the best and most under-rated place to go. Just 10 and a half hours from Auckland to Tokyo.

It is a foodies’ heaven. Far safer than NZ. Cheaper than Auckland.

There’s so much information on the Internet, like blogs and YouTube videos.

You’ll get so much more if you educate yourself before you go to Japan. A little learning really does go a long way.

Labour 239.
Lib Dems 10.
Scottish Nationalist 58.
Plaid Cymru 4
UKIP 2
Greens 2

UK Labour Party getting a good old fashioned hiding (they are in tatters) in their election today. Like Jim Bolger said, “bugger the pollsters”. It seems the polls leading up to today were not the true feelings of the electorate going by the exit polls and the actual count. I think many of those polled told the pollsters “porkies” and didn’t want them to know they were going to vote Conservative.
Most Western democracies are governed by centre-right governments with the exceptions of USA, France & Greece (basket case anyway so it’s no wonder they changed).

Liarbore’s route is almost 100% due to the SNP (Scottish Nationalist Party). Take one, win one.

That’s what the graph is showing.

And then you have the Conservatives taking the bulk of the lost Lib Dem seats but they also leak some to both Liarbore and the SNP.

So it’s the Scots announcing they’re the new swinging dicks in town and the UKIP is no more.

Cameron has said he wanted to settle the UK-in-EU question once and for all and I think this is what the political class will now do, take this as that answer and formalise it via referenda. That’s their plan. It’s not correct or right to do it like that, but that’s what they’ll do, and as in NZ, the sheeple will bleat and baa and the question will pass into history.

And the SNP is signalling it’s back on the table, because that referenda was rigged to hell, and they needed a steam valve. So let’s just get them into the Westminster Cauldron and boil it all down and let the sheeple hallucinate they have a say, even when they don’t.

It seems the polls leading up to today were not the true feelings of the electorate going by the exit polls and the actual count.

Or alternatively yes they were but that didn’t suit the agenda so the results were changed to what they should have been had the people possessed any sense at all.

Bizzare politics.
So the Tories look like they will win.Fine. I would not want to see Millibandit as leader.

Once again we have a situation where people have voted for safety. They don’t want the other lot. Labour here and there have had their day.They don’t represent anyone anymore.

Only trouble is the people are going to get more of the same.No one is going to tackle the problems that need to be tackled and listening to Cameron just now is a major concern as he is carried away with the moment and appears more interested in ruling rather than leading.
Maybe I am wrong.

Lib Dems lost 23 so far to Conservative. Question is: why. Cameron’s hopeless. He is. He doesn’t match LD profiles at all. I’m not a fan of Clegg but what the hell did the Conservatives do to leech 23 seats off them?

Razor-thin majority including Lib Dems or alternatively a large majority with SNP but which comes with the baggage of a single agenda. That’s the choice.

It’s a tail wag dog coalition no matter which way its sliced and diced.

So why do you think that’s a good idea Shawn?

It’s almost as if you’re completely fixated on a single enemy target and nothing else matters. How extraordinary.

Reid, the Tories already have 323 seats with 12 still to final and are forecast to win an absolute majority. They do not need outside support for confidence and supply.

Their options on legislation before the House, in the event of a backbench revolt, include LD and DUF.

How can the Auckland Council be “corporate controlled”? It is a communist cesspit heading for bankruptcy. I don’t think you know what “corporate” means.
