Sofia, seeking an application for a Declaratory Judgment in the High Court on the validity of my rates assessments and rates invoices is a separate and parallel action.

As is an internal Auckland Council inquiry as to why Auckland Council continued to oppose my application to set aside a fundamentally flawed judgment based upon fundamentally flawed evidence, when their lawyer(s) knew of mistakes therein?

How much did that cost Auckland Council citizens and ratepayers to persecute and prosecute me?

(Great to have an effectively bottomless pit of public money to use against the public and the public interest – and try to
‘neck stamp’ an anti-corruption ‘whistle-blower’ who’s been asking WAY too many HARD questions, and taking action which cannot be ignored?)

Neither of the above-mentioned actions have commenced – yet – but some preliminary work has been done ….

I was going to agree with you until you said this:

Yes, even a baby 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 second old, is evil. Or it can be. If it cries when it doesn’t really need something. Just to get attention. The instant any baby does that, it sins.

Thankfully, there is such a thing as the age of reason, when a child is mature enough to be capable of sin. Catholics consider that to be about age 7, not when the child is in the process of being born as you imply with all your zeros behind the point.

Yes. clearly it’s sparked debate Lucia. Shame. The question of evil deserves more consideration than getting diverted by sideline hysteria on when it starts to apply.

As you know, biblically, we’re born into sin. God didn’t specify a timeframe. But that’s more a question for those of us who know a few things about it to discuss, rather than neophytes who don’t even have the 101.

Yes, we are born into sin – but that’s Original Sin that is passed down, not personal sin. Personal sin does not take effect until we know what we are doing.

In my considered opinion, Renderer, you are a gutless hypocrite who must have something to hide – or you’d put YOUR name to your posts, so some ‘due diligence’ could equally be applied to yourself?

So compassionate is the Catholic church that until very recently they were happy to tell the parents of children who had died before being baptised that because the child would spend eternity in ‘limbo’. No heaven for the child.

Just another reason the Catholic church (along with Islam) is the epitome of evil.

Or if you have you’ve clearly been remarkably ineffective since one has neither heard nor seen any of your preventive attempts.

So what does make you, BB, in terms of the well known: “all it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to stand aside and do nothing” bit?

Original sin is a device to explain why something said to be created in Gods image is not like God.

Not being of the nature of God, an eternal being with the qualities of God – being mortal and of “undeveloped” character.

The nature and nurture element is in humanity being bound by the desires of the flesh and being nurtured by and exposed to other beings of less than perfect character.

The difference between sin and evil is significant, falling short of perfection is inevitable regardless of good intentions but deliberate wilful selfish wrongdoing that actively harms others is something else.

PS The word evil is a loaded one, it’s a bit like the presumption that God is male – connecting deliberate wrong doing to Eve and her not being an obedient wearer of a veil. Everywoman both revels in and is repulsed by the fact that men are easily reduced to being exposed as selfish pricks.
