The Georgians then sensibly did the right thing and voted Saakashvilli out of office. There is currently an arrest warrent for him with interpol because Georgia wants to prosecute him on corruption charges.

AS for the destruction of Yugoslavia Shawn well that would take all night to expose the lies that were told over that by Bill Clinton whose name of course is a byword for lying

I said the USA supported the Islamists fight against Russia. They went really quiet about that support after the Boston bombing didn’t they ?

Yet they had no trouble with Russia suffering horrific terrorist attacks by radical Muslims.

Crimea part of Ukraine ? The overwhelming majority of Crimean’s don’t appear to think so.

Crimea has been part of Russia since they took it from the Ottomans in the 1700’s. Do you suggest we give it back to Turkey and if not why ?

Andrei, and many people warned Obama he was sponsoring radical Islamists in Syria, who would get out of control. But the goal was always to weaken and divide the Arab world, to please Israel. A pretext to re-start the Iraq war was an added bonus. When in Syria they are freedom fighters and by simply crossing the border they are ISIS.

Another highlight of Obama’s term is re-starting the cold-war.

Kea, the history of the Crimean Khananate is certainly a long and complicated one .Origanally a vassal state of the Ottomans they virtually became a vassal state of the Russians after the conclusion of the the Turkic Russian wars late 18th century .Threrefore with typically most things under the Tsars it became apart of the Russian Empire by right of conquest.,
