Had reason to look at Tv3 last night and was disgusted to hear a painted bimbo referring to our popular and successful PM by his surname, only to be followed by reference to Union Andy (the one even Waitangi attendees ignored) being given the courtesy of “Andrew”. Is it a prerequisite for MSM employment to display ignorance and discourtesy to the PM by referring to him in such fashion. Do these losers not realise the advertisers that keep them in a job have their products supported by those they demean, not the left-wing leeches they are loyal to?

The BBC is claiming that an American female hostage has been killed in an air strike by Jordan on Raqqa, the basis for their news story to this effect, IS claimed this happened.

This after the female prisoner in Jordan they wanted released was killed in response to their pilot burning video.

Huge coincidences.

More likely IS is lying.

This is the result of allowing an HIV+ mother to immigrate to NZ.

The boy is now 9. It hard to say how long ago the family immigrated how.

Why were they not tested for HIV?

I quote from the AIDS Foundation.

Mr Robinson said the critical decision for clinicians and patients was the point at which medication was required. This is decided by monitoring the white blood cells that are a critical part of the immune system.

When to tell a child he or she was HIV positive was decided between family and doctors. It was a balance between managing a life-long disease and protecting a child from prejudice.

Mr Robinson said there were a mix of different reactions to an HIV diagnosis. “Quite often, people will go into denial.”

The AIDS Foundation should but out. The health of the child in this case children as his sister also has HIV should come ahead of consideration of prejudice. The sister is older and could all ready be sexually active so the health of the public should be a major factor.

Even telling the children they are HIV+ does not adequately protect the public as someone who knows they are HIV+ positive has no legal obligation to tell their sexual partners provided they use a condom. This law should change.

I don’t the Prime Minister is loosing sleep over the niceties of address etiquette that medua may or may not choose to follow ..The US president will also be aware that there are elements in the US media who choose not to be guided by any standards of address etiquette towards him.

So John Key has told Maori at Waitangi that he is going to consult Maori about the design of our new flag. Just what do you mean by ‘consulting’ Maori, which Maori will you be consulting and when will you be doing this, John?

Will you be getting Maori input into the 4 designs that the ‘independent’ committee will be selecting? Or will you be getting Maori input into the final design chosen by the referendum? Or must each of the 4 designs chosen have a Maori motif. Or is it after the referendum that will you be consulting Maori?

And which Maori will you be consulting? What about my grand-daughter who is half Tongan, 1/3rd European and maybe 1/6th Maori? Will she get ‘consulted’? Does this mean that Maori will be consulted more than any other racial group in New Zealand? So many questions and so many answers to be given, John.

I have said all along that this flag issue will end in tears and I fear that John Key is doing all he can to ensure that I am proven correct.

NOT a good look for (part time) Prime Minister John Key, particularly now that Police Commissioner Bush has gone public saying that the Police DID follow the ‘no surprises’ policy, regarding their investigation of Mike Sabin?

Surely it beggars belief that John Key WASN’T informed of the Police investigation of (then) National MP for Northland prior to the 2014 election, and prior to the selection of Mike Sabin as Chair of the Law and Order Select Committee?

Seriously?

Looks like John Key is going to get REAMED on this issue at Question Time in the House!

However, as I keep saying, how can the public expect the ‘highest ethical standards’ from a (part time) Prime Minister, whose moral compass, in my opinion, is stuck on Wall Street?

I predict that when the tide of public opinion turns against John Key on this issue – then it will potentially dwarf Tony Abbott’s decision to give a knighthood to a member of the Royal family on Australia Day?

If it’s true that the allegations against (former) National MP Mike Sabin are that he is under Police investigation for purported crimes that involve small children – how well is THAT going to go down with ‘Mum and Dad’ New Zealanders?

Yes indeed, we are all to be consulted through two referenda- and maybe the flag design committee may even give us all a say in the choice of the 4 designs. That is democracy. But if we are all to be consulted equally in this way then why did John Key feel the need to tell those at Waitangi that he will specifically ‘consult’ Maori. This indicates to me- and I have no doubt it did to those present- that there is also to be a ‘consultation’ with Maori over and above the referenda in which all New Zealanders will be able to make their views known. That is not democracy; it is giving one group of New Zealanders more say than others.

You are being deliberately obtuse, I fear. What a surprise.

I see DPF got a mention in Duncan Garner’s opinion piece in this mornings Dompost.
Back in 1996 Garner and a girlfriend ended up “rolling around” on the floor of a junior cabinet minister’s office in Bowen House after a National Party “caucus event” [code for boozy night]. But it turned out she got a phone call from Parliament’s chief pigeon, David Farrar. He knew everyone, according to Garner,and news travelled fast and he couldn’t wait to tell his boss.

Following on from yesterdays water discussion
I have water storage at my factory. 180,000 litres, because the local council couldn’t guarantee me supply. The tanks fill up from the roof. Good fresh FREE water.
Just down the road the warehouse have a big huge distribution center. About 10-15 times the size of my place. They are not allowed to collect the water off their roof because it would deprive the waikato river of its water…..

I kid you not.

John Jamieson’s appointment as the head of the New Zealand Catholic Churches National Office for Professional Standards (prof.standards@xtra.co.nz) was not surprising. The media reports were quick to point out that Jamieson is not a Catholic; an attempt to imply true independence. Jamieson of course was on the face of it qualified, having been a senior Police officer.

The underlying qualification of interest to the Bishops at the time however would have been far more sinister.

Jamieson had ruled over a particularly corrupt period in the New Zealand Police forces history from 1989 to 1993 as Commissioner and prior to that during the 1980’s as District Commander, Christchurch.

Later revealed was the fact that throughout the 1980’s and early 1990’s Police hierarchy had been complicit in covering up serious misconduct and sexual abuse perpetrated by police officers in Christchurch, Dunedin and Rotorua.

Jamieson and his minions were very successful in burying scandals.

Jamieson additionally oversaw the creation and maintenance of a particularly sick culture in the Christchurch C.I.B. The very same C.I.B that saw the staff in the now infamous Civic Creche case falsely accused and outrageously charged . In the minds of a high percentage of New Zealanders Peter Ellis was wrongly convicted and the investigation tainted by incompetence and misconduct on the part of the investigating Police Officers; all under Jamieson’s watch.

The fact that Jamieson was not a Catholic, whilst no doubt helpful to the Church in establishing the illusion of independence, has always been totally irrelevant. Jamieson had for many years fostered a very close association with senior clergy, in the past using this access for his own sinister benefit and that of his corrupt subordinates.

The writer’s interest is twofold, having been in a Catholic Institution as a child and the victim of abuse. Secondly, having personal experience of Jamieson’s use of his connections with senior clergy, Bishops Brian Ashby and Denis Hanrahan to thwart efforts to bring an end to the offending of corrupt policeman Constable Stanley Matthew Willcox.

At the time 24 years old and having recently returned from Australia where I had been working towards entering seminary and had decided to train in New Zealand. My reasons were simple I had a strong but naive desire to bring change to the church that was responsible for my own suffering.

Is banned by Auckland Council. It is the freshest water available, but it is only allowed to be used for watering the garden and flushing toilets.

Unless you live in an area that they do not supply, then it is perfectly adequate.

I did look at putting in a rainwater tank to supplement the Council supply and as an emergency back up if there supply failed for some reason.

Look at stonefileds development in Mt Wellington Council objected to there recycling of rain water for garden use and had it disconnected.

I wonder at the sub morons climbing into JK for staying tight lipped about (former) MPs facing police investigations. Has it occurred to any of the meatheads that any statements our PM makes could be used in court to argue that an accused could not get a fair trial because of advanced publicity?

While I’m all for us abolishing the farce of name suppression & allowing full publicity such as serves the USA well, so long as we’re stuck with the dog of a system that protects miscreants more than victims then everyone including parliamentarians has to mind what they say.

Imagine a mythical case where a suspected sex offender or similar got off because of something JK said…..Penny Bright & her scum MSM mates would go troppo!

Hager’s property, seized in the raid on his house prompted by the Slater stolen emails inquiry, still awaits examination because Hager states the seized material also may include work he was preparing on police corruption, so it is inappropriate police examine that material.
What possible police corruption, and why was it not reported to appropriate authorities for action, or is it not of any great consequence after all?

I wonder at the sub morons climbing into JK for staying tight lipped about (former) MPs facing police investigations. Has it occurred to any of the meatheads that any statements our PM makes could be used in court to argue that an accused could not get a fair trial because of advanced publicity?

And given the nature of those, it’s possible he’ll get permanent name suppression, which is obviously what Key is banking on to get him off the hook. But he has showed appalling judgement over this, for no reason in particular, in that, he had all the cards, and its him who chose to play them extremely badly.

nasska he didn’t have to SAY anything. All he needed to DO was to get Sabin to stand down from the Law and Order Select Committee in December for “family reasons” or some other bollocks and Sabin could have handled that himself. And if he tried to do that and Sabin refused then and only then should he have stepped in and fired him and he could have done it in the same way, making up some excuse.

The issue is, Key has bungled this, badly. Then he exacerbated his bungling by making an entirely unprovoked comment a week ago to the effect Sabin was on the fast track to be a minister, leaping him over various other more experienced MP’s. Key didn’t have to say that, he could have said nothing at all, but he did. And that’s even worse than not standing him down from the committee in December.

And NONE of that bungling was caused by the nature of the issue Sabin is facing. As in, just because Sabin is facing what he is facing, that DOES NOT MEAN that Key’s hand were tied and he was forced to act in the way he has over this. THAT IS NOT THE CASE.

Came across this interesting site the other day, it has a section on the Christchurch earthquake, listing the interesting coincidences surrounding it, like the fact we were conducting a big (for us) joint forces exercise just down the road. How convenient. And as anyone who knows about these things also knows, this is precisely what also happened on 911 in the US and 7/7 in the UK as well.

But, have you polled all your wonderful neighbours whether they would vote for Sharia Law in New Zealand once they have the numbers? And have you had any discussions with them about Muslim taqiyya and what their position is on it. Of course you will need to keep in mind that they may be using taqiyya to justify their responses to you.

Of course, Kiwis are “special” and the problems that all western countries have had overseas when the muslim population got to 2% (only 0.9 % to go) just simply won’t happen here. Because the progressives say it won’t.

But let us not be burdened by the empirical evidence when we should celebrate Home Secretary Theresa May appointing any Kiwi after the first two appointees (Fiona Woolf and Elizabeth Butler-Sloss) crashed and burned. Labour MP Simon Danczuk also released a statement saying, “It is obvious that the home secretary has cast the net far and wide in order to find an appropriate person and I applaud her for doing so.”

‘Far and wide’? Certainly ‘far’. But let the Brits learn first-hand the hazards of deep sea fishing. Too often you risk pulling up useless debris from the bottom because you capriciously cast your net in shallow waters.

The big question in the U.K. must be why Home Secretary Theresa May picked Goddard when her due diligence determined lawyers in New Zealand broadly consider Ms Goddard a political puppet. Question asked and answered?

One can only hope no prohibition on investigative reporting of Goddard J exists in the U.K. as there is at home where the honourable judge writes her own press and zealously orchestrates her public image. Her resume says she is at the forefront of human rights and women’s rights and Maori rights. A more impeccably manicured person you will likely never see. Busy lady.

Contrast Goddard J’s facade with her legacy. She was appointed to the Independent Police Conduct Authority after she complained sitting on long cases in the High Court was too stressful on her back. Her days on the IPCA were mired in secrecy, political manoeuvring and tardy rulings. She routinely sided with Crown immunity, suppression of information and against human rights. Even where public pressure was so great as to force a ruling police had acted oppressively, as in police restraints on peaceful protests during the 1999 visit of the Chinese President, her finding was released 8 years after the fact.

Ever the equal opportunity disheveller, Lowell Goddard had a hand in derailing at least one police investigation into criminal judicial conduct, in 1994, when she was deputy solicitor general. In 2007 she helped appoint the alleged criminal offender (Michael Lance) as her deputy at the IPCA (refer to story on Judge Michael Lance in Goddard J’s bio). Her deputy was soon forced to resign after being criminally charged by police for key cars in front of his apartment. The Hansard (Parliamentary) record recorded at the time Goddard and the Chief Justice “recommend (Michael Lance) as a sound appointment choice”.

So what did the Home Secretary mean when she assured MPs this week that Goddard’s Inquiry will not be thwarted by the Official Secrets Act in an investigation which will delve into governmental department files in circumstances where there appears to be complicity by officials in the scandal? A hint might lie in comments of the ‘fixer’ Home Secretary May has appointed. “The inquiry will be long, challenging and complex,” forewarned Goddard J.

Experience tells us you can take Goddard J’s assessment to the bank. Hopefully the British prefer an exhaustive and complex inquiry to an accurate and transparent outcome. ”

Prime Minister John Key yesterday refused to comment, instead directing media queries to police. However, police also refused to confirm either receiving a complaint or any investigation into allegations against the former detective and anti-methamphetamine campaigner.

Nevertheless, the Herald understands senior Northland National Party figures have already been discussing potential candidates to replace him in the event of a byelection.

A National Party MP at the centre of reports he is being investigated by police over an alleged assault will remain as chairman of the law and order select committee in Parliament.

Northland MP Mike Sabin, 46, has gone to ground since reports emerged late last year that he was under investigation by police after a complaint had been laid against him.

Neither Mr Sabin, Prime Minister John Key nor the police have confirmed the reports.

This morning, Mr Key said he was comfortable with Mr Sabin holding the role of chairman of the law and order select committee.

MP Sabin to grill cops

Mike Sabin, the MP under police investigation for assault, is set to grill senior cops as part of an annual review.

Sabin is chairman of Parliament’s law and order select committee. His boss, Prime Minister John Key indicated this week he was “happy” for the Northland MP to remain in the job. He is refusing to confirm Sabin is under investigation or comment on the second-term MP’s future.

Looking forward to the political ‘feather dustering’ of (part-time) Prime Minister ‘rooster’ John Key ….

I predict that ‘Mr Popular’ (ie: ‘Mr SUPER Spin-doctored’) Prime Minister John Key will not be feeling quite so ‘comfortable and relaxed’ about THIS one, as the tide of public opinion swells into a tsunami and swamps him (hopefully out of public office?)

A leading Canadian climate scientist has been awarded $50,000 in a defamation suit against The National Post newspaper.

Andrew Weaver sued the Post over four articles published between December 2009 and February 2010. He alleged that the stories aimed to destroy his international reputation.

In a B.C. Supreme Court decision on Thursday, Justice Emily Burke agreed that the defamatory articles would lead a reasonable person to conclude that Weaver is an incompetent, inept, and unethical scientist and professor.

“I conclude the defendants have been careless or indifferent to the accuracy of the facts,” Burke wrote in her ruling. “As evident from the testimony of the defendants, they were more interested in espousing a particular view than assessing the accuracy of the facts.”

Personally I prefer the former EAD, but as we both know, the sheeple have spoken, and they’ve decided unwittingly without even knowing the choice is on the table that they’d prefer the latter. The annoying thing is isn’t it that when the hammer falls and all the sheeple wake up and realise the plain and obvious fact that they’ve been played like violins all this time, that you and I are going to be in pretty much the same boat as all the rest of the fools, albeit our boats are going to be a bit more solid and robust than most of theirs are. But we’re all going to be in the same choppy seas.

Yes Penny but I notice you didn’t make the obvious connection I did about the fact that Goddard clearly has been appointed simply because from the UK establishment’s point of view she’s going to be a safe pair of hands and that’s the real issue behind it because what’s going to happen is that Goddard is going to spend years and years on it in the obvious desire to obfuscate everything and she’s also going to focus most of the effort on things other than the Westminster connections. And there’ll be a few notable people like Cliff Richard indicted to give the media something to focus the public’s attention on so they (the media and the establishment) can all pretend justice has been served. Goddard will be appointed to the NZ Order of Merit and probably get a UK gong from the Queen and everyone will pretend as if this is just a historic anomaly that will never ever happen again.

Which as you know is nothing like the truth but that’s what’s going to happen. And I notice you didn’t join any of those palpably obvious dots.

Some hate liberal women for personal reasons:

They see western women as being sexually satisfied, where as they themselves as young muslim men don’t know if they please their own women, given that they have been genitaly circumsised. Some women – mostly from Africa and the likes of Afganistan – have had their private parts butchered, while some others have simply had a ‘minor cut'[so that they are then keeping within sharia law – and in doing so can still orgasim ect.]

So what do you think of the Ironsands allegation in the Pike River book Penny? I noticed on your site you’ve got a link to it so I assume you’ve read it. Have you looked into the repeal act for the Foreshore and Seabed to see if what he says about that rings true?
