I have no evidence of a “Jewish conspiracy”, however I do believe that various groups have interests that conflict with others (one f the main arguments against multiculturalism).

OK.

So once we’ve disposed of that “problem”, how do we resolve the other interests that conflict?: –

young vs old
men vs women
workers vs bosses
low vs middle vs high income
unskilled vs skilled and educated
town vs country
Auckland vs rest of the country
liberals vs conservatives
healthy vs sick
short term needs vs long term development
feel free to add you own…

Peacefully balancing the interests of competing groups is the very stuff of modern government and society. It is what the framers of the American Constitution – and their more pragmatic British and Commonwealth counterparts for that matter – were seeking to achieve.

In other words, I don’t think stopping a few more “undesirables” at the border will solve your problem, hj. Instead, welcome to messy modern democracy as people have fought and died for!

But seriously; I am certain the percentage of grotesque obese women has increased considerably in the past 40 years.
Damon Runyon wrote so beautifully about 80 years ago about women who had bumps and hollows in all the right places. It portrayed a picture of women, who carried a little bit of condition but were not obese.
Sadly there are fewer of them for an old man like me to perv at these days.

By promoting the concept of superiority of the white race, western capitalists not only established the present unipolar world, but also are maintaining that. My family worked very hard to convince Americans that its multicultural society is its biggest asset in the emerging multipolar world order. It can guarantee a very respectable and probably a leading place for America in the new world order. We used to celebrate “Diversity Day” every year. Many people joined us from America and Canada, including some well-known leaders of different communities. At first, we got a very good response from both countries. We received congratulations from the American President and the Canadian government started promoting multiculturalism as an official policy. We got good coverage from Punjabi, Indian, and mainstream media.

Curvy women IQ…
It has been suggested that much of the Flynn effect (increases in population IQ during 20th century, now seemingly halted or in decline) was due to better nutrition and gradual elimination of nutritional deprivation and negative impacts of childhood disease amongst babies and children. During this same period average adult heights also increased substantially. So perhaps this curvy women finding is indeed reflective of better gestational nutrition.

There is a correlation between average brain volume and average IQ in a population. And there is also a correlation between height and brain volume, so taller people are on average more intelligent than shorter people due to higher average brain volume. It is perhaps most true for certain types of intelligence involving spatial/visualisation/mathematical/problem solving skills than for communication skills. Eg very noticeable in engineering and sciences how many very tall guys there are (anecdotally my class had 5% > 1.95m, when in general population >1.95m is <0.5%).

That would be an example.

And because they were perceived as failing to do it justly and/or competently, they were booted out of office.

The reason we don’t have people running around killing each other trying to change the existing ruling regime is because we have confidence that, in the main, the means of effecting a balance favourable to me/my interest group are in place: we get to vote in free and fair elections, we have a free media, and we have the right of free speech to try and effect change.

And so too do those of other competing interest groups…

No, no. hj.

They may indeed differ in one point (although the history of NZ has been always been bi-cultural, with winners and losers depending on population and potential military force, e.g., Maori were in such a dominant cultural position Governor FitzRoy was in no position to do anything about the Wairau Massacre)

but you are overlooking the primary point:

even if you got rid of multiculturalism, you would still have plenty of conflicting interests to deal with. Whereas I’d suggest the implication of your posts is that if we did end that policy, most things would be fine and dandy….

For me the late 1940s and 1950s were ‘The Good Old Days”.

In UK we had just won the War. OK the country was stuffed, it had a tired ‘badly-in-need-of-a-make-over’ look. But who cared?.

We’d even shown old Winnie (Sir Winston Churchill to the unenlightened) the door and elected a Labour Government.

(Talk about masochists!!)

Half the new Labour Cabinet were wartime conscientious objectors!! (Or so my Mum said!)

Sweets and chocolate came off the ration, you could put your name down for a new car (!) delivered in – maybe – three years time!

Seemingly half of UK’s workers biked to work wearing their old Army jackets.

At school there was an underground trade in WW2 stuff like expended cartridges and Brit/US/German badges and uniform bits.

(I remember seeing a bunch of German POWs in our town digging up the road for the GPO. So I proudly(!) wore a golden Nazi Eagle insignia that my RN brother had ‘liberated’ ashore at Normandy and watched them at it.)

Ah, yes! Those were the days alright. A great time to be eleven years old!!

So, say you had a house to sell and a Chinese buyer was offering 20% than a Kiwi, you’d sell to the Kiwi on principle? Or having decided you’d take the extra coin, the government stepped in and told you to take that 20% lower figure and you’d be thrilled?

Aside from that, valuations are bollocks guesses from self-proclaimed experts. The real value is what someone will pay for it, or rather pay to offer $1 more than the next best offer.

Zapper, as a matter of interest, does your pseudonym, “Zapper”, indicate a link or former link or sympathy with the former Christchurch group/sect, Zenith Applied Philosophy, whose adherents were widely known as Zappers? ZAP was a break-off from Scientology, as I recall, and Zappers were out in the streets trying to recruit new adherents.

If so, it’s odd, because, ZAP ran a vigorous and extensive campaign against Lada cars, because they were made in what was the then communist Soviet Union.

If ZAP were around now as an organisation, surely it would oppose land sales to the communist People’s Republic of China. (Some of ZAP’s former members are still about and well known, such as controversial southern property developer David Henderson.)

China is seeking control of farmland around the world, but not all are suckers like National in selling farmland to China.

The biggest deal of all, in Ukraine, entails the lease of land equivalent to the area of Belgium to China, and comprising 5 per cent of the area of Ukraine.

Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay have imposed or are imposing restrictions on the sale of land to foreigners, and the big would-be buyers are China. Both Brazil and Argentina restrict the amount of land that can be held by foreigners in any single locality.

Watch the PR hacks hired by the Chinese now trot out how great the investment will be for NZ.

Yep, God bless trade. But trade is not the same as investment. The Chinese know this. Foreigners can’t buy land in China, and China has yet to allow foreigners to invest in its core industry, steel making. The Chinese are happy to invest in our core industry, dairying, while National has its head up Beijing’s arse.

And, Dime, NZ’s “favourable” location re north Asia, is a bit of a myth. Beijing is closer Paris than it is to Auckland and transport on the trans-Siberian railway and on to Europe is cheaper than sea transport.

Radio NZ’s Labour Radio has a new “National” side speaker on its Monday political panel today: Trish Shershon.

She sounded authoritative and spoke well, but really, a PR agency chief as spokesman for the ruling political party?

However, Shershon was quite naive in declaring that world consumers would boycott the pirates’ toothfish catch. Like the way no-one would eat illegal catches of paua from an NZ beach?

But it has raised as much interest as a brick. That’s the problem when credibility has crumbled.

Whether there’s anything of importance to be concerned about or not what most people are likely to be thinking is “who is paying for that line of attack?”

And it gets forlorn in the comments – the few that there are (part 37 of the ‘Little sux’ series raises more interest).

Having banned just about everyone but the Whale Orchestra does Pete wonder why the Do You Put Money in the Parking Meter raises three times more comments than their news of the day? .

Whale Oil is impotent unless the failed old media picks up his stories and puts them out to the mainstream audience.

Having slated the MSM over and over they are now complaining about being ignored. What did they expect?

It doesn’t end here. Lives will be ruined, companies may go broke, and with really bad luck, lives may eventually be lost.

Calling the MSM spiteful is a bit ironic.

Haha, I don’t think so. Phil doesn’t seem to like me very much. He said to me this morning “..you silly little whining -man..” – which is kinda ironic considering how much he whines. Ignoring him is best.

My business model is smell of an oily rag and walk away tomorrow if I choose. But it ws more a big at Slater’s 7 figure investment in his own dreams of not just blog domination but media domination. And they whine when the MSM ignore their ‘scoops’.

I’d like to have seen Freed try things out but Slater is too much of a liability. Continuing to promote nasty was bound to bite him (and Graham) on the bum.

I think what were seeing here is that now that Lynn Prentice or some other senior leftist power figure in the seething NZ blogosphere scene once in some moment of madness just before Christmas, identified Pete along with Farrar and Slater as part of an evil right wing blogger’s troika, Pete’s now making an internal power play against his triad brother, a titanic struggle of biblical proportion which no doubt will play out with increasing viciousness and appalling casualty figures as Pete battles reasonably, sensibly and fairly against the heartless evil that is the naked Whale, unplugged.

Look forward to it folks, buy lots of popcorn, chose your sides and don’t expect boring vapid crap in any way, because there’s no fucking way that’s ever going to happen when Pete’s on the job! Right Pete?

In the videos there never was any third man in the car with the two gunmen like the press says.
Also, in the video of the fake shooting of Ahmed Merabet the two gunmen had the same skin colour. The Kouachi brothers accused of the terrorism had distinctly different skin colour.

Weird story about that Australian golfer who got beaten up. There’s something more to the story, I bet. The ‘homeless woman’ who found him tells a slightly different story.

[The homeless woman] Keane said she found Allenby a block away from the bar, not six miles, where he was trying to pay two men $500 to get his belongings back. She told Nine News he requested she use his remaining credit card to withdraw the money to pay the men off. When the men became aggressive, she helped Allenby leave the situation in a cab with a retired military man. The man reportedly paid for the taxi back to his hotel at Waialae Country Club.
