I always assumed, based on his surname, that DPF’s ethnicity was linked to the Lebanese Catholic community. Like Joe Karam, and the Farey and La Hood families of Dunedin.

Which means he is still an infidel for the purposes of the Iranian regime!

I can’t read arabic Harriet and I’m struggling to discern the little pictographs even.

Green circle is a Mosque – “blocked for un-islamic content or being of an infidel religion”???

Light blue circle is a family – “blocked for gay marriage / divorce content”???

Pink circle is an atom – “Blocked for enemy military allegiance”???

Orange circle is a satellite dish – “Blocked for being an un-approved broadcaster”???

It would be interesting to see a translation of the page, see how much social policy the Ayatollahs and the christian taliban here in NZ agree on! 😛

I’m just saying how they view western political commentators.

Russia is the same…….the world family congress in Russia just last week was singled out by western political agitators for ‘gay hate’ ect.

It’s not strange behaviour on the part of the Russians – considering the bolshi/marxist crap that destroyed Russia. I would then say it is thoughtful behaviour.

In reality, the people just have work-arounds for these silly laws. Iran is full of satellite dishes and the people disregard this sort of nonsense. They are pretty cynical about the leaders.

I speak with people in Iran on social media. Never heard a bad word said about America, or even a mention of Israel. That is how ordinary folk act. The government is a different story.

Of course I think all censorship is evil. If you disagree you can hit the: report abusive comment button 😉

Similar issues 6 years ago in Dubai with many sites – they also had International Skype calls blocked as they competed with local Telecoms Providers revenue. You need to hook into someone’s VPN.

Jews DO Control The Media

July 12, 2012 “Times Of Israel” — We Jews are a funny breed. We love to brag about every Jewish actor. Sometimes we even pretend an actor is Jewish just because we like him enough that we think he deserves to be on our team. We brag about Jewish authors, Jewish politicians, Jewish directors. Every time someone mentions any movie or book or piece of art, we inevitably say something like, “Did you know that he was Jewish?” That’s just how we roll.

We’re a driven group, and not just in regards to the art world. We have, for example, AIPAC, which was essentially constructed just to drive agenda in Washington DC. And it succeeds admirably. And we brag about it. Again, it’s just what we do.

But the funny part is when any anti-Semite or anti-Israel person starts to spout stuff like, “The Jews control the media!” and “The Jews control Washington!”

Suddenly we’re up in arms. We create huge campaigns to take these people down. We do what we can to put them out of work. We publish articles. We’ve created entire organizations that exist just to tell everyone that the Jews don’t control nothin’. No, we don’t control the media, we don’t have any more sway in DC than anyone else. No, no, no, we swear: We’re just like everybody else!

Does anyone else (who’s not a bigot) see the irony of this?

Let’s be honest with ourselves, here, fellow Jews. We do control the media.

stupidboy, I did not write the article. A Jewish guy did. Same with the other article I posted. Both published in Israeli news services.

One of the the reasons I prefer Judaism, to the other desert cults, is their intellectual tradition and open debate. Get two Rabbis in a room you will have three opinions.

The only people I encounter, who are unable to engage in honest debate, are right wing Christian zionists. Increasingly Jewish folk are identifying as atheist, while continuing the Jewish intellectual tradition.

Try and keep up 🙂

stephieboy, as I took some pains to note, opinions vary in Judaism. A lot in fact. I also said I admire the Jewish intellectual tradition for that very reason.

Interestingly you do not make the same point in regard to Muslims. If one person, among a few billion, says something, you attribute identical views to all Muslims.

So I ask you stupidboy, why the double standard ?

How can that be so with all the Jew bashing throughout Europe?

The Jews have requested the aid of the media to stop the anti-jewish hatred in Europe and the demonising of Israel.

The problem in Europe – muslims aside – is that after the second world war European borders came down and the EU was created – ‘freedom’ – and generations of european youth have lived like that – free to go where they please. There is nothing wrong with that -but –

– While those in Israel have had to defend themselves all of that time against hostile neighbours – and so – European youth then see Israeli youth as being ‘selfish’ ‘hostile’ ect towards it’s neighbours. We know that ain’t the truth.

Kea needs to post the link to the UN – from the meeting held in the last couple of weeks with over 500 people in attendance – where they all heard that the UN has done nothing other than spend all of it’s time imposing restrictions on Israel – and next to none on anyone else. Not that they could – but Israel is an easy target with ‘all the dumbed down youth’ in Western countries.

Kea is not trolling, he’s doing the following:

1. Starting a fight – because it’s fun.

2. Being more pure than the purest when it comes to double standards. Never will Kea say of himself: Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes. This is also fun.

3. Fights over semantics. These are also fun, if stupid. The end game is to proclaim victory by implying one’s opponent is being obsessive or getting too angry or has a reading disability. More fun.

The trick is to treat Kea as a more argumentative version of Johnboy. 🙂

kea, I’d like to point out that as you will undoubtedly be aware I ‘m a supporter of Israel but am not adverse at supporting Muslims too .
There are e.g some poster crazies here like David Garrett and kowtow who would like to see our countries 50,00 Muslims deported.
An utterly insane idea.!
Only a small tiny minority of Muslims desire to choose to join ISIS etc. And now at long last Inmans and other Islamic spokesmen are speaking out against these mainly young fanatics..

There is not much that I agree with Dawkins, but look into what he’s got to say about this.
He may not agree with Christians, but he’s not in fear of his life of them.
