I have repeatedly told you I have seen all Pat Condell’s videos and are subscribed to his Youtube channel. “How Gay is Islam” is a personal favourite of mine.

Here is one about Saudi Arabia. You know, the ones who organised, financed and carried out the 9/11 attacks. The biggest financiers of radical Islam on the planet. The ones with hand chopping, women lashing, homo hanging, Sharia law.

And the one who is an American friend from where they fly missions against Afghan peasants ! That place.

You’re not wrong Kea….I’ve seen photos of Iranian women taken before the revolution & there was little to complain about.

By way of contrast my nephew resides permanently in LA & he reckons that the ‘People of Walmart’ video clips actually flatter some of the America women.

Thanks for those links. I did remember the issue at the time.
Based on DPF’s post it looks like Helen Clark’s actual words are lost in the mists of time. It would be great to find them, for the record and all that.
However, in DPF’s kiwiblog post this bit sticks out:
Attitudes on the West Coast could be “fairly feral,” she said.

The issue was over poisoning of trees.

So if that is all a right wing blog can find, I’d say Paulus comment which was this:
When Helen Clark called the Westcoasters “Ferals and Inbreds”…

is nothing close to what was actually said.

1) Helen Clark seems to be commenting on the ATTITUDES of people who think it okay to poison trees as feral, not directly abusing them (like Slater did), and
2) There is no mention of the word “inbred”.

Now, it was the nasty side of Helen Clark that I couldn’t stand. This became more obvious in her last term when it was becoming obvious that she was losing favour with the country. In this case it is clear that the nasty side came out.
But Paulus “quote” is wrong. Simple as that.
And Helen Clark’s comment certainly can’t be compared to what Slater said. He is in a league of his own!

Nope kea. She said their attitude towards poisoning trees was “fairly feral”. There is a difference. If you can’t see that, well so be it, I’m not going to spend all night arguing with you about it.

Paulus also said she called them inbred, but in DPF’s post it was clear that this didn’t happen (or at least there is no evidence of it).

As DPF said in his post at the time, he prefers Clark’s “haters and wreckers” quote as the definite example of Clark at her nastiest.
In that case Clark was abusing people. DPF sees the difference kea.

OneTrack, that is not a nice thing to say about the good working folk who invented the Labour party, while harvesting FOSSIL FUEL, is it ?

The days of Labour representing the common working masses ended with Clark well and truly. They are now regarded as ignorant brutes by the left, in preference for vocal minorities.

National is now the true working mans party and it is about time people like my dear old mum & dad realised that and updated their political ideas.

Now, Now Kea that is a little unfair. Yes Pat is an Atheist and abhors religious practice and especially in its extreme forms as with Radical and Fundamentalist Islam or any religion for that matter. Yes a he believes e.g that having Jerusalem for religious reasons whether Islamic, Christian or Judaic is not a good one.
But that falls very short of his defending Israel’s right to exist which Pat has done consistently ,very clearly and persistently.The alternative of a Radical Islamic JIhaddist takeover is the stuff of nightmares in his estimation.
But not apparently yours.?
