Police pay
Have embedded an interesting OIA passed onto me, about Police pay.
Shows that there are around 640 Police constables on over $80,000 a year, being around 10% of their numbers.
For Sergeants, around 40% are on over $90,000 and for Senior Sergeants around 80% are on over $90,000.
The numbers are interesting, but for one I think they are appropriate. Police officers have to put up with a lot of crap. Note the figures are base salary only.
