It wasn’t criticism, it your time do what you want, why I got involved this morning was his preposterous suggestion that banding together a number of links and putting them on his blog was a job, I contended it was nothing but a hobby and that he was delusional if he thought it constituted self employment.

I wasn’t even nasty about it and thats when the trouble started, all of a sudden I was an ex-copper who bashed people.

He appears to be a touch sensitive to the slightest criticism, which is strange for a self appointed media mogul

the fact that I support the science behind global warming yet when it comes to Maori culture i am inclined to the far right
I am not racist persay I just believe most of wot ails Maoridom is clinging to the pre contact culture
the violence lack of respect and repression of woman that I have seen within those moari that I have worked or associated with horrifies me
I am inclined to take the fight against this very strenuously mostly because the PC rubbish that we are subjected to deserves a good kicking
Many maori leave these shore to escape this culture that they see as holding them down Friends of mine are included in this migration they are not fleeing any perceived racist behavior from pahkeha they are fleeing the hate criminality and violence of there own
there has been litle benefit to the maori on the street from the treaty process and the politics of separatism will do no benefit either
I have lived a life mostly in south auckland and my views are not those of the educated and insulated elite as such my views and knowledge on the subject are somewot more raw than most profess This dose not mean that I am ignorant my closes confidant is heavily involved with the coal face in education when it comes to the problems this culture causes, this again gives me true insight into the problems this abhorrent culture inflics on the most defenseless within it

Look normally I wouldn’t do this, re-post something I said earlier but I do so because someone else above thinks it’s important and phil is just wasting everyone’s time, as he normally does. Also, I think it’s important, as you will read.

Again. So, apologies, but not really. I suggest the villagers get together over this issue below and we march on parliament sometime this week. Those further away than Eastbourne may need to start early tomorrow. Let’s assemble in Parliament’s garden around 10:30ish on Monday. Can someone bring some snacks? I quite like smoked salmon hor d’oeuvres myself but feel free to bring other flavours as well.

Following was in response to David Garrett 1:46 post re: 200+ page Police Tuhoi interview transcript showing why Police acted the way they did…

But hey, nothing to worry about there…the oppressive honky state has really just been engaged in an exercise in stamping on the throat of people doing nothing wrong….

What really fucks me off David about this is the entire media corps, the whole damn lot of them, every single one, insist on portraying this whole thing as being a completely OTT unjustifiable reaction from the nasty aggressive coppers who won’t even apologise.

What the fuck is wrong with the journalists that all of them, every single one of them, insist on ramming this particular perspective and nothing but this particular perspective, down our collective throats.

Does the entire media corps actually want Maoridom to swallow the propaganda lie that Tuhoi radicals are desperately pushing? It is simply outrageous that not one single mainstream outlet has ever, since this entire saga began, consistently pushed back on this propaganda lie and done its fucking job and placed the facts before the people. Facts such as this affidavit. Facts such as the reason the prosecution failed is not because of no evidence but because the law wasn’t up to the task required of it. Facts such as, real stuff happened.

Not one single mainstream media outlet has ever done this. Fuck I’m furious over this. I’m completely fucking ropable. This is because I have an acute understanding of social trends and how propaganda affects them and I can see precisely how this lie is going to play out in our society over the coming decade or so until it is woven into the social fabric and it is going to do indescribable damage to our country, let me tell you. I am talking about ramifications similar to what we have seen over the anti-nuke thing in terms of what that has done to our national perception of our relationship with America, the importance of defence and the military, and things like that. Seismic waves of that proportion are starting to be propagated here, by the media’s stance on this issue, with respect to how Maori perceive the rest of us in this country. It is not too late but it almost is, before these perceptions are burned into the fabric.

And all the media has to do to prevent this damage is to do it’s fucking job and tell the truth about it. i.e. put the facts before the people. That is all it has to do. But it’s not doing that. Instead it’s spinning furiously the falsehood and the lie. One can accept that, indeed expect that, from a proportion of the media, say left wing radio and perhaps TVNZ and TV3. But to also have it coming from the main newspapers as well shows that something is seriously amiss in the media structure in this country. When not a single newsroom in the entire country is prepared to take a consistent long term editorial stance promoting the correct truth on the right side of this issue, it shows almost a sinister aspect. Almost as if its deliberate. Because if I can understand and see the effects of propaganda on society then sure as hell those who do it for a living, must also be able to see it too. So if this is being done deliberately, it is sinister. There is no other word for it. and if it’s just happening by accident, then you have to believe every single editor in the entire country has no idea of the power of the press, and how many people buy that? But it’s one of the two. There is no third alternative.

Not sure why you jibed at me on that then. I see quite a bit of that at The Standard, and get clobbered for voicing “dissent” to the blog line there.

I call things as I see them, it just happens that my views coincide quite a bit with United Future policies and principles, but a lot of center-ish would find that quite easy. I work with UF a bit but most of what I do is independent. I’m also in communication with several parties and a number of MPs. My aim is to get more positive cross-party working for common good. Far too much time and effort is wasted on negative politics. We try to “fix” MMP when we should be trying to fix behaviour and focus of MPs and parties, who would abuse any democratic system if that’s what they could get away with.

The other thing I would note is a reference to paul As little hand book rules for… may be a better approach to getting this little story across
I would suggest something along the lines of turning up at parliament or a tv station dressed in camo complete with replica guns and bottles fulled with red water and corked with a rag
Another protest without some impact would do little misdirection towards the media would probably benefit as well
if you can find a few more idiots to protest I would be a starter I would need a little more time however as work needs to be satisfied first
