Yes – a bit of fun but you miss the point of satire if you leave your target associated in the reader’s mind with celebrity, sex and glamour.

The current rag with both JK and Goofy on the cover caught my eye at the supermarket today – until I read the bit where Goofy shares with us how he keeps the love alive.

I was sick a little in my mouth 🙁

2008 – the theme was you cant trust John Key.
2011 – still undertones of that message, but the new angle is Key doesnt say anything (subtext – what he does say we dont agree with so therefore he doesnt stand for anything)
Just remember that we are in a GFC and the economy has had a huge hit with the ChCh EQ.
But in La La(bore) land, we should have a roaring economy and GDP growth scorching along at 4% despite all our trading partners in various stages of meltdown. Go figure.

You’re right – most of what he does is infantile. Nevertheless, this was a good effort IMO. Don’t expect him to maintain the standard though.

Dimpost provides such an outlet for them.

Here of course we don’t have to be soooooo subtle as the open sewer system takes the utter ghastliness away to somewhere where only the Green party have to agonize over it. 🙂

There are a number of things I will never do in life, this combines two: touch a womans magazine, or take advice from a socialist. I looked at the cover, didnt open. There are boundaries you know. Touch a woman who is a socialist, yes indeedy, but only at low points in my life 😉

Hi Labour, I will not vote National I will destroy my ballot. You might be my prefered choice but you are adjectives fail me but you are fucking usless. It is a fair political choice in my opinion.
