Wellington wins v Wellywood

The Airport Company has listened to the people, and has announced the sign will not say Wellywood.

There will be some sort of community selection process and a panel to consider alternatives. Excellent. Gives Wellingtonians a say on a sign that due to its size and prominence will be a significant brand for the city.
