Plain English Awards

I meant to  blog on these last week before they closed on Monday. Sadly I got distracted with other stuff in Auckland and didn’t blog much, and in my catch up only got to it today.

Anyway, while it is too late to enter, still check out the Plain English Awards.

The awards will be announced on 3 September. Their categories are:

1. Plain English Champion
2. Best Plain English Document
3. Best Plain English Website
4. Best Plain English Sentence Transformation
5. Best Plain English Technical Communicator
6. People’s Choice

Some of the awards have sections for being “brain strain” or “gobbledygook”, so should be lots of fun.
