I am on moderation at RedAlert blog, so I asked the admin there the following question/s.

Trev/admin, why my comments are being moderated? I’ve been only given one warning for going off-topic AFAIK. I haven’t posted abusive stuff here? Am I being moderated for using/quoting fact-based knowledge in my arguments, which is basically hard for anyone in this blog to put forward a counter-argument to them? Just curious.

Clare, to help me in my posting here, can you point out to where have I been trolling on this blog? AFAIK I have never been trolled here. To the best of my knowledge, Don Chritie mentioned that I was trolling on the thread for excluding software patents, in which a RedAlert reader StephenR commented on that thread that Don was evading the debate with me, therefore he called me a troll. StephenR saw that I offered reason and Don evaded. That was the fact. Don evaded me and that’s what happens when one cannot put forward a counter-argument to a debate. One either evades or even ban/moderate and ad hominem. Coincidentally, you supported Don Christie’s position on not allowing software patent. One can see that I was arguing with reason on that thread and not trolling .Trolling on RedAlert is what Spud is doing. Is he/she being on moderation list too? I doubt it.

Can you point out to some threads on this blog that you think I have been trolling? If you can’t find one, then I think you’re being disingenuous. I suspect that you moderate me, since no one or hardly anyone can put forward a counter argument to my posts. You can ban me if you want, it is your private property (RedAlert blog) afterall, but please don’t label me as a troll poster, because I am not. I am a formidable debater and that’s fact. Don’t equate formidable debate to being trolling, because they’re not the same thing .There are troll posters here on RedAlert that you don’t moderate them at all.

Think yourself lucky. Over on the Green Party frog blog they present the appearance of debate, yet comments which contradict the official statist line are quietly suppressed. Not even an attempt at justification.
What they end up with is a cross between an echo chamber and a circle jerk, where alarmist myths compete with economically ignorant blandishments; with the sum taken as justification for their battery of neo-fascist policies.

Falafulu, you just have to accept whatever policies or practices each blog has. “Trolling” usually just means “I don’t want to see what you post”. The Standard is more blatant in it’s censorship, the “moderators” just say if they don’t like you posting they’ll ban you. On the other side it can be similarly uninviting, Crusader Rabbit (old site) said Leftoids are not welcome. Go find a foetid swamp somewhere..you’ll feel more at home. Their new version is Leftists/”progressives”/socialists are not welcome here. Pay for your own soapbox.

Many people running or frequenting blogs don’t actually want to discuss or debate, they want to state their ideas, get patted on the back by like minded, and don’t tolerate criticism. It’s up to them if it’s their site, but they forget when they come to a forum like Kiwiblog that it is an open site and they can’t control their intended message, and especially they can’t control alternative messages. Seems to frustrate the hell out of some.

Some even applaud the death of opposing commentators.

Amongst the fraudulent instances of credit card misuse or fraud by the Kapiti Coast District Council was this item

” During the period covered by The Dominion Post’s OIA request, the council also identified eight instances of fraud, totalling $1992.37, including spending on horse equipment and pharmaceuticals.

Bank investigations showed the transactions were not made by council staff. The credit card involved has been cancelled.”

No mention on whether the matter was reported to the Police or whether the miscreants who should have been fairly easy to identify were charged, perhaps the CEO was too embarrassed by his own misuse to take the matter further.

The Catholic church, already reeling from a string of clerical sex abuse scandals, is facing new embarrassment after an Italian magazine published an investigation into what it termed the double life of gay priests in Rome.

Using hidden cameras, the weekly Panorama, owned by Italy’s prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, captured priests visiting gay clubs and bars and having sex. The Vatican does not condemn homosexuals, but it teaches that gay sex is “intrinsically disordered”. In one of his earliest moves, pope Benedict barred actively gay men from studying for the priesthood.

The diocese of Rome lashed out at the prime minister’s magazine, saying its aim was “to create scandal [and] defame all priests”. But it also urged gay clerics to leave both the closet and the priesthood.

It said, “Consistency would require that they come into the open”, but that they “ought not to have become priests”.

The semi-official papal daily, L’Osservatore Romano, made no reference to the affair. Vatican Radio reported it briefly.

One priest, a Frenchman in his 30s identified as Father Paul, attended a party at which there were two male prostitutes then said Mass the following morning before driving them to the airport, Panorama reported. A photo on its website claimed to show the priest in his dog collar but without his trousers with a gay man who acted as decoy for the magazine. In other shots, priests were shown apparently kissing Panorama’s collaborator.

A member of the clergy quoted by the magazine put the proportion of gay priests in the Italian capital at “98%”. The Rome diocese insisted the vast majority of priests in the city were “models of morality for all”, while adding that the number of gay clergyman was “small, but not to be written off as isolated cases”. A review eight years ago of research on the American church concluded that between a quarter and a half of seminarians and priests there were homosexual.

A former Italian MP and gay activist, Franco Grillini, said: “If all the gays in the Catholic church were to leave it at once – something we would very much like – they would cause it serious operational problems.”

Another well-known spokesman for the gay community, Aurelio Mancuso, condemned Panorama’s investigation as a “horrible political and cultural operation”, but agreed that if priests in Rome were to follow the advice given to them in yesterday’s statement, it would “paralyse” the diocese.

In March, the pope’s own household was rocked by scandal when court documents revealed a Vatican chorister had procured male prostitutes for a papal gentleman-in-waiting.

One gets the impression homosexuality is ENDEMIC within the Roman Catholic leadership.

And following is my reasoning as to why:

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

It is my belief that the Roman Catholic church, especially its leadership, is subject to “giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”; they speak “lies in hypocrisy”; “their conscience[s] [are] seared with a hot iron”; they ESPECIALLY “Forbid [their priests] to marry”; and most importantly they reject “the truth” of God’s word.

That so many of her priests are caught up in the abomination of homosexuality bears testament to the spiritual corruption present within the Roman Catholic church hierarchy.

My advice to the average Catholic is to GET OUT, and get to know the author behind the scriptures, rather than relying on spiritually corrupt men within a spiritually corrupt system.

Of course important people such as Professor Schneider must fly because they are doing an “important” job. But people from middle America, who work hard and want to go on vacation or to visit family they must be kept at home.

And the people of the developing world, they must forget about living in a modern economy burning fossils fuels or having a modern business infrastructure which involves airports and business flights. No—according to the late Professor Schneider and his colleagues they must continue to have a pre-industrial existence because industry will destroy the planet by causing Global Warming.

Of course the recent Global Warming scare is not the first time that Professor Schneider wanted to call a halt to the modern industrial world. In the 1970’s Prof Schneider was one of the main Global cooling alarmists—he warned we were about to enter a new Ice Age and the only solution was to end industrial output.

Methinks there’s another agenda at work here – and to bring that agenda about the Western Industial World must die.

Falafulu Fisi 10.32…. the solution to what appears to be your problem is simple … post according to the general approach of the site … after all they are paying to give us the opportunity to contribute. I was asked to leave Crusader Rabbit and really it didn’t particularly bother me that they couldn’t toleerate any even mild questioning or lateral thinking. Then there was QOT whose approach to writing on her own blog quickly palls, yet she can write quite well when she visits others and can be interesting to read. Toleration for others I think Falafulu Fisi .

I just get so sad about the RC’s.
All the decent people I know who are part of it getting on with life in their communities.

I’ve never understood in this democratic age why there isn’t more “people power” to deal to the offenders and their enablers within their church.
At the very least I’d expect them to tell their local bishop to tell the Vatican that they were going to stop all monies until it is clearly sorted and offenders and their enablers handed over to their local police.

The country’s youngest convicted killer is back in trouble after allegedly punching his mum on Mother’s Day.
Bailey Junior Kurariki, 21, has been charged with assaulting his mother Lorraine West at her South Auckland home on May 9. He is currently being held in custody for failing to answer the door at a bail check.
West told the Herald on Sunday Kurariki punched her as she celebrated Mother’s Day with her daughters and his former girlfriend.
Kurariki’s sister, who had been having a cup of coffee with West and the former girlfriend when the alleged assault happened, called the police.
West said the former girlfriend and Kurariki had been expecting a child together but West said she had talked the woman into having an abortion.
He spent time in Mt Eden Prison earlier this year for wilfully damaging a television camera.
He has a raft of current charges against him, including breaching release conditions, common assault and male assaults female.

seems to have a habit of bashing females…low life piece of shit….only a matter of time before he kills someone…

I am no fan of the Catholic church, but quite frankly Kris what you have written above is equally true of your side of the fence.
There are corrupt leaders throughout protestant Christianity that are every bit as bad and often worse.
At least the Catholics have apologised for some of their crap.

The whole Kurariki thing is playing out as a seminal illustration of the tragedy surrounding those who live the under-belly.

He has no chance, IMO, of ever living a normal life. He was doomed from the start. I mean, look at his mother. I wonder what his father is like? Let’s have a look at him, as well.

Someone institutionalised at twelve through 18-19, is bound to develop warped attitudes – because life doesn’t work like that. But he never had a chance to find that out. Now he’s stuck in a warped mindset, permanently.

If that’s not tragic, I don’t know what is.

I have to agree that things look bad. However, as Peter said in John 6:68, “Domine, ad quem ibimus? verba vitæ æternæ habes” (“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”) Likewise, the Lord’s Church gives us the means to eternal life.

There is nowhere else to go, and believe me, I’ve looked.
