It’s true. Ever since he lost weight and went on Dancing With The Stars, dumped his wife, and took up with a young squash player, he thinks he is God’s gift.

But seriously, his whole attitude is like, “I’m the big man”. He won’t even listen to complaints about his idea – he just thinks he is right and is going ahead regardless.
I know that politicians are like that but Rodney is so blatant about it.

I don’t detect that Hide thinks he is the big man. I think he is determined to bring about the new Auckland Council on time and on budget. I doubt the govt will be deflected on the minor drama whipped up my poor old Orsman regarding Council Controlled Organisations (CCO’s) – a creation of the Labour Party in the first place. Poor old Orsman have he ever asked for information from the current “secret organisations” in the past he has had about eight years to do it.

The basic assertion of the campaigning left is negated by the very title of these organisations: the Council will control them.

Tempest in a teapot stuff.

You don’t have much cred on ethics having been a Winston1 booster. Crickey it was clear he was a snake oiler way back in the Hunua days. I cannot fathom how you were duped.

Calm down Chris Diack… I’ve said previously (in a post on Garrett) that I know Rodney (and several other senior ACT people) personally and am proud to say I do. I was having a laugh not so much at his expense but at the BRT’s and SST’s. No wonder the left can accuse the right of having no sense of humour.

And I’ll say again… I promoted NZ First right up till the moment that it became plain that it was about to veer from what it was telling the public, soon after Michael Laws became involved. If I’d had no ethics I would have kept quiet, and probably slid into Cabinet… then it could have been me who was responsible for some of the glorious achievements of the first NZF coalition like… err… flying to Paris to go shopping or… err… getting a nose stud 😀

And I was then briefly hired by ACT… so your bosses don’t seem to share your low opinion of my ethics… or is it that they don’t care?

Funny photos, this ACT supporter knows a good joke when he sees it. I’m a little surprised that Rodney would be seen as not listening or doing his job badly, when he has done everything he has been asked to do by John Key. His job was to oversee the creation of a supercity – job done. He has always been open to listening to other people too.
