The all female jury

Okay so the Xue case has an all female jury. How unusual is that?

Well roughly it would happen once in every 4096 juries. An all maje jury will occur with the same frequency so a same sex jury will occur every 2,048 times on average.

However women are actually 52% of the adult population, not 50%. If you adjust for that, then an all female jury will occur one time in 2,558.
