RIP Len Snee

Senior Constable Len Snee is the 29th police office to die in the line of duty. The Police are one of the very few jobs where you do have to regularly risk being assaulted, or more rarely killed, as part of the job.

Three officers have been killed in the last nine months. To put that into context, there were only three officers killed from 1991 to 2007.
