World did not end

CERN sucessfully tested the world’s largest particle collider last night. Yay for science.

At the Backbencher last night, someone asked if there was any chance Winston Peters would not be sacked by Helen Clark. The response was his only chance is that CERN do accidentially create a black hole which destroys the entire solar system.

So alas for Winston, even that lifeline has been cut off!

UPDATE: The test wasn’t the full test where the particles are sent into each other, so we still have a chance of gnerating our own black hole in a few weeks!
