Glenn sounds prepared
The Herald reports:
The billionaire said he had brought two staff members with him and they would be at the hearing today. He would make a statement to the committee and then be available to be questioned.
Mr Glenn said he had brought some corroborative evidence – “such as we can looking back over three years, as much as we could establish”.
The hearing will start after question time, so probably around 3.30 p.m.
It will be interesting to see what happens on iPredict today.
PM Labour sold at 1.20 this morning for 26.89c. Now if Owen Glenn says that Helen Clark asked him to donate to Peters (I am using this as an example not saying it happened) then that price will probably drop significantly.
MP Peters is the one most likely to move. These shares will pay $1 each if Peters is back in Parliament, either on the list or through winning an electorate. It sold yesterday for 33.92c. If Glenn nails Peters, then I also expect that price to drop.
Remember anyone aged over 18 can buy and sell shares. I’ve just purcchased some PM National shares at 75.03c. You can also do buys and sells in advance at set prices, so the deal will happen once someone is willing to meet your price.
