Well – not really, DPF. My blog’s more a meeting place for all the (mainly) women who’ve contacted me after the publication of my book on running. I’ve become an unlikely fitness guru and I’m more a conduit for women to contact one another than a real blogger. I’ll leave the heavy stuff to you. Four hours of talkback, four nights a week, and a weekly newspaper column is more than enough for me. All I want to write is a bit of nonsense. BTW, what is pinging?

Hey Kerre. Many blogs are actually like your ones – not about politics, just to chat on a topic etc.

A ping (sometimes called a trackback) is generated when one blog links to another. It is a way of telling the blog that has been linked to, that they have been linked to.
