The “f” word in Parliament

Margaret Wilson has not surprisingly ruled that you can not say “fuck” in Parliament, even when quoting someone else.

This reminds me of that times Havoc and Wells interviewed the then Speaker Jonathan Hunt, with Hunt in the Speaker’s Chair looking most serious. He then got more and more anxious as they pelted him with questions about what words can one say in Parliament? Can you say fuck? How about shit? How about dumb-arse? etc etc. The list went on for some time until finally they hit on a word which was okay!
