Tearaway interviews the Leaders
Tearaway – a teen focused magazine, has done an election 08 special which includes interviews with Helen Clark and John Key plus celebrity lookalike photos. Key gets Pee Wee Herman as a 95% match, while Helen will be very happy with her 87% match to Katie Holmes.
I thought the interview responses were revealing. First:
If you just got a billion dollars what would you do?
Key: I’d buy a jet, a personal jet. And donate some to charity.Clark: Probably give most of it away to development agencies offering education and opportunity and campaigns against HIV and AIDS in developing countries.
Heh I’d buy a bloody jet also. No-one could accuse John Key of giving a Crosby Textor answer to that question đ
What’s the happiest moment of your life?
Key: Probably getting married… I’ve been married for twenty four years… and it was a very happy moment.Clark: Waking up after a good night’s sleep.
Waking up? Oh my God Helen really needs to get out more if waking up every morning is the happiest moments of her life. I thought it would be climbing some mountain, being elected to something etc – but no it is waking up!
Meanwhile John may face questions back home for why his wedding day is only a “probably” đ
Favourite subjects at school?
Key: Economics.Clark: History and English.
How can anyone say economics was their favourite subject. My God. That’s like choosing accountancy.
I’m with Helen on picking History. I love history and don’t even think of it as work.
