An academic survey of bloggers and blog readers
Andrew Cushen, studying for an MA at Auckland University, is doing research on political blogging, and has two surveys as part of that research. Both have been approved by the University Ethics Committee, and responses are confidential.
The first (bloggers) survey is only for those who actually run or post at a blog which has political content. It takes around five minutes and it would be good to have as many bloggers as possible take part as the larger the sample the more robust it is.
The second (blog readers) survey is for anyone who reads political blogs. So as you are reading this, you are reading a political blog and are eligible to take part. Those who are also bloggers are also encouraged to do this survey as well as the first one. You don’t need to even post comments on a blog to take part – just read one or more political blogs. The only criteria is to be aged 16 years or older. This survey is shorter than the bloggers one and takes only a few minutes.
UPDATE: Fixed the link for the first survey so try that again if you are a blogger yourself.
