How is the Government going to help bring petrol prices down?

Petrol is close to $2 a litre. Now most of this is due to global costs, but what is the Government doing to help make petrol more affordable?

Oh it is going to stick on an extra 10c a litre regional tax, and other “initiatives” are predicted to add on another 15c a litre.

Oh yes that will help.
