Readers will be aware of how the Environment Ministry removed a chapter from their state of the environment briefing. Chris Trotter looks for parallels:
I even recall asking him whether he saw any parallels between the ministry’s deletion of material highly critical of this country’s agricultural sector from the first report on the state of our environment to be released in 10 years, and the Bush administration’s insistence that a long section on climate change be deleted from the Environment Protection Agency’s State of the Environment report in 2003?
At this point I feel compelled to remind people that Clark’s record on emissions growth is far worse than Bush’s.
