Trade Me auction on Consulate still going strong
The Trade Me auction of the Honorary Consulate is still there a day later, with bidding at $500,770. It’s almost impossible an auction with bidding that high would not have been noticed by Trade Me management, so they must have decided Consulates are now legitimate goods for sale!

Q: I was wondering if you would like to do a deal. I will steal it off you (you kinda leave the door unlocked and all, or maybe the key under the mat) .. and then you report it to the police .. and then we get some rich prick to pop up a reward (say $300K?) and then I give it back .. collect the reward .. split it with you 50/50 and then you re-sell it.
