Too delicious for words

This NZ Herald story on the House yesterday has a wonderful quote in defence of Annette’s King blaming the high murder rate on the moon and the sun:

Ms King, the Justice Minister, wasn’t there to defend herself against National’s Simon Power but Associate Justice Minister Rick Barker said her comments did not represent her own views.

Okay is that clear. The Minister’s comments do not represent her own views. This must be a previously unknown feature of Helen’s 1999 pledge for new standards of accountability.
