Proof you are in the dogbox
Oh hilarious, and not even subtle. They put Trevor on point duty to keep Glenn away from the PM, as this Herald photo shows. And look at his positioning. Boy I guess there are some things not even $500K makes up for.
And over at the Dom Post, they also have fun. It seems Judith Tizard claims the reason Helen didn’t hongi with Owen is because it was:
“Ngati Whatua rules that women don’t hongi”
But, Ngati Whatua Orakei Maori Trust Board chairman Grant Hawke said there was no such custom.
“We all hongi.”
Classic. And the pressure is getting to Clark, as reported in The Press:
Clark was asked this morning in Christchurch to comment on speculation that Williams had offered to resign. “I hardly think that’s the time to be raising those issues, we’re here about Earth Hour.” She then walked off.
Don’t you love the arrogance. She tells the journalist that you can only ask me about “Earth Hour” and thinks that there is something inappropriate about the media wanting to talk to her about her own Party President offering to resign.
And then we have Williams himself:
Williams refused to comment when approached a short time ago. “It’s between her and me and I will not comment.”
Hello?? The offered resignation of a Party President is not a private matter between the Leader and the President. For a start the President is accountable to the NZ Council and the members, not the PM.
