It’s Obama and Huckabee

Fox News reports that Obama has won Iowa on the Democratic side, with Clinton and Edwards locked in battle for 2nd place.

Huckabee has won on the Republican side, with Romney 2nd and Thompson a distant 3rd.

UPDATE: Huckabee at 34%, Romney at 25%.  Thompson 14%.  Romney really needs to beat McCain in New Hampshire now.

Obama got a very big margin also at 37% to 30% for both Clinton and Edwards.

The close races have led to a huge increase in turnout it seems. They expected 230,000 over both parties and will have over 300,000.  That’s 10% of the state taking time to actually attend a meeting (not just cast a vote at any time of the day) and participate.
