It’s all about me!

Adolf at No Minister has a very amusing comparison between Exodus 14:21-26 and the anti Electoral Finance Bill battle, in response to someone claiming I don’t walk on water (which is a pity as would be very useful in Wellington where even in summer the water is freezing).

Poneke labels me a celebthority: “Journalists seeking a quick quote ask him about almost any topic known to humanity, and he always obliges”. Poneke is having a bit of fun – almost all my media activity is related to politics or technology, which are two areas I know a bit about.  And I did once refuse to comment on a story – TV wanted comment on the profile of a typical child porn user – I decided there are some things best not to appear an authority on!  The NZPA news database has me in the news 97 times in 2007, which is around 96 times more often than I would have thought likely when I started blogging.  It is a mixture of stuff – EFB/A, sedition, spam law, copyright law etc.
