BBQ season

Had a nice BBQ at a friend’s place out in the Hutt yesterday.

There were eight adults and three kids (all under five) so I got to give in to my inner child and got to play on the trampoline (to see how high I could bounce the kids), assemble and reassemble transformers (much harder than one would think), race cars and play snakes & ladders and Connect 4 (of which I am the reigning champion).

I hope the summer stays as hot as it has been.  Normally we have to wait until Feb for the really good stuff, but hey there are some advantages to living here not in Naaru with global warming 🙂
