Sigh – more online poll tampering
Really – when will the newspaper sites learn. Bohemian Tory blogs:
To the question “Is New Zealand becoming a less free and democratic country?” results were 87% YES 13% NO at lunchtime today. Now, at 5:15pm it is 28% YES 72% NO.
If newspaper polls are not going to stop easy multiple voting, the least they can do is monitor the polls for obvious vote rigging and publish the IP addresses the multiple votes came from.
What would also be interesting is to see the yes/no votes on a time series by hour. I suspect that would show when the vote rigging occurs.
This is almost the 10th time this sort of thing has happened, and always the same pattern – a quick reversal of a consistent anti-Govt trend over the previous hours.
