Che = Pinochet

I’m amused by the fact Che Guevara is idolised by many on the left, as he seems to be the equivalent of General Pinochet – someone who may have done some useful stuff initially, but whose human rights record at the end of the day made them an embarrassment.

Wikipedia reminds us he oversaw the extra-judicial executions of 156 to 550 people. He also praised North Korea as “a model to which revolutionary Cuba should aspire”.
