Air NZ queues

I like the sounds of where Air NZ is planning to go in this article.

Regular flyers will get RFID tags for their luggage and you can place them directly onto a conveyer belt.  Superb – no more queues indeed.

What I do wish someone would change, is the security scanning at Wellington Airport.  At Auckland they have it so you do it before the Koru Club, and hence can go straight at boarding call onto the flight.

In Wellington you have to queue up waiting sometimes for ages to get security checked, even after the boarding call.

They should move the security check down into the beginning of the corridor just after the coffee bar.  Should be cheaper also as you have one check for all gates.
